Eileen Snape
Eileen Snape lifted her head up off the floor only once she was sure her husband was gone. She was in so much pain and confusion. Tobias had lunged at her for no reason and beat her worse than he had in years. She struggled to her feet and limped across the room.
What had made him that mad? She didn't have a clue. It had to have something to do with Severus. When Severus had sent a letter a few years ago asking Eileen if she would join him for Christmas Tobias beat the living hell out of her. He hated Severus and would always hate Severus because of the fact he was a wizard.
She made her way slowly to a cabinet in the corner of the living room. It was where she kept her healing potions. Tobias hated having them in the house but it was too risky to send Eileen to the hospital.
At first Tobias didn't want her to take magical remedies for her bruises and breaks. He wanted them to be taken care of with muggle medicine. The first time he sent her to the hospital with a broken ankle they had asked too many questions. Severus was only been five at that time and Eileen couldn't risk 'child's rights' taking him out of the house because of the abuse.
Eileen dug around in the cabinet looking for her potions. She was shocked to see they had been removed. She slammed the doors shut and started to sob helplessly.
“I hate you,” she whispered dropping to the floor. “I hate you Tobias.”
She had no clue why she endured all the years of abuse. At first she had stayed with him for Severus. He needed a father even if it was a bad one. After her son had moved out she had stayed with Tobias. She guessed she had gotten used to the abuse.
Eileen brought her hand down and slammed it on the floor. It didn't really hurt. She had gotten used to pain. The action did however cause her to notice a small piece of paper lying on the living room floor. She hadn't seen that paper yesterday when she was cleaning.
The hurt woman leaned forward and picked up the letter. She noticed right away that it was from St. Mungo's. She raised an eyebrow and started to read it.
Dear Mr and Mrs Snape,
I was required to tell you that yesterday a young girl came in and tested positive with a pregnancy test. I have to tell you this because the name of the father is Severus Snape and he is unavailable for contact at this point. The young girl is claiming rape so the ministry and us are on the look out for Severus Snape. If you have any information please contact us or the ministry.

Eileen read the note a few times slowly taking it in. That was what had made Tobias so mad. The note mentioned Severus and his name always set Tobias off. Pregnant? Rape? Her son had raped a young girl and gotten her pregnant. How young was young?
With a little bit of effort Eileen pulled herself into a chair. A feeling of guilt washed over her. It was the same guilt she had felt when Severus had joined the death eaters and when Severus had killed Dumbledore. She didn't get beat for receiving a notice about Dumbledore's death because Tobias wasn't home. She had cried and cried when she got that note. Eileen realized that moment that she had raised a monster.
The note from St. Mungo's had confirmed that. She had raised a monster. No, Tobias had done that to him by being the cruel man he was. The only thing Eileen had done wrong was stay with that monster.
“I should have left him,” she said clutching the note. “I should have left him long ago. Servvie wouldn't be this monster if I had.”
She sat there crying so hard her eyes were starting to hurt. Suddenly an idea something struck her and she stopped her crying at once. All she had to do was pack her things and leave. Tobias was at work. He wouldn't know she was gone for many hours.
Eileen could leave and start her life anew. She knew that the order of the phoenix had gotten together. She had heard whispers of them. Perhaps if she proved she was trying to help they would let her join. She was scared that when they found Severus they would kill him. Perhaps if she was with them she could talk some sense into him. She might be able to talk him into coming quietly.
“I'm leaving,” she said out loud to the empty house.
Even though it was hard she pulled herself to her and Tobias' bedroom. She grabbed her overnight bag and stuffed it with as many clothes as she could. Even though it nearly killed her she walked down the hall to Severus' old room.
Tobias had thrown a large amount of his old things out when he had moved out but after Eileen had begged him he had allowed her to keep a few boxes. She opened the door to his room and found three boxes sitting on the floor. She went through the first two and found mostly books. It was in the third box that she found what was looking for. It was a large black teddy bear.
Eileen held the bear close to her as she walked out of the room and downstairs to the living room. She gave the room one last glance before stepping out of the front door.

Alrighty. Strange chapter I know but I wanted Snape's parents to be in this story as they are in very few stories.
