Mione 4

A/N: I need to remind all of you that regular Mione, the Mione that we know and love, yes she may be the smartest witch of her age but she would rather believe that she has amnesia than believe that there is anything else wrong with her, and besides she is also doing it to make Draco and his friends believe that as well. That is why she seems to trust him so much alreay. Oh and sorry for the long delay. My car broke down and was in the shop for a few days and then on top of that last week I was in the hospital. But I'm better now and so is my car and I will try to update on a regular bases. Here is the enstallment hope you enjoy. If you have any further questions review please and I will answer them on the next enstallment.

Oh and to lemonade8: I will explain the fever in Rini 4. Thank you for the questions. I will try to clear everything up.

“M-my d-d-dark mark?” I stared at him in horror. “I-I have a dark mark?” No I was sure I never had a dark mark, and I was also sure that there was no way you could remove it or hide it for that matter. So where was the dark mark I was supposed to have?

“Yes - well no actually you’re supposed to have one.” Blaise answered.

“Where is it Rini?” Draco commanded.

Tears began forming behind my eyes but I blinked them away, I wouldn't cry in front of the three of them. I had to be strong. “I don’t know. Really I don’t know.”

“Damn it try and remember!” Draco yelled. I coward away to the other side of the bed. This is the Draco I remember. This is the Draco I knew all too well. The one who loved to torment me, not the one who loved to love me.

Parker placed his hand on Draco’s shoulder. “Calm down, man, can’t you tell you’re scaring her shitless.”

Draco looked angry at first but when he looked at me realization hit him hard and he got on the bed and crawled toward me. To which I just backed away even more trying to keep away from him and not fall off at the same time. He reached out to touch me and I flinched away. “Baby, I’m not going to hurt you. I promise.” I relaxed a bit but didn’t move closer; he did though and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. “I’m sorry I yelled at you. It won’t happen again.”

I relaxed into his embrace as his soothing voice reached my ears. To me it felt like an eternity sitting there in his arms before someone spoke. His words only loud enough for me to hear, and that was how it should be, I should be the only one to hear him speak like that. Those sweet nothings that made you love someone, like a spell, an enchantment. Because that's what I had been at that moment. Enchanted.

“Sorry to ruin your happy moment, cutie, but how did you get rid of the dark mark?” Blaise asked sitting on the bed followed by Parker.

I frowned. “I don’t know. I don’t even remember having a dark mark.” (A/N: Ok she is in serious denial about who she is.)

Draco looked at Blaise and Parker seriously. “Guys can you leave so I can talk to Rini alone.” he lifted the concealing charm off the door.

“Sure thing.” Blaise said.

“Whatever, I’m going back to bed.” Parker replied.

Once they left Draco concealed the room again and turned back to me. His face was serious but his eyes were pained.

“You’ll have to prove yourself worthy again.”

I gulped and looked down. “What did I do last time?”

“You help get Potter in the Triwizard Tournament.”

A silent tear rolled across my cheek. “What do you suppose he‘ll have me do this time?”

Draco grabbed my chin lightly and made me look at him. “I don’t know but I will be there to help you, if I can.” he wiped away the tears and softly kissed my forehead.

He removed himself from the bed and began to change into his day clothes.

“Where are you going?” I asked drawing the covers around my half-naked body.

He smiled. “I, my dear, am going to get you some breakfast. You may shower if you like, but stay in here please. I don't want to have to search for you, the thought of losing you would worry me to death.”

I smiled back at him. “Sure.” I got out of bed and walked over to the dresser beside him.

He cocked an eyebrow. “May I ask, why did you allow me to undress you yesterday? And why the bloody hell are you not blushing like crazy standing in front of me in just your knickers and bra?”

I just rolled my eyes and took out some clothes. “Well you’ve already told me we’ve done a lot more than kiss, so that means you’ve already seen me naked at least once. I just figured why hide it if you’ve already seen it. And last night I couldn’t undress myself and I didn’t want to get my clothes ruined.” he gaped at me. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek. “Don’t take too long. I’m hungry.” I walked into the bathroom and started the water in the bathtub letting it warm up before I stripped completely and sank into it’s warmth.

Draco stepped through the portrait and into the common room where Blaise and Parker sat waiting, dressed in their day clothes as well.

Blaise stood from the couch and stepped towards Draco. “Well?”

Draco shook his head. “Bigbe!”

There was a pop and Draco turned to the house elf. “Yes Master Malfoy?”

“In twenty minutes I want you to bring me breakfast. In the secret library.“ he whispered the last part with a hiss. The house elf nodded and left with a pop.

Draco walked into the common room’s small library and over to a lone bookshelf. He reached for a book called ‘Creatures of the Deep’ and pulled on it a little. The bookcase swiveled and showed a short passage to another door behind it. Draco stepped through the threshold and to the door, followed closely by Blaise and Parker. Once the three were in the passageway the bookcase closed. Draco led them to the door and opened it stepping into a lavish library beckoning his two comrades in. As they came in a house elf scurried over to them.

“Is there anything Millie can do for yous?” she asked in a squeaky voice.

“Yes leave.” Draco demanded. The house elf shrieked and then disappeared with a pop.

Blaise and Parker took a seat next to the fire and looked at Draco. “Why do you suppose it’s gone?” Parker asked breaking the silence.

Draco shook his head. “I don’t know. And besides don’t you think if I knew I wouldn’t be so tense. She'll have to prove herself again and you remember how hard it had been on her knowing that she had gotten Potter into the Tournament and that without intentionally doing so she had gotten Diggory killed.”

“Maybe she switched places with her past self, before she got the mark, to stop herself from getting the mark.” Blaise offered.

Draco took it into consideration for a second. “No, if she did that then everything would be different, not just her.”

“Why?” Parker asked.

“Because, if she didn’t get Potter into the tournament in fourth year Cedric would still be alive, and I don’t think I’ve seen him walking around, now do you?” they shook their heads. “And besides if she did put herself back in time we would know.”

They nodded in agreement. “Maybe she’s not Hermione then.” Parker said.

“That’s ridiculous and you know it. The only way for someone to look like someone else is polyjuice potion, or a very intricate charm. And I would know if it wasn’t her because if it wasn’t she wouldn’t be able to get into our bedroom.”

“Oh yeah. Right. Sorry I forgot about that little charm.”

There was a pop and everyone turned to look at the door. “Bigbe is here with your breakfast sir Mr. Malfoy sir.”

“Good.” Draco snatched the tray. “You can leave now.” there was another pop and the house elf was gone. “Now if you boys will excuse me I have a hungry fiancée waiting in the other room.” Draco walked back out the door through the library and common room and back into his bedroom.

I was getting out of the bath when there was a sudden knock on the door. I reached for a towel and wrapped it around me and walked to the door. There was another knock and I opened the door.

“Yes?” I asked consciously pulling the towel tighter.

“Just wondering if you were almost done, you’re food’s getting cold.” he motioned to the tray on the coffee table.

I nodded and walked over to the couch to sit down. “So what did you do?” I asked taking a bite of toast.

“When?” he sat down in the chair to my left.

“To get the dark mark.”

“Oh.” he looked away into the fire. “Nothing really, being Lucius’ son was enough.” he said knowing it was a lie.

I nodded and continued eating. A few minutes later I was satisfied and laid back on the couch watching the fire. “So I’m spending Christmas with you and your family?”

Draco was startled from his thoughts and looked up at me. “No actually my father came to see me last night and he says Mum and him are going on vacation with your parents.”

“Oh. So I get to spend Christmas with just you then?”

“Yeah I suppose so.” he puased. “You don’t mind do you?” he got up and sat beside me on the couch. I shook my head. “Good.” he said stroking my cheek.

He slowly moved his hand from my cheek, across my neck and collarbone where his hand rested and he traced little circles; sending chills throughout my body.

I looked down and saw that I was still wearing the towel and backed away a little. “Uh… Draco don’t you think I should at least go get dressed.” I'm not sure that my fragile mind can handle this kind touch from you.

He leaned closer, smirking. So close, in fact, that I could feel his breath on my lips when he spoke. “Now why would I think that.” he whispered before stealing a kiss. What a simple yet bone chilling kiss it was, but not in a bad way.

When he pulled away I was breathless. “Be-be-” But he interrupted me with another kiss. Bloody hell, stop kissing me and let me talk. But I didn't really want to talk because he was making my body hot, my blood boil, my inner thighs tingle.

He maneuvered himself to where he was laying on top of me not once breaking the kiss. I felt his tongue on my bottom lip asking for entrance to which I obliged. I moaned as the kiss became more intense and passionate. But it didn’t last long because we were interrupted by a knock on the door. Draco growled and pulled away letting a coldness wash over my body where his warm body once was.

I pulled him back as another knock rang throughout the room. “Just leave them.” I whispered before pulling him into a fiery kiss. What the hell, did I just say that? He is still your enemy, Hermione, don't you forget it. Just because he says otherwise doesn't mean anything. Don't get too deep in this make believe game you're playing to keep yourself safe.

There was another knock harder this time and he broke the kiss for a second. “But-” I shook my head and kissed him again. He growled as there were more knocks. He pulled away. “Stay right there.” he got off the couch and walked through the door. “What?” he asked as he grabbed Parker’s wrist stopping him from ‘knocking’ on his face.

“Oh… umm… sorry-” he stuttered.

“How many times have I told you if I don’t answer after the third knock I’m busy.”

“Sorry but you’re needed.”

“Needed how?”

“You know how. I’m surprised you didn’t feel it.” he was rubbing his arm.

“Yeah well she has that way with me.” he paused. “Go keep her company until I get back.” he waved his hand in front of the door before apparating. He could feel the burn of his arm now.

I lay there for about five or ten minutes before heard a cough come from the door. “Dra…co. What are you doing here?” I asked as I sat up and saw Parker standing there.

He smirked when he saw I was only wearing a towel. “Dark Lord needed Draco so he told me to keep you company until he gets back.”

“Oh.” I blushed and walked into the bathroom to change. When I walked out I was wearing a black corset type shirt with green lace and ribbons, and dark blue form-fitting flare jeans. “Do you know how long he’ll be?”

“Nope. It all depends on what the Dark Lord needs.” he paused and sat by the fire. “Though I’m pretty sure your name will appear a lot in the conversation.”

I gulped and nodded. Instead of sitting with him I went into the library and found a book called ‘Souls and Rings’ and sat down at the only table in there to read. It was a wonderful book on how to transfer ones power and soul into a ring to keep it safe from harm. I was half-way finished when Parker walked in wearing a scowl.

“That was really rude, you know? Leaving me out there like that.”

“Sorry.” I admitted. I really hadn't meant to offend him but my body was still reeling after the snog with Draco that I didn't want to be too close to another guy. Not that I'm a slut or anything. I wouldnt' cheat with Parker on Draco.

He sighed and sat across from me. “It’s ok. It’s just when Draco tells me to keep you company he means for me to keep an eye on you.”

My head snapped up from the book. “What?! Why?”

“Well because you’ve ran-a-way a couple of times ‘cause you were mad at him. And I suppose he’s worried about you with everything that’s happened.”

“Oh, but why would I be mad at him?” I wasn't mad I was relieved. Relieved that we had been interrupted. But then why had you been telling him to ignore the door and kept pulling him down to snog some more? My head was hurting from the sheer confusion of the matter.

He looked at me confused. “So you’re not mad at him right now for walking out on you?” I shook my head. “Why not?” he furrowed his brows.

“Because to tell you the truth I’m still a little uncomfortable around him. Don’t tell him that though.” he nodded. “And at least he told me, well you told me.”

A/N: I want to inform you that a lot of these chapters will end in cliff hangers. That is just how it is. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope I made Hermione seem a little better than before.
