The Breakdown

Seamus simply smirked at Harry, who was growing increasingly worried by the look on the Gryffindor's face.

"I said, what the fuck are you talking about Seamus," Harry said, taking a step towards the boy, clutching his wand tightly in his hand, though not really sure what he was planning on doing to the boy.

"I was simply curious if you plan on using Draco, I mean, did you get the information out of him like you were supposed to?" Seamus asked, bitterness and slight vindication ringing in the boys tone, causing the silence that followed to be a tad more then simply tense.

"How did you? What do you know?" Harry asked startled that the plan they had worked so hard to keep secret had been let out.

"I overheard you talking in the library, I figured you didn't really love him, I mean I thought maybe if it was just... you were using him for sex or something, I could have dealt with that, but the fact that there is nothing involved and your just... using him? Unacceptable Mr. Potter," Seamus ranted, and Harry simply stared.

"Seamus, what the hell are you talking about?" Harry asked, positively confused on the boys ranting.

"Of course you wouldn't notice!" Seamus immediately became angry and spat out, "No one ever notices me, little old Irish boy in the corner, why pay attention to him? He doesn't do anything special, he isn't worth anything really, has no real talents. Just the boy who sleeps in my dorm? Is that all I really am to you Harry? You've never even noticed the lustful looks I give you? The fact I wake up moaning your name? None of it? To busy caught up in scheming, shattering my dreams. Ignoring the Irish boy!"

Harry blinked and looked at the boy in front of him, listening to the slight Irish lit, and the truth that rang in every word, and sent a pang of guilt down his spine. "No, Seamus, I never... I mean, I didn't think of you as nothing, I'm sorry I didn't notice, I mean you never said anything..."

Seamus seemed to turn even more bitter at this comment, "Oh yes, and what would you have done if I had? Slept with me? Used me the way your using Draco? Look Harry, if I can't have you, no one can and that is the way it's going to work. I was planning on braking you and that git Malfoy up, now I have the perfect way to do it."

Harry panicked, he couldn't loose Draco now, and not that he cared... He just was finally getting to the information that was important to the Order, finally avenging Sirius', Cedric's and his parent's death. ('That's such a lie' a mind in the back of Harry's voice said, he hastily pushed it aside)
"Seamus, please... don't tell him, I'll, do anything you want, please, don't tell him." Harry pleaded with the mad Irish boy in front of him, who seemed to get an evil glint in his eyes that made Harry regret his words almost the moment he said them.

"Oh anything I want? I want you tied to a bed a withering under me, Harry James Potter. That's what I want." Seamus said, his eyes scanning Harry's body lustily.

Harry looked at him, blinked then made the single stupidest decision he had ever made in his life, "Okay, not like I care about cheating on Malfoy anyway."

They sealed the deal with a kiss, and Harry ran from the common room, feeling more guilty then he ever had in his entire life.

He went to find Draco, knowing that the boy's arms would some how make this all go away. Even if he was the one Harry was doing this too.

Harry reached the Slytherin portrait hole, only to be told by Blaise that Draco wasn't there. Harry thanked him and went to find Draco in one of his normal haunts.

By the time he had checked the kitchens, the grounds, the little abandon classroom they used for their after dinner kisses, it was nearly lunch. Harry figured he would be at the table, so he climbed the stairs and made his way to the Great Hall.

Much to Harry's surprise, Draco didn't show up at lunch, and that worried Harry. He left his friends and proceeded to look for Draco once again, this time checking the Library, the Astronomy Tower (Draco always complemented the view) the Owlery and finally checked back at the common room.

Just as Harry was about to give up, he noticed a tiny, inconspicuous door, which wasn't normally there. This happened to be a door that entered into the Room of Requirement and Harry had a pretty good guess to who was in the room.

Harry knocked quietly on the door, and heard no response from the inside, so he opened the door, expecting to see Draco asleep in the large four-poster bed.

Instead, Harry heard a muffled sobbing and sniffling into the pillows that surrounded the blonde boy on the bed. A fire was roaring and there was a bottle of Firewhiskey sitting next to the bed, drained over an hour ago, but was probably still in effect.

"Oh God, Draco." Harry said rushing over to the bed, taking the boy up into his arms, the normally brilliant Grey eyes were dull and full of tears. Harry had never seen Draco this broken before, and to be honest, it scared him.

"Harry?" Draco slurred, then hiccupped and buried his head into Harry's chest. "I can't do this anymore, I can't do it! I'm tired of trying to please my Father, I'm sick of trying to get him to let me back into the family... I don't want my mother drinking and I don't want any of this to happen, I don't want war, Harry. I'm not becoming a Death Eater."

Harry just rubbed soothing circles on Draco's back, doing the best he could to calm to boy down, not really sure what he could say to soothe the boy currently breaking down in his arms.

" Harry, I love you, and Dad... he, he can't accept that, he truly can't and it makes me so mad Harry. He has known it since I was 11 and then he blamed my crush on Mom drinking. But it wasn't me Harry! It wasn't you either! She was most sober when I was talking about how much I liked you, and I loved that. Dad was upset cause of you... and He was determined to get you killed so I would marry Pansy, but I didn't want to marry her." Draco said, sniffling, "I've been getting horrible letters from my Dad, he keeps telling me I should ask you about stuff from the order, you know? Find out what there planning gain your trust then tell him everything so he can report it all to Voldemort. I couldn't do that to you, I would feel awful."

Harry felt a very sharp, and sudden pang of guilt. He couldn't help it, even if... no, he couldn't be actually falling in love with this boy. It wasn't possible, it couldn't be. He was Malfoy, the one who had made him miserable for almost 7 years. This was strictly business and that was that.

Then why the hell did he have the most horrible bit of guilt he had ever had in his life? Why couldn't he help but think about the boy's well being and the fact that he shouldn't have to take all of this? Why was it that, even though this was "strictly business" he felt he need to make him feel better.

With Draco Malfoy's true and druken confession's, Harry Potter realized that this was no longer about the order and sneaking things from the blonde.

This was about true love, and the truth of the love was, Harry was in love with Draco.

Having come to the conclusion he realized quite dully he should have come to a long time ago, Harry scooped the boy up in his arms and wished for a glass of water and some pepper up potion. Both were on the bed beside him instantly.

"Here love, take this." Harry said, coaxing the boy into taking the medicated potion and drinking the water. Harry laughed as steam came out of the boy's ears.

"Stop laughing you twit, you realize I am going to have the worst hang over in the morning?" Draco said, clutching his head and moaning softly.

"Ahhh, I was only helping Draky, I mean really... don't get so defensive." Harry said, and pouted, then giggled when Draco slapped him rather harshly on the arm.

"Don't call me Draky and I wasn't being defensive!" Draco burst out, and then clutched his head moaning once again in pain.

"Hey Draco, can I take you some place?" Harry asked suddenly, realizing that this would be the perfect opportunity to show him the secret place.

"Why, of course Harry." Draco said, sounding a little surprised, but pleased all the same.

"I just have to be back by 8 sharp okay?" Harry said, helping the boy stand up, and then walking him to the door.

"Yes, of course, what for?" Draco asked, taking Harry's hand, emotional breakdown seemingly forgotten.

"Plans with Hermione and Ron." Harry lied, and then proceeded to make his way towards the grounds.
