A Special Holiday Offer
The next week passed ever so slow for Draco. Harry was avoiding him, obviously just to torture him. So close to having the sexy raven-haired boy, so close! Draco roamed the halls at night trying to seek out Harry, but his attempts all failed, Harry was sneaking, very sneaky.
It was Friday afternoon during lunch that Draco finally cornered Harry. “Well, well, well. Looks like I found you after all, Potty.” He teased. Harry readjusted his book bag strap on his shoulder. “Sorry Draco, I don’t have time to fool around.” Harry was rolling in laughter on the inside, loving how Draco looked so helpless as he tormented him.
Draco’s voice lowered as he leaned into Harry’s lips. “Don’t make me beg Harry, please don’t make me beg.” Harry tried his best to hold back a laugh. I have him just where I want him. “Sorry Drakey, I got some stuff to deal with.” Harry pushed Draco forward removing himself from the blonde’s restraint. Draco rested his arm on the wall and hung his head as Harry walked away, releasing a sigh. “Damn you Harry.”
***
Draco slowly slumped himself down into his spot at the Slytherin table, beside Blaise Zabini. “Hey mate.” Zabini looked up from his lunch and smiled, swallowing the last bite.
“Hey mate, what’s up?”
Draco pulled his own plate forward and piled a sandwich onto it. “Just love struck is all.” Blaise shot him a sideways look. “And who is the lucky lady…?”
“Blaise, promise if I tell you this you won’t laugh…?” The other boy nodded with a confused look. “Yeah, mate, what is it?”
Draco’s eyes wandered over to Harry who was still sitting at the head of the Gryffindor table. Apparently Blaise followed his line of vision. “No way mate! You like…”
“Shut up!” Draco hissed. Blaise’s face twisted into an evil grin. “I can’t believe this!” Draco only nodded into defeat. “Blaise please don’t tell anyone.” Draco said in an almost begging tone.
“Don’t worry mate, your secret is safe with me.” With this being said Blaise ran his fingers over his lips pretending to zip them. Chatter filled the hall as all the students settled in for a much needed lunch.
“Excuse me students…” The Great Hall simmered down again and listened contently to what the Headmistress had to say.
“Well, here we are our last lunch before school is dismissed for the winter holidays. As I was saying a week ago, the students that had signed up to stay at Hogwarts for the holidays will be able to enter into a fun little event that we have planned. The parchment with the names of the students has been removed from outside my office and will be participating. The students who aren’t may resume the holidays as you wish.” The hall filled with whispers and murmurs.
“Now, I would like to say with great pleasure that I’m giving the rest of the day off to the entire school.” The hall rang with happy cheers and applause.
“The students who are taking place in the event will need to go to Hogsmead and pick yourselves out some nice dress robes; you will be attending a grand ball tomorrow evening.” The cheers tuned down to whispers of shock. “The other students may just relax until you depart tomorrow morning. With this being said, enjoy your lunch and Happy Holidays to you all!” The Headmistress sat back in her chair and turned to converse with a teacher beside her.
***
As the Great Hall emptied after lunch, many students cheered and headed to their common rooms to grab their jackets and money, to head to Hogsmead.
Blaise turned to Draco as they hopped down the stairs to the Slytherin common room. “So, who are you going to the ball with?” Draco rolled his eyes and laughed. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“Oh come one Drake, are you going to ask him?” Blaise pleaded. Draco stopped short. “He already agreed to enter the contest with me. I asked him the other day after breakfast. We’ll just take it from there.”
Blaise chuckled, “Well Draco, you’re pretty smooth.” The blonde smiled and held his arm out to stop Blaise. “There’s Harry, I’ll meet you in the common room.” Blaise smiled and walked off, whistling into the air causing Draco to grin.
Harry pulled his book bag up higher on his shoulder and walked out of the Great Hall, rolling up a piece of parchment and tucking it into his back pocket. Draco snuck up behind him and snatched it from behind him. “Hey Potty?”
Harry turned around and saw Draco holding his parchment; he smiled and moved toward the other boy. “Draco, give it back.” Draco smiled broadly, seductively moving backwards behind the statue he pinned Harry to a week before. “Make me.” Harry rolled his eyes. Man he’s sexy. “Draco, you know I can get it back in a matter of seconds.” Draco rolled his eyes and laughed. Harry moved into Draco, pressing his body against the blonde’s, Draco moaned. “Mmm, Harry, naughty boy.”
Harry moved his lips to Draco, stopping just before they touched, breathing heavily into Draco’s mouth. “Oh Draco, you’re so simple minded.” Draco closed his eyes and smiled. “Come on Harry; finish what you started with me the other night in the bath.”
Harry lowered his voice into a seductive whisper, making Draco’s shiver with pleasure, still pressed against him. “Oh, Draco… You want me to suck on your cock? Nibble on your head, running my hot mouth along its length…” Draco could feel himself getting hard thinking about what the other boy was teasing. Harry slid his hand down Draco’s chest, his hips lurching forward into the blonde, finally resting his hand over Draco’s hardened member. “Oh, Harry, don’t tease me.” Draco’s arms dropped to his side.
Harry’s hands moved up the blonde’s thighs, stroking his forearms, wrapping his fingers around the parchment that now loosely hung in Draco’s hand. “Thanks.” And with this Harry pulled the parchment into his own hand, softly kissing Draco on the cheek and trudged off, blowing a kiss through the air back at him.
Draco groaned, dropping his head in defeat.
***
Harry climbed in through the portrait of the fat lady, face to face with Dean. “Oh, hey Dean.” Dean’s eyes seemed to cut into Harry like knives. “Hi.” Not taking a second for Harry to say another word Dean pushed passed, knocking the raven-haired boy sideways.
Wow, I wonder what got into him. Harry fixed his robes and walked to the dormitory door, pulling it open and walking inside. The room was empty, so Harry walked over to his bed. A small piece of parchment laid on top of his blanket. Harry slowly picked it up and unfolded it, not having a single clue who it could be from, seeing no one but Draco seemed to be talking to him.
Harry,
I realize that I was a complete git talking about Draco’s mother the way I did. It’s just that after seven years of tormenting its hard to let go of those kind of things. I know that it struck home with you, seeing you have lost both your parents and I would never wish the pain I’ve seen you go through, on my worst enemy. I obviously don’t know what you two may be feeling, but if you and Draco have put all this rubbish behind you I would like to as well. I don’t want to lose you as a friend, you had every right to say what you did about me and Hermione. Please give me another chance.
Ron.
Harry was taken aback; his mind couldn’t comprehend what he had just read. Grabbing his bag of money from his night stand he threw his jacket over his shoulder and rushed from the room. Once into the main dormitory he saw Seamus sitting on the couch next to the fire, playing chess with Neville.
“Seamus! Where’s Ron?!” Harry shouted. Both boys’ heads turned to look at Harry. “He went home early for the holidays mate, seeing we got the day off. Him and Hermione were heading to Hogsmead to apparate to his house.” Shit! Harry turned on his heel and quickly ran from the room, nearly busting through the portrait that hid their common room.
Harry pushed his legs as fast as they would let him go. His unkempt air tossed angrily as he ran. Pushing some people out of the way, Harry was determined to get to Ron before he left; he had to tell Ron how he felt. The halls were filled with students preparing to go to Hogsmead for the day.
“Move! Please get out of the way!” Harry shouted, panting now as he jumped down the steps two at a time, his book bag dropping to the floor. “Harry you dropped your bag!” He didn’t have time. When he reached the large oak doors he pushed them open, his face red from and out of breath. He could see Ron and Hermione disappearing down the grounds. “Ron!” He yelled at the top of his voice.
Harry ran through the large doors, the cold wind whipped against his face, burning his eyes, making tears form. “Ron! Wait!”
His two friends had just made it out of the school grounds and had each other in their arms.
~
“Ready love?” Ron asked as he brushed Hermione’s hair from her face. “Yup.” She smiled back.
Ron kissed her forehead. “On three, one, two, three.” And with a ‘pop’ they both slipped away into darkness.
~
Harry slowed himself to a jog hearing the noise of the two disappearing. “Fuck!” His chest rose and fell with sharp pains from the cold winter’s air. He wiped his forehead with his arm, which was red from the frozen air around him, his breath visible with each exhale.
Harry slowly turned back around in defeat, not realizing how far he had made it from the school. The reality of it being November thirty first really sunk in. The harsh wind slapped Harry’s body, his arms folded together to stay warm as he trudged back to the castle. His eyes scrunched closed trying to protect them from the cold whipping gusts.
“Hey, Harry, you dropped your book bag, and jacket.”
Harry opened his eyes and saw Draco standing in front of him, his book bag and jacket draped over his arm. The blonde was bundled tight into a thick jacket a gloves. Harry smiled and took the jacket, pulling it on around his shoulders, gripping it tight around his neck, taking his book bag with his other hand. “Thanks Draco.” The blonde only smiled and nodded. “So, want to go shopping for our robes?”
Harry laughed. “I’m not going to that stupid ball.” Draco stepped in front of Harry, causing the raven-haired boy to lurch backwards. “Harry, I thought you would do that… You said you would come with me, and I thought you would back out, so I signed you up.”
That’s what I agreed to! “Oh, I guess you know me better than I thought.” He laughed nervously.
***
Draco and Harry spent the entire rest of the day in Hogsmead searching for dress robes. Harry’s mind was still on Ron’s letter though, until under the cover of the Three Broomsticks bathroom Draco kissed him. His whole body became weak, loving the feeling of Draco so much. He knew it felt right, but he tried to deny it, by breaking the kiss. “Draco, I know that this feels… Well, good. But it’s not me.”
Draco shook his head in disappointment. “So your going to let what other people think about you, ruin something that could e so much more.” Harry closed his eyes as Draco ran his fingers seductively down his chest, depositing his hands to the insides of Harry’s pants. “Draco… Oh…” Harry leaned his head back giving Draco room to kiss his collar bone, playfully teasing him inside his pants.
Harry’s body shuddered as Draco massaged his cock. Playing with it in his warm hands, still confined to his trousers. “Draco please…” Harry moaned again, Draco’s lips pressed tightly against his own. “Come to the ball with me Harry.” Harry moaned softly, resting his hands on the blonde’s chest. “Who else would I go with dumb ass; I thought we already talked about this.”
Draco pulled his hand from Harry’s pants and brushed his thumb across the other boy’s jaw line. He whispered into his ear. “I mean as my date.”
