A Year of Surprises

Harry was very excited about this day. Today was the day that Pansy and himself were going to Hogsmeade. He had so much planned for them, he was sure that Pansy would be exhausted by the end of the day. That night was going to be the perfect end to the perfect day.

On the walk to Hogsmeade, people could see how smitten Harry was with Pansy. He was holding her hand at the beginning of the walk, then he would put his arm around her shoulders, he even kissed her a few times, on the cheek of course. Harry was in love, and he didn’t care who saw it.

“I think we’ve lost Harry.” Draco said, with a frown on his lips, and a smile in his eyes.
“I do believe your right; I just hope that Pansy doesn’t break his heart.” Ginny answered back worriedly.
“I don’t think she will. Pansy really isn’t the type of person that would lead him on. She would tell him at the start if she liked him that way or not.” Draco reassured her.
“I hope your right. I love you, but he was my first crush. I don’t want to see him broken into tiny pieces.”
“I hope I’m right too. I’ll talk to her later; will that make you feel better?” Draco stopped walking long enough to hug and kiss his worried girlfriend.
“Thank you Draco.” Ginny kissed him back, and they walked the rest of the way in silence watching Harry and Pansy.

Pansy really didn’t know how to take all the attention Harry was giving her. Sure they’ve had some awesome sex together, but so far it’s just been as a group, although he prefers to be her partner, she never registered that he would fall for her this hard. She thought it would be Ginny that would catch his attention. She knew it was Draco, Ginny and Himself in the beginning, but she guessed it was always going to be Draco and Ginny forever, Harry needed someone of his own, and she was the lucky girl.

“So Pansy, what would you like to do today? Where would you like to start?” Harry asked, he looked at her with love in his deep green eyes.
“Um, could we go to the sweet shop first, or I know, could we go get some hot chocolate and some biscuits?” It was a sunny day, but it was cold. The middle of February, it’s always cold.
“Yeah, I think we could start there. We can warm ourselves up a bit, before doing anything else.”

Harry ordered them both hot chocolate and a pastry, without looking at the waiter. He couldn’t take his eyes off of Pansy, she looked so beautiful. With her cloak off, she wore a thick fuzzy royal blue sweater with an emerald pin just above her left breast. She had on a pair of skin tight jeans; they really looked like someone had painted them on her. Her pants were tucked into her black leather riding boots. For some unknown reason Harry loved it when she showed off her body.

When their order was sat down in front of them, Harry thanked the waiter, and then looked down towards the floor; he was trying to think of how to ask Pansy to be his. Harry looked up suddenly when Pansy put her hand on Harry’s arm.
“Harry is there something wrong?” Pansy truly thought something was wrong with Harry.
“No, nothing is wrong. I’m just a bit troubled about something, nothing bad.” he reassured her.
“Then you can tell me what is troubling you. It’s not too scary is it?”

Harry gave her a small smile. His face got too warm, and then he looked at Pansy, strait into her hazel eyes. “Pansy…” Harry swallowed hard. He always had a hard time asking these questions. “Will you be my…” He had to look down again, he couldn’t do it, and he was going to scare himself out of it. “Willyoubemygirlfriend?” Oh gods he did it just like he did with Cho Chang. He was just an idiot.

Pansy looked at Harry, with a look of shock mixed with a little humor. She would be happy to be is girlfriend, but he was going to ask one more time, she was going to make sure he did it slower this time. “What was that Harry? I’m not sure I heard what you said.”
Harry cleared his throat, “Pansy will you be my girlfriend?” There he said it. Now he was worried. She was going to say no, he just knew she would, so when he got ready for the terrible rejection, he almost fainted when heard her answer.
“Harry I would love to be your girlfriend.” she smiled at Harry. He looked like he was gong to pass out. Pansy leaned across the table and kissed Harry on the lips.

It took a few seconds for Harry to recover, but when he did, he returned the kiss to look almost obscene. It took a throat clearing behind him for him to remember that he was in public. It was the owner of the café. Harry looked almost embarrassed. “I think I need to cool of a bit, how about we hit the sweet shop.”
“I think that’s a great idea. You can buy me some of my favorites.”
“Right at this moment, I would buy you anything you wanted, no matter how much it cost.”
“Don’t think I won’t remember that Potter, because what I like usually runs in high price range.”

They walked out of the sweet shop with about five bags of nothing but sweets for her and Harry. Next they went to a gift shop; they had to shop for the others, for Valentines. After all, if it wasn’t for Draco and Ginny, Harry and Pansy wouldn’t be together now, and they bought Hermione something special too, because she was part of their little group.

“Are you ready for lunch?” Harry asked when his stomach gave a great growl. He was too busy trying not to die at the café that he forgot to eat his pastry.
“Yeah, I could use a bite to eat. It seems I forgot to eat my pastry. I was too busy being won over by the sweetest man I know.”

Harry smiled to himself, and then put his arm around her shoulder, just to show all the guys around that this beautiful creature was his. Later this night he was going to make her his, his way. He had it all planned out and ready for their return to Hogwarts. But right now they will enjoy lunch with their lovers.

Maybe some good sex next chapter, I just wanted some romance in this one. Tell me what you thought, because next to Ginny/Draco, I like Harry/ and any other besides Ginny.
