Chapter 8 - Sleeping Partners

\"Ms. Granger... Hello?... Ms. Granger!\" Hermione opened one eye,
trying to see what the problem was. Not seeing anyone she rolled
over and closed her eye again.
\"MS GRANGER!!\" That woke her up. Opening both eyes this time she
blinked against the bright light coming in the windows. Three figures
were silhouetted in the sunlight. She tried to lean up a bit but a
warm, pleasant weight was weighing her down. She turned to see what
it was.
Draco! Oh shit….\' Was all that went through her mind. \'He must have
found me last night. He could have woken me up. Prat.\' She thought
as she scolded him along with herself.
\"Ms. Granger! Are you awake yet?\" She knew that voice. That was
the voice that haunted the potions classroom. She eyes widened to
the size of a galleon.
\"Yes Professor...\" Her voice was kind of meek. \"Who else is with
you, the sun is making it so that I can\'t see who\'s who.\" She
squinted just to prove her point.
\"Professor McGonagall and Filtch. Now would you please stand up! You
and Mr. Malfoy have a meeting with the Headmaster to attend.\"
Hermione groaned. This was not a good way to wake up.
\"Draco. Draco!\" She finally just shoved him off her. He rolled
over and didn\'t even open an eye. She watched him for a few seconds,
when, to her amusement. He rolled back towards her, trying to wrap
his arms around her. She gave a tiny smile and then realized that
they were still being watched.
\"Ugg!\" She groaned, knowing he wouldn\'t awake by her shoving him she
tried one thing that always worked on Harry and Ron. She took her
finger and flicked him in the head, very hard. A childish way but it
made a satisfying clunk noise.
\"Bloody hell.\" Draco\'s eyes slowly opened to see Hermione.
\"Well, hello, Granger.\" He said with a smile not noticing the
audience.
\"Well, hello Mr. Malfoy.\" Draco\'s eyes widened and turned to see Snape, who
really one should never see when just waking up.
Draco was up on his feet quicker than the day before when Sanpe
caught them on the floor. He pulled Hermione up with him, being the courteous
man he was.
\"Now.\" McGonagall started \"I would ask what you two were doing down
there but you have an appointment with Professor Dumbledore. Now go.\"
She soon as she said her last words Draco and Hermione scattered out
of the room going as quickly as there legs would take them.
They didn\'t talk on the way to Dumbledore\'s office, mostly because they
didn’t know what exactly to say.
The circular staircase was already open for them when the arrived at the
office. Gulping they glanced at each other and then up the stairs.
Walking side by side they quickly made their way up the winding staircase.
“Please take a seat. This is a very strange situation, is it not. Two of
our students, as different as light and dark, caught sleeping together. Who
wants to explain what is going on?” The Headmasters eyes twinkled softly
at the two.
“Well you see sir. We had just gotten out of a rather embarrassing potions
detention. I was leaving and Pansy Parkinson attacked me. Malfoy here
pulled her off and I ran into that spare classroom. I fell asleep and the
next thing I know Snape is waking me up and Malfoy was asleep next to me.”
Trust Hermione to be truthful and blunt. Well she didn\'t want to say he was sleeping on her because then it would sound a bit sexual and she wanted to stay far away from that subject with Dumbledore.
“I see. For your breaking of school rules, two days detention with your
heads of house. Pansy will be dealt with as soon as I can get her into this
office. Please be more careful next time. Good Day!”
They stood, said their goodbyes and left the room as fast as possible.
Hermione turned up the hall that lead to Gryffindor Tower and began to walk
away from him. That just wouldn’t do now would it? Grabbing her arm Draco
pulled her back and softly pressed his lips to hers. “Good Morning
beautiful.” Without another word he walked away, a skip to his step and a
grin on his face.

Authors Note: This was a joint chapter. I (Lia) was NOT feeling it. Tonya
spiced up the middle and I finished the end. I don’t know why but this
chapter just.. didnt want to happen for me! I hate it when that happens!
