Chapter VII: The death of Azkaban.

Everything was still spinning even though he was seated. He could feel Jadis's hands rubbing his neck and shoulders. For this, he was infinitely grateful.

"Why?" Harry finally asked of Aberforth.

"I am a simple barkeep. I enjoy my simple life. I'm no clan leader.

"Wait, what about your son, Edwin?"

"I asked Edwin and he said he would rather stick with his ship and crew than with the clan. That's why I thought of and summoned you Harry, you're going to have to surround yourself with people in the pure blood community that are opened to fresh new ideas. That has always been a hallmark of our clan. I, however, am not a leader of men. You, however, are and must use that ability."

"Mr. Dumbledore is correct," Griphook stated. "If you were to combine the votes you now control in the Wizengamot with the votes that clan Dumbledore have, you could bring about uncomfortable changes to the bigoted pure blooded families."

Harry, now recovered enough from the shock, now started thinking.

"Will the rest of the clan leaders even listen to me?" Harry asked.

"Jacob Harrison was the one strongly opposed to go against your parents' wishes and send you to your muggle relatives. He even volunteered himself to be the one to take care of you, but Albus overrode him," Aberforth explained.

"Albus Dumbledore found some obscure law that you humans have that gave him the right to completely ignore the lawful will of your parents," Griphook stated sorely. That incident would never be forgiven or forgotten.

"When should I meet them?" Harry asked,"

"There is a clan meeting Friday night at midnight. The ring will bring you there," Aberforth answered. Harry now put the platinum ring with the blue stone in the middle on his left pointer finger. "Bring the elemental witch. That'll make sure you'll be somewhat respected. Wizards might be still in the dark ages about witches' rights, but the more enlightened will see that behind you is a greater witch." Harry blushed and didn't need to see the smirk plastered on Jadis's face to know that she was pleased with those words.

"And that's the whole story," Harry finished telling the rest of the horcrux hunters in the twins' room the next night. The rest of Harry's birthday had went off without a hitch.

"Bloody hell..." Ron said in awe.

"Normally I'd get on to you for your language, but in this case, I tend to agree. Harry, do you realize how much political power you've been given in those three rings?" Hermione asked.

"I'm starting to get the idea. Aberforth believed that Albus manipulated everything he could in order to keep me under his control. I guess we were right, we would destroy the horcruxes, find out that my scar was one, and I'd end up sacrificing myself, and someone else would finish Tom off," Harry stated calmly. "I won't waste time on blaming, or hating Albus Dumbledore for what he did. I just hope Sirius and my father give him a hard time up there."

Hermione smiled at her friend and then rolled her eyes at Jadis sitting like some sort of pampered cat in Harry's lap. She was wearing a thin, white night gown, which, if one looked hard, it didn't leave too much to the imagination. Apparently, the two had gone clothes shopping after their visit to Gringotts. "What are you going to do?"

"First, I hope to end that power struggle between Fudge and Scrimgeour. Scrimgeour will owe me big time for what I'm about to do. He might owe me a wizarding debt after this," Harry stated. Jadis smirked at him while Ron chuckled.

"It would be an advantage to have the ministry off our back while we do this," Ron stated. Hermione frowned a bit, but even she had to agree with that.

"They aren't going to want to anger or say anything bad about you now are they?" Viktor asked with a smile. Harry chuckles and nodded in agreement.

"We better go before your mother finds us, Ronald," Luna stated.

"Right," Ron agreed.

It was boring, tedious, long, and did he fail to mention boring? He being surrounded by ancient wizards, at least compared to him, talking about turning the wizarding world on its head. Harrison wasn't as old as the rest. Harry guessed the head Obliviater couldn't still be in his position if he were as old as some of these wizards. No wonder Albus Dumbledore acted the way he did. Hanging around most of these people would drive anyone batty.

"I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that you've walked into an elderly wizard's club. The others don't know when to pass down their rings to the next generation," Harrison stated.

"Can we do this?" Harry asked.

"Yes, with me as head of the court we should be able to get all our agendas pushed through."

"Monday then?" Harry asked.

"I'll see you then," Harrison said and Harry prepare to use the ring to take him back, but a sharp throb from the ghost of his scar brought him to his knees. "What's wrong?" Harrison asked.

"Tom...he's attacking Azkaban again," Harry reported in pain. Jadis knelt beside him and pulled the boy against her.

"Milord, we've cleared out the prison," Bellatrix reported.

"Good, tell them to head back to Malfoy Manor. I shall join you shortly," Voldemort stated calmly.

"Milord, the auras will be hear soon."

"All they will see is nothingness," Voldemort stated calmly. "Go, don't let anyone stay behind."

Bellatrix left her master's side to do his bidding. Feeling all his minions had left, the Dark Lord went through his own animal transformation. Instead of a serpentine human, there stood a black, serpentine dragon. It opened its mouth and a ball of fire built up in its jaws. Then, in a violent motion, the ball of fire consumed the prison, destroying it utterly. The dragon let out a loud screech of triumph and flew off. Ministry officials arrived five minutes later to discover that that there was no prison. Fear coursed through the wizards, wondering how he-who-must-not-be-named pulled this off.
