Chapter 8
A/N: I own nothing, it all belongs to J.K., except for the challenge, that belongs to Dahlias. I am making no money from this, I do it for my own pleasure.

Chapter 8
The Weasleys had been at Snape Manor for five days, the first three had been stressful for everyone. Ron and Draco had butted heads constantly. By day four, Harry had enough and had told them to either get along or he would lock them in a closet together.
Ginny had fallen in lwithwith Serena immediately, and it only took two days for Ron to fall for her. There was rarely a time when she was awake that she didn’t have the undivided attention of everyone in the house. Now that the arguments between Draco and Ron had stopped, things were settling down. Molly had just called them to lunch, Ginny had gone ahead with Ron and Serena. Draco stopped Harry in the hallway outside the dining room.
“Harry, I-I-I’m sorry for fighting with Weasley,” he said, his eyes downcast. “I know that it was hard for you, when we were fighting. You and I have been working hard at getting along, and I should have just tried to do the same with him.”
Harry smiled. “I didn’t expect the two of you to get along right away. I’ve already told Ron that we’ve built a sort of friendship and that he needs to try to do the same. We were all on the same side of the war, and there is no reason for us to continue this petty rivalry.”
Draco put his arm around Harry’s shoulder. “I just have to let you know that I think that what I feel is more than friendship.” He kissed Harry on the cheek and went into the dining room.
Harry stood in the hallway with his fingers touching the place that Draco had kissed. He didn’t move until Molly came out looking for him. “Harry dear, come and eat lunch,” she told him. She took his arm and led him into the dining room where the rest of the group was already eating.
The group in Godrics Hollow were almost finished, they had repaired the house, and had set the wards. All that was left was for them to transfigure stones into things for the house.
“Now that we are almost finished, we must figure out who is going to stay with Harry in his new home,” Severus said.
The group began furnishing the house with transfigured rocks, Bill followed and sealed the spells so that they wouldn’t come undone with a simple ‘finite incantatem’. When they had finished, they apperated back to the beginning of the wards on Snape Manor.
Molly had made a feast for dinner, Severus piled seconds on his plate, wondering what the incredible woman had made for dessert. He watched as she badgered all of her children, Harry and Draco to eat more. He jumped as he watched the ghost of Arthur Weasley float through the wall behind her.
“You must get out of here,” the ghost told them. “The remaining Death Eaters are on their way here, they have already almost completely destroyed the Burrow.”
Molly shrieked and td tod toward the ghost. “Arthur?”
“Yes Molly, I have been watching over you. I only have a few months left, before I will be joining James and Lily. They have come to me and asked me to watch out for all of you until you are safe,” he answered. All of the Weasley children looked on in shock, tears pooling in their eyes.
Harry watched Arthur Weasley, the man that was like a father to him for the past six years. Arthur turned toward him, “Harry, you must understand that you are not responsible for my death. I hurts me to see you suffering and blaming yourself for something that would have happened anyway.” He floated over and put his shimmering hand on Harry’s shoulder. “It was my time to go, I have come to terms with that. You must go on, you have a very long and happy life ahead of you.”
Tears rolled down Harry’s cheeks. “Mr. Weasley, I’m sorry.”
“You have nothing to be sorry for. You risked your life to protect the Wizarding World, and my family in particular. Be happy, your parents would be so disappointed if you weren’t.” He floated above the table and looked at his family. “Severus, Sirius, Remus, get them out of here and to somewhere safe. I’ll find you, but they are on their way here. You only have about thirty minutes until they break through the wards.”
Everyone at the table jumped up to collect their things. Within twenty minutes, they were all assembled in the sitting room ready to go. Severus held out a large tray, “Everyone grab on, this will take us somewhere safe.”
They all touched the tray and with a pop, they all disappeared.
