Chapter Six

(Full)

Hogwarts Express seemed to have more students on it this year than it did any of the previous years Harry and his friends attended.

Every private compartment on the train was full of students and somewhere along the way they’ve lost Ginny to a random kidnapping.

Ron sighed, propping himself against the wall. “Why don’t we just give up?”

Hermione agreed, tired of the endless walking through the train. “Let’s just ask someone if we can share their compartment with them.”

“Yeah, mate, it’s impossible to find an empty one anyways.”

Harry threw his hands up, sick of being outnumbered by his friends. “Fine, let’s go to that last compartment we haven’t checked out.” He pointed.

Both teens nodded and resumed their exhausting trek to what they hope be a comfortable seat among fellow peers.

When they reached the last compartment, Harry decided to be the one who would ask.

Sliding the door open, he poked his head in. “Hey guys, I was wondering if my friends and I could—”

He stopped when he realized who resided in the last compartment.

Slamming the door quickly, he turned to the questioning gaze of his two best friends.

“What’s wrong, Harry?”

“Yeah, what did they say?”

The green eyed boy grumbled something under his breath before flopping on the floor next to his trunk.

Hermione looked at him in disbelief.

“Harry! What are you doing?” She screeched angrily ready to be the boy silly.

“Shut up Hermione and sit down. It’s going to be a long ride and I’m sure standing up isn’t going to be fun after awhile.” He gave her “the look”.

Hermione caught on quickly and made a silent ‘oh’ with her lips.

Ron looked between them two, not knowing the signal that they shared. “What’s going on?”

She sighed deeply as she sat down on the floor.

When it comes to Harry and his ‘crushes’, she wished she never knew about Draco Malfoy.

She could feel the promising headache forming at the idea of them possibly together.
