Chapter Seven: The Trial.

Later that night Hermione thought about everything that had happened. She turned her head and looked at her sleeping husband and smiled. Then putting her last thought to rest she fell asleep. The next day she showered, dressed, and then headed with her husband to the Great Hall. Harry and Ron rushed forward worried looks on their faces.
“ Hermione where were you last night, you didn’t come for dinner.” She looked at them and despite the desire to shout at them she put a calm face on.
“ I got busy and decided not to come up and eat.” Harry looked at her as though he didn’t believe it. Suddenly Snape cleared his throat.
“ I hate to break this up, but me and my wife have to eat breakfast and then head to London.”
“ Why do you have to head to London?” Ron asked.
“ I’ll tell you when I come back.” And both her and her husband entered the Great Hall.

An hour later both Snape’s were gone. Dumbledore prayed that everything would turn out all right for both of them. When they both arrived and headed down to where they were suppose to be at.
“ I’m scared,” she told him. “ I don’t want to lose you.” Snape was shocked that Hermione was saying this. He guessed it was the fact that she might be turned over to Malfoy that was making her act like this. He was determined later on to find out if she loved him. He knew that he loved her. They entered and Fudge was waiting for them.

“ Mrs. Snape welcome back, I know that you rather be at Hogwarts, but Lucius is contesting your marriage and we have to hear him out.” Hermione saw Lucius being flanked by Moody and Tonks and her temper got the best of her.
“ What are you looking at,” she snapped, using an old muggle saying that confused the man. She was glad that he was confused just as long as she had her Snape.
“ Now Mrs. Snape we are all civil here.” Hermione snorted with laughter at that term. Lucius Malfoy was not a civil man and his son was worse.

“ Just as long as I don’t have to touch him.” She spat. She sat down next to her husband and Fudge started things off.
“ Mr. Lucius Malfoy is contesting Mrs. Snape’s marriage to Mr. Snape. Why are your reasons for doing so?” Lucius got up and smirking he started.
“ Hermione Snape was not in her right mind when she agreed to marry Severus. I believe that she has discriminated against my son because of me.” Hermione wanted to laugh about that. “ I do believe that she needs to marry someone that is within her own arouproup.”

Fudge turned to Hermione and motioned for her to stand up.
“ Have you and Severus consummated your marriage?” He asked.
“ Yes we have,” she replied. “ And I loved every minute of it.” She stuck her tongue out at Lucius who looked like he wanted to hex her. To bad he had his wand snapped in half. Snape saw it and wanted to laugh. “ In fact Mr. Fudge I have plans to take him again.”

“ Okay Mrs. Snape I just needed an answer to my question.” Hermione noticed that he blushed a little and this made her feel like she was in control. Fudge had her set down and asked Snape the same question. He answered, but without the tongue sticking. When Snape had sat down Fudge turned to Lucius.
“ I’m sorry, but the marriage is legal binding both on paper and in the bedroom,” he told him. “ Your request is denied. Take him back to Azkaban.” Lucius fought against Moody and Tonks and then he disappeared threw the door. Hermione felt like all the wind had been knocked out of her. She knew only one thing that would make her feel whole again and it required her husband present for that.

When they returned to Hogwarts she forced him down a passageway and into their privet quarters. She placed wards on all the doors and then forced him on the bed.
“ I need my husband and I need him now.” He nodded and she flicked her wand and their clothes disappeared. When he kissed her it had nothing of the gentleness that he had shown before. It was pure need and desire. He took her quickly and she cried out as he joined with her. When he climaxed and spilled into her she laid there gasping for breath.
“ I can’t believe that we did that in five minutes,” she told him. He chuckled at her and then took her mouth again in a long kiss. He nibbled down her neck and earlobe.
“ I believe your healing should take all week,” he told her. Hermione grinned at him and then wrapping her arms back around him they started all over again.

True to Snape’s words the school didn’t see them all week. Harry and Ron were worried because she would miss out on all that homework that she had to do. Professor McGonagall didn’t see Snape at meals or during class. He missed two meetings and one practice match against the Ravenclaws. When they did appear on Saturday both of them were walking funny. Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table while Snape joined the staff table.
“ Where were you all this week,” McGonagall demanded.
“ Minerva if I want a mother to check on me, I’ll visit the grave.” She looked at him and noticed that Ron was asking Hermione something. He guessed it was the following. “ Where have you been all week.”

Snape remembered their week of passion and he didn’t know all of that could come out of one women. He had no more doubts abouw shw she felt. Her body wanted his and there was nothing anyone could say to her to change her mind. Meanwhile Malfoy was mad that his father had lost the case. If one week of absence was any indication she had to be good in bed. He hated the idea that Snape got a chance to enjoy her. He decided to come up with a plan that would get her for himself for one night. Then he would be able to ruin her for the rest of her life in public. What he didn’t know was that doing that would be much harder then he could imagine.

Hermione after the dinner spent the rest of that night and Sunday finishing her work. She couldn’t believe that they had gone non-stop for a week. She grinned at him as he was reading his paper, and wondered what he was thinking right now.
