Room of Requirement

The Room of Requirement was no longer a den of seduction, no draperies or heady scents hung. The walls were painted pale yellow, and were hung with pastel quilts. The air was heavy with the pleasant smell of fresundrundry. A soft tinkling melody replaced the seductive music that usually played. The round bed was gone, and in its place were not one, but two whitewashed cribs, white netting over each. More nappies than possibly necessary were stacked in whitewashed baskets on a dresser with an oddly flat top.

The room had become a nursery.
