Notes:
Again, still don\'t own anything.
SS/HP.

*Krystal: yeah, I so totally had my thought’s in italics but they got murdered when I transferred the story, so whatever. I just figured that if it’s in “” it should be taken as dialogue if its not, it’s not! I mean, that’s how real stories are anyway. As for the grammar all I can say is AHHH! It’s just funny how some mistakes don’t pop out until, it’s too late! Well I’ll fix them sooner or later. Thanks.

Chapter 8: Secrets are told

When Harry woke the next morning there was a note from Severus waiting for him:

Harry,

Sorry I couldn’t see you off not that you are going very far. Don’t worry about Granger or Weasely, or any of the other Griffindors. In fact Bugger the whole school. I had to run errands for Dumbledore in case you were wondering, not that it was any of your damn business, insolent Gryffindor! However, stay strong, and I’ll make sure to push ‘the bitch’ as you so eloquently call her, to the limits in Potions on Monday It’s Sunday so I’ll be pretty busy but after dinner, if you’d like, you may come and have tea with me. I’ll make sure the chair you “love” is around, Yes I remembered. Don’t worry I’d never get rid of it; that chair has been with me for years.
Regards,
S. Snape.

Harry smiled. Snape worried about him, and was going to give Hermione a hard time. Things were great!

After his shower, Harry strode into the Great Hall for lunch.

Harry was gnawing on some ribs as his two ex-best friends at down at the Gryffindor table.

“Potter.” Hermione smiled.

“Granger.” Harry spat.

“So I hear little Harry’s got a crush on Professor Snape,” Neville cried as he sat down, “P-P- P-Perhaps he developed the crush when he saw him in my grandmother’s clothes”

All of Gryffindor table burst into laughter, except Harry of course.

RON! THE TRAITOR! Is all Harry could think.

“Oh that’s a good one mate.” Seamus patted Neville in the back.

“Or maybe it was the way Snape handled Harry’s snake during Second Year that did the trick.” Dean piped in, winking.

More laughing.

“Or perhaps,” Hermione sneered evilly at Harry, “It’s because Harry is just…a….FREAK.”

more laughing.

“Even by Wizarding standards.” she added smoothly.

Harry left the table, as the Griffindors continued to laugh. On his way out, he noticed some Slytherins, mostly Malfoy, laughing and pointing at him; but then again he really couldn’t tell his vision was blurry and eyes full of tears.

Harry ran to the ROR, he hadn’t asked for his typical shinny object room with daggers and swords, but instead only for a dagger, a quill and a piece of parchment.

It took him a while, but on the parchment he wrote:

To Whom It May Concern: (Probably Filch, as he will most likely be the one finding this mess)

First of all, sorry for causing such a mess for you, but It’s the last mess I’ll make.

Second, sorry I ever caused so much trouble for you.

Third. I know there are rumors that I love, like, have a crush on Professor Snape. And those are true. I do. I love, like and have a crush on him. I hope he knows the reasons. I cannot bare to right them down.

Fourth. I’m sorry my friends cannot except that I am gay. It hurts me, because I thought we had unconditional love for each other. But I still love them. They are the only family I’ve ever known. I’m sorry it had to end this way. I didn’t mean to hurt them. To disappoint them.

Fifth. I’m sorry to anyone who is disappointed in me.

Sixth. I could have never defeated Voldemort on my own. It would have taken Ron and Hermione too, and without them I am nothing, I need others too, that are still in my life, but I also need R and H, and it just won’t work without them. I’m too weak. As you can tell.

Seventh. I’m really sorry to Everyone who cared about Cedric Sirius . I never meant to hurt anyone.

Sincerely,

H.J. Potter (I don’t deserve my name.)

He sighed as he read his paper over, and was satisfied. He grabbed his dagger, and sliced his, his wrists (down, along the veins), the back of his legs. Moments later he fell backwards; unconscious.

It was almost dinner time and Snape growled, he had to finish these essays by Monday! Okay, so he knew he didn’t really HAVE TO, but it was better to, for both his, and his bloody student’s sakes.

There was a knock on his door. “What?…come in.” Damn it Potter I said after dinner not before.

He was about to reprimand Potter when a very different boy came in, Malfoy.

“Hey Professor.”

“Malfoy.”

Draco sat upon Severus’ desk. “So guess what I heard today.”

“What?” Sev sighed.

“I heard that Potter, Harry-Bloody-Potter, has a crush, on YOU!”

Severus let his mouth hang, “WH-what?”

“Yeah, I guess supposedly, he told Weasely and then I guess they had a fight, and so Weasely blabbed his big old mouth, and it’s all over the school. It was so hilarious at lunch today, Potter ran out balling like a baby!” Draco giggled.

“Hmm. That’s interesting Draco, but I don’t really believe it. I’m sure Weasely was just trying to get back at Potter for some inane thing he did to him. Now please, if you will, I must get back to work.”

“Aww, your no fun.” Draco pouted.

“Now Draco. Or I won’t tuck you in anymore.”

Draco scurried out the door, still pouting.

As soon as Draco left, Severus went to the couch where Harry had slept and found one of Harry’s stray hairs; using it he cast a search spell; finally it located Harry.

Severus raced to the ROR, he knew that what ever Harry had wanted at the time would have been given to him. He barged in through the door. And screamed, he hadn’t screamed in as long as he could remember, at the sight. A young boy lay in his own blood, a piece of parchment on his stomach.

Severus rushed over to Harry and gently lifted him. “Harry?” He whispered.

There was no answer. Severus felt for a very very faint pulse, and knew he might be able to save him. He began to heal the wounds with a spell, so Harry wouldn’t loose anymore blood.

Once the wounds were closed, he picked Harry up and carrying him over his shoulder, he dashed over to his rooms.

He lay Harry on his couch, and immediately grabbed several potions. The potions included, nutrition potions, blood replenishing potions, a calming potion, more of the sorts. He slowly administered the potions to the boy, starting with the blood replenishing potion.

Several long, exhausting hours later, Severus found himself sitting on the old, worn-out ‘comfortable’ chair that Harry had been so found of. He was just staring at the small, young figure, and felt himself wanting to cry, and so worried two emotions he had not felt in so very long. He flooed Dumbledore and told him what happened.

Severus was dozing off, when he heard a noise coming from the couch.

It was nearing midnight, and he watched as the boy fluttering his eyes open.

“I know I told you to visit me after dinner Harry. But this. Is not what I had in mind.”

Harry looked over, realizing where he was, and a tear rolled down his cheek, “I’m so sorry.” More tears.

Sev walked over and sat at the foot of the couch, he shook his head, “I..Tell me what happened, Harry.”

“They….They all made fun of me, because…because.” Harry recalled the reason why and blushed, he couldn’t tell Snape.

But Snape understood, “Does this have to do with ‘a crush?’”

Harry nodded.

“I see.”

“I thought Ron, I thought, I never thought he’d blurt out my secret.” Harry cried, and Severus slowly lifted Harry into his arms. “Severus?”

“Hm.” Sev embraced the boy.

“I…It’s you. You know? I love you.” Harry buried his head under Sev’s chin.

“Harry.” Sev whined.

“I…I do. I love you.”

“You don’t know what your saying, Harry.”

“I do.” Harry cried, and pounded his fist into Sev’s chest.

Severus only squeezed Harry tight in response.

It didn’t take long for both men to fall asleep.
