Forbidden

Chapter 8.

They arrived at the Feast and sat down, Ginny choosing to sit opposite Harry, so she wouldn't have to look at Ron. She also noticed that Draco chose a seat directly opposite her and they could see each other across the room. She decided not to wave and cause a riot. She saw Pansy, who had a face like a pug, settle herself next to him. He did not look happy about this. Ginny smiled at herself as she remembered how Pansy had followed him around since she could remember.

They watched the sorting and ate their dinner, Ginny keeping her eyes on Draco, as Harry was talking to her, as if nothing had happened. Ginny innocently asked

"Harry what is the new password?" Harry was a prefect this year, as were Hermione and Ron.

"Troll bogies" Harry said without thinking, "Wait a minute, why?"

"I'm going for a stroll, I'm not in the mood to listen to Ron yell all night, Ill see you later" and she darted away before Harry could reply.

"I'll come with you—" he muttered, the words spoken to her back. "Guess not then." He shrugged and followed Ron and Hermione to the dorms.
