Seduce My Father - Complete
Baby Fever
Note: @ guiltypleasure, I don't find the cake thing very humorous either, but I figured it was something others would enjoy. On another note, sorry this chapter is a tad late. I've been commissioned to do some art for a few people, so it's a bit complicated at the moment. This chapter is short, but I promise to write more tonight! <3
It turned out that both couples were quite blissful in their marriages. Severus had seemed to completely let go of his initial insecurity, and Hermione was allowing herself to make other friends at Uni. He even encouraged her to bring them home once in a while. Being that Severus and Adrien both seemed to get on quite well with Bryce, he was a frequent visitor, and one of the spare rooms had even been made up to his liking. Bryce's home life, was discovered to be not that great. His parents detested the fact that he was gay, and they began to mistreat him, and told him they would prefer he didn't visit during his off time from school. Severus had known all too well how it was growing up in a hostile environment, and it actually pained him inside to know that Bryce was suffering. Needless to say, it had been Severus that invited him to stay with them during the summer.
Hermione hadn't made many other friends, other than a strange gothic girl by the name of Reyn who she discovered was originally from Russia. Reyn was quiet, but once she got to know her, she was a very funny witch. The first time Draco laid eyes on her, Hermione knew that it was a match made in Heaven. Needless to say on that subject, Reyn and Draco began dating shortly after Luna gave birth to a beautiful little boy. They decided to name him Severin Xenius Snape, partially after both Luna and Adrien's fathers.
Hermione, being a glow with baby fever, couldn't wait to hold the baby whenever she flooed back from school. Severin was such a good baby, it was actually very surprising. He barely ever cried unless he was hungry or tired, and he slept through the night most of the time. Adrien was such a proud father that he often fell asleep with Severin on his chest.
It was determined during a trip to St. Mungo's that Severus and Hermione would also be having a boy. Now, they were racking their minds to figure out names that seemed suitable for their child.
"It can't be something boring." Severus said, making Hermione laugh.
"Of course not. He's your child. He definitely won't be boring."
"Are you trying to say I'm boring?" he asked, cocking a brow at her.
"No! I wasn't being sarcastic!" Hermione laughed backing up to the bed as Severus playfully advanced on her with faux menace in his eyes.
She fell back onto the bed laughing hysterically, made worse by Severus bounding onto the bed after her with the intent to do the worst thing you could do to a six month pregnant woman. Hermione writhed and wiggled in a desperate attempt to get away from Severus as he began tickling her sides.
"Am I boring now!?" Severus shouted with laughter in his tone. "Am I boring you, Hermione? My dear sweet love?"
"Oh my gods, Severus, please!!! Ugh, please!! I'm going to pee all over you if you don't stop!" she cried, laughing so hard, she was literally crying.
"That's what drying spells are for!" Severus replied, continuing his assault on her sides. "This is what you get for calling me boring."
"I didn't mean it like that!"
Severus stopped abruptly, right before Hermione's bladder let loose. She moved as quickly as she could. Still laughing, she ran into the bathroom, and gave herself such sweet relief.
"I didn't say you were boring!" She called from inside.
"That's what it sounded like to me." Severus replied. She could hear the smirk in his tone.
"You're much too sexy for me to ever find anything boring about you."
Severus sighed and rolled his eyes but smiled. "Seriously, we need to think of names for him. Stop distracting me."
"Me distract you?!" Hermione laughed as she walked out of the bathroom to collapse on the bed.
Severus moved to lay down beside her. "I like the name Damarius. I don't know why, but I do."
"Okay, what about a middle name?" Hermione asked, rolling onto her side to face her husband.
"Perhaps we should give him one of Albus's many middle names." Severus chuckled, making Hermione giggle at the thought. The man did have several names to spare.
"Damarius Wulfric Snape." Hermione mused aloud.
"I like it." Severus smiled.
"I like it as well. I'm glad we've finally decided." she smiled brightly before catching the sound of Severin crying. Hermione jumped up quickly and all but ran from the room.
"Shouldn't you let Luna be his mother?" Severus called after her shaking his head. He knew Hermione would be a very attentive mother judging by the way she treated Severin. He chuckled to himself realizing that Hermione was kind of the child's "grandmother" by marriage. It was odd. So very odd, but then again, what in his life was ever normal?
