Chapter 7
Star Gazer
Chapter 7
Hermione stood at the bottom of the ramp to her ship. “Talon, be careful,” she said.
“I will Hermione,” Talon nodded.
“Oh one more thing. Don’t scratch my ship,” she teased.
Talon just laughed and nodded. Hermione backed away as Talon boarded the STAR GAZER. She felt Luke wrap his arms around her and puller her to him.
“Love, be careful today,” he whispered.
“I will. You be careful too,” she nodded.
Luke softly kissed her. The two turned and left the landing platform. They were meeting the others outside the academy. They newlyweds found their friends all ready and waiting.
“Where are the students?” Luke asked.
“They are safe. Kyp and Corran are with them,” Mara answered.
“Do you feel that?” Ron questioned as he felt a disturbance in the Force.
“Yes. Let’s get ready,” Harry nodded.

Voldemort led his five Death Eaters toward the Jedi academy. His red eyes narrowed when he spotted the six people waiting for them. Voldemort drew his wand as did his Death Eaters.
“Looks like they want a fight,” Voldemort sneered.
“Then let’s give them one,” Bellatrix grinned wickedly.
The two groups stopped five feet apart. Harry and Voldemort glaring at one another.
“Not hiding for once you bastard,” Harry hissed.
“Let’s end this Potter,” Voldemort said.
“AVADA KEDAVRA!” both yelled.
Bellatrix and Severus began dueling. Ron and McNair, Mara and Avery, and Luke and Nott. Draco and Hermione stood facing each other as the five other battles raged on around them.
“You’ll pay for what you did to my father,” Draco growled.
“He deserved what he got,” Hermione shot back, failing to correct Draco that it was Luke that had killed Lucius.
Draco let out a cry and began the fight. Hermione easily blocked the spells and curses, using both her wand and the Force she stayed one step ahead of him. Once he realized they were and even match with wands, he surprised her and pulled out a red lightsaber.
“You’re not the only one who knows the ways of the Force,” he laughed.
“You only know the dark side. Don’t you learn? Evil never wins,” she said calmly.
Luke, Ron, Severus, and Mara successfully beat their opponents. The four dead Death Eaters lay on the ground. Luke watched anxiously as Hermione battled Draco. The purple and red sabers a blur.
“Aren’t you going to help her?” Severus asked.
“No. She’ll be just fine,” Luke answered.
A second later, Draco’s head went bouncing off as his body dropped to the dirt. Hermione sighed and turned off her saber. She walked over and stood beside her husband.
“How’s he doing?” Hermione questioned as they turned to watch Harry and Voldemort.
“He’s holding on,” Ron replied.

Han sat patiently in the FALCON. He, Lando, and Talon had tapped into the frequency between the CHIMERA and Voldemort. The three were just waiting for the signal from Voldemort, then they could make their move.
“Hey Solo, what’s taking these guys so long?” Talon groaned.
“I don’t know Karrde. Don’t go getting jittery. If we don’t time this right, we could give ourselves away,” Han sighed.
“Han, Talon, I got something coming through,” Lando interrupted.
Over the frequency came Voldemort’s voice. “Give it up Potter! The academy is mine now!”
The three men saw the CHIMERA beginning to change its positions. This was the moment the three men were waiting for. At the exactly the same moment, the FALCON, LUCK, AND GAZER fired their weapons. Seconds later, the CHIMERA burst into flames.

“Time to end this. Captain, begin your landing,” Voldemort said into his comlink.
Harry’s smile broadened as he heard Han’s voice in reply. “Oh, I’m sorry, but the CHIMERA is currently unavailable. Please try your take over of the academy again later. Thank you,”
“Noooo!” Voldemort roared.
“Hope you enjoy hell,” Harry grinned.
Using the Force, Harry’s lightsaber flew through the air. Voldemort’s scream echoing through the jungles as the saber flew through his body. Harry watched as his enemy collapsed in a pile of dust.
“It’s over. Thank the Force it’s finally over,” Harry sighed, dropping to his knees.
Ron, Hermione, and Severus walked over and knelt beside Harry. Mara and Luke felt the different emotions radiating from the three. All the pain and suffering they endured at the hands of Voldemort was finally over.
“Do you think they’ll be alright?” Mara asked as she stepped up beside Luke.
“With time Mara, I think they will be just fine,” Luke answered.
