Payback and Other Shocks
I'm sorry for taking so long with this chapter. I have been working on a couple of other stories for the Dusk-Till-Dawn FQF. I'm also being truly evil with this *short* chapter! Hehehe You'll see when you get to the end! The ninth and final chapter I hope to have up either later today, or tomorrow. Hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I have writing it! :D

The first face Severus saw belonged to Albus Dumbledore. The old wizard was just raising a spoon to his mouth, which stopped in mid-motion, his jaw hanging open and his eyes fixed on the couple. Severus looked to Albus' right, and watched with profound amusement as Minerva McGonagall's eyes jumped out of her head.
The chatter of the students abruptly stopped, as though a switch had been turned off. All heads turned and followed them while Severus walked Harry to the head of the Gryffindor table. Weasley and Granger wore shocked smiles until Severus stopped in front of them and turned Harry to face him, giving him a deep, lingering kiss; then their mouths gaped open like two fish on land.
As Severus pulled out of the kiss, both of them breathing hard, he gave Harry a wink and the barest of smiles before following Remus to his seat at the staff table.
"Did you have a good trip?" Albus asked with amusement as the spoon he was holding finally made it to his mouth.
"It wasn't so bad. It would have been better if Lucius hadn't shown up," Severus said casually as he began his meal.
Albus spit out his soup and looked at Severus with fear and worry.
"Oh, relax, Albus. Nothing happened." Severus shook his head and continued eating.
He watched Harry through the corner of his eye throughout the entire meal. He knew he was being watched as well, and not only by Harry. The students of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw stared in wonder and awe, while his own Slytherins glared at him with open hostility. All the Slytherins with the exception of Draco Malfoy, who looked utterly amused.
Severus really didn't care anymore what anyone thought. He was happier and more relaxed than he could remember ever being before. The headmaster obviously didn't disapprove, so why should it matter to anyone else. For the first time in years, Severus was going to do what he wanted, what made him happy.
Beside him, Remus was snickering again. Severus leaned into him, putting his arm across the back of the chair, his mouth, just an inch from the werewolf's ear.
"You know, Remus," he whispered seductively, "I still owe you for today."
Knowing they were sitting at just the right angle for the students not to see, Severus stuck out his tongue and tickled Remus' ear. Severus brought his free hand onto Remus' thigh and slid it slowly up the man's leg until it brushed against his cock. He gave a gentle squeeze before settling back in his chair.
Ignoring the shock on Remus' face, Severus rose from his chair and made his way to Harry.
"Shall we?" Severus asked, holding his hand out to Harry. Harry grinned up at him and took his hand.
"See you guys later," he said, waving at Ron and Hermione. As they past Seamus, he called Harry to a stop.
"Hold up, mate." Seamus dug into the pocket of his Muggle jeans and pulled out something too small for Severus to see. "You might need this," he said with a wink as he slapped the object into Harry's hand.
Harry looked at it briefly then clenched his fingers around it. Harry's face turned the deepest shade of red Severus had ever seen as Seamus chuckled loudly. Severus gave them both a quizzical look before his arm was nearly yanked out of its socket by Harry trying to escape the Great Hall.
Once the doors had closed, Severus turned to look at Harry with curiosity. "What did he give you?"
Still too stunned to speak, Harry just held up the little package for Severus to see. It was a foil wrapped Muggle condom.
"Oh," Severus said as he tried not to laugh. Wizards had their own ways of protecting themselves and had no use for condoms, but the suggestion was clear. Looking into each other's eyes, they burst into laughter as they began making their way down to the dungeons.
