Chapter 8: Secret Affair?

Chapter 8: Secret affair?

Sarah walked down into the common room dressed in her school uniform and carrying her book bag. She looked around the common room for Draco, but he wasn’t there. Actually during the past few weeks Sarah hadn’t seen much of Draco at all. There was something wrong with him. He never left her alone before.
Sarah left the common room and walked towards the great hall. She hoped that Draco would be there so she could have a little chat with him. She walked into the hall and saw him sitting at the Slytherin table. She walked up to him and sat down.
“Hey Draco.” Sarah kissed his cheek.
“Hi.” Draco said with a dull tone. Sarah looked at his face.
“D is there something wrong? You don’t look to good.”
“No there’s nothing wrong.” Draco shook his head. “Just tired.”
“Oh ok.” Sarah looked up and saw Pansy walk over to the table with the biggest most stupid smile on her face. She strutted as she walked and sat down opposite Sarah and Draco. Pansy had begun to annoy Sarah a lot over the past couple of weeks. But Sarah tired not to show it, not wanting to cause a fight. “You look very cheerful this morning Pansy. What is the reason?” Sarah asked.
“Oh.” Pansy let out a fake sigh of happiness. “I’ll tell you later.”
“Alright.” Sarah looked at Draco. He wasn’t looking up, he was actually staring at his hands. “D?”
“Yeah!” Draco shot his head up. Sarah laughed at him and began to eat her breakfast.

It was just the start of lunch. Sarah was leaving her Dark arts class when the girls stopped her.
“Sarah.” Pansy called. Sarah turned around and looked at the girl that’s been following here for weeks.
“Hello Pansy.” Sarah said with a fake smile. Sarah looked at all the girls and smiled.
“Come with me.” Pansy pulled Sarah into an empty classroom a few doors down. Sarah wondered what on earth Pansy was doing. “Close the door!” Pansy snapped. Rose turned around and closed the door behind everyone.
“So what’s going on?” Sarah asked, looking around for answers. Every girl but Pansy shrugged or shook their head.
“Sarah I have some bad news for you.” Pansy out on a frown.
“What is it?” Sarah began to worry.
“It’s Draco.” Pansy paused for a moment. “He has been cheating on you.”
“No.” Sarah shook her head.
“Its true Sarah.”
“He said he wouldn’t.” Sarah felt her hear break in to two. “Who with?”
“Me.” Pansy smirked. The girls gasped.
“YOU?!” Sarah pointed her finger at Pansy. “Who the fuck wants to fuck you?”
“Your boyfriend.” Pansy crossed her arms. Sarah walked closer to the ugly girl, feeling her eyes well up with tears.
“Fuck you Pansy.” Sarah raised her hand and slapped her across the face extremely hard. Pansy fell to the ground with a cry. “YOU FUCKING UGLY SLUT!” Sarah screamed and ran out of the room. The tears began to stream down her face. The pain she felt in her heart was excruciating. Why did Draco have to do this to her? She told him not to! She didn’t want to be hurt again. Now she knew why Draco was so pale and quiet lately. He was guilty.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pansy sat up on the ground holding her inflamed cheek, getting glares from the girls.
“Help me up!” Pansy ordered.
“No!” Carmen shouted.
“Pansy that was horrible.” Laura protested.
“Sarah is a really nice girl. I can’t believe that you would do this to her!” Carmen stepped forward. “You are a ugly slut.” Carmen turned around and left. Laura followed. Rose, Anna and Amy stayed behind for a few more seconds.
“Bye Pansy.” They said and walked out of the class room.
“BITCHES!!” Pansy screamed.
Sarah sobbed and she ran through the hallways trying to get outside. She needed air. She couldn’t breath and she was feeling sick. She just needed to take in some fresh air. She ran and ran. She looked down at the ground as she ran not wanting anyone to see her tears.
Sarah ran and then felt something graze her shoulder nearly knocking her over but she still kept running, just leaving some books on the ground. She ran out into the fresh air and gasped trying to fill her lungs with air. She ran over to the oak tree and sat down. She was quiet for two seconds then burst out in screams and tears.
“Why? Why? WHY?! WHY?!” She screamed. “I HATE YOU MALFOY!” Sarah laid down on the grass and sobbed the pain she gained from her broken heart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ron Harry and Hermione stood in the hallway. Ron rubbed his right arm, just after Sarah had ran into him.
“That was Sarah wasn’t it?” Hermione watched as Sarah ran away.
“Yeah.” Ron hissed with a little bit of pain.
“She looked upset.” Harry acknowledged.
“She did.” Hermione agreed.
“Hey guys go ahead I’ll catch up with you.” Ron bent down and picked up Sarah’s books.
“But Ron you never miss lunch.” Harry shouted.
“I know.” Ron kept walking way. He waked out guessing that Sarah had run out there.

Sarah still sobbed. She wasn’t able to stop. She could hear faint footsteps coming up behind her.
“Sarah?” A familiar voice whispered softly. Sarah looked up and saw Ron. Ron looked down at Sarah’s tear stricken face. “What’s wrong?” he sat down next to Sarah. Sarah sat up and wiped her eyes.
“Draco.” She murmured.
“What did he do?”
“He cheated on me.” Sarah cried again.
“Draco’s a bad egg Sarah. There’s nothing you can do about that.” Ron put a hand on Sarah’s shoulde“But“But.” Sarah threw her arms around Ron and sobbed. Ron hesitated for a moment then put his arms around her.
“Sarah he’s not worth crying over. He’s nothing. You’ll find something better.” Ron comforted. Sarah didn’t want to find anyone else. She loved Draco. Sarah realised what she was doing and stopped crying.
“I’m sorry.” Sarah pushed herself away from him.
“It’s ok.” Ron smiled.
“Anyway thank you for coming. I never expected you to come out here.”
“Well it was pretty hard not to see you run off after you ran into me.” Ron touched his arm.
“Oh I’m sorry about that.” Sarah apologised.
“Don’t worry. I’m fine.” Ron reached next to him and gave Sarah her books. “I picked them up.”
“Thanks.” Sarah put the books in her bag. “You should be off to class. You don’t want to get in trouble.” Sarah pulled her knees up to her chest.
“No. There are more important things then divination.” Ron mumbled. Sarah looked up at him.
“If you like.” Sarah just shrugged. Ron put one arm around her shoulders. Sarah just sat there quietly watching the water ripple.
