Chapter 7
CHAPTER SEVEN
Lucius Malfoy sipped his coffee slowly as he read the Daily Prophet. He looked up at his wife for a moment when she entered the room and seated herself at the table. Narcissa watched as Dilby, one of their house elves and brother to Dobby, set two extra places at the table.
“Who are those for?” She asked curiously as a female elf filled her plate.
“Master Draco and his friend Mistress.” Dilby replied.
“Friend? What friend? Did he invite someone to breakfast?” Narcissa asked. She pushed Lucius’s paper aside. “Do we have a guest for breakfast?” She asked her smirking spouse.
“Draco has company Narcissa, though I doubt they will join us for breakfast.” He said, smiling as he resumed his reading.
“Why ever not?” She asked, frowning slightly.
“Master Draco and his friend be sleeping still.” Dilby said.
“Did you prepare the guestroom then?” She asked, she never wanted it said that Narcissa Malfoy was anything but a proper hostess when there was a guest in her house.
“No Mistress, the young lady sleeps in the young master’s bed.”
“Young lady? In Draco’s bed? But….oh dear lord!” She exclaimed, her face reddening as she fanned herself. Lucius was laughing behind his paper. “You knew he brought a girl home!”
“I saw them last night.” He said. It was right un-chivalrous to laugh at ones wife when she was so clearly distraught, but Lucius couldn’t help himself. It was time she figured out that Draco was no longer a child.
“You met his young lady?” She asked eagerly, curious about the woman her son was involved with.
“I said I saw them, I didn’t meet her. They were on the stairs when I stumbled across them.”
“Why ever not?”
“They were….occupied.” He said.
“You don’t mean….” She asked. “On the stairs! Where anyone can see them?”
“I couldn’t SEE them…..she was hidden beneath his robes.” He drawled.
“Beneath his robes? But Lucius, he’s just a boy!”
“No, he’s not a boy Narcissa, he’s a man, with a man’s needs and a lovely young witch he cares for…surely you don’t believe this to be the first time he’s had intimate knowledge of a female.”
“I don’t….not my baby…” She got up from the table and fled the room. Lucius set his paper down and followed, he knew where she was going and he couldn’t wait to see what happened next. With this sort of excitement going on, maybe house arrest wouldn’t be so bad after all.
“Ouch! You little hellcat, watch the nails.” Draco growled as Hermione’s fingernails raked across his back.
“You are a tease Draco Malfoy, and I don’t like you.” She pouted.
“I say you’re a liar, you wouldn’t be wiggling like a cat in heat against me if you didn’t like me.” He said as he pushed his hips forward again, pressing against her. He could feel her wet arousal through the cotton of her panties and the silk of his boxers.
“How dare you!”
“I dare because I can feel how hot and wet you are, plus you have your legs wrapped so tight around me I can barely move.” He laughed softly as he pressed against her again, harder this time.
“Oh, that’s good….right there Dragon….” Hermione moaned, digging her nails deeper into his shoulders and causing him to hiss.
“Oh dear lord!” The scream quickly pulled them from their passionate exchange. Hermione buried her face beneath the blankets as Draco looked back over his shoulder in shock.
Narcissa stood there, staring at her son’s bare back covered in bright red scratches as he lay atop the unknown female. Lucius was leaning against the doorframe, watching the show with a big smile on his face.
“Mum!” Draco’s face darkened, turning almost purple in his embarrassment. His mother was staring at them, her eyes wide and her mouth open in shock.
“Good morning son, and good morning Ms…..” Lucius drawled, clearly enjoying the uncomfortable moment, not that it surprised Draco. His father got his kicks out of witnessing others humiliation. Hermione sucked in a deep breath and moved her head to look out from beneath Draco’s shoulder. “Ms. Granger!” Lucius said, his smiled broadening to actually show his perfect white teeth. “Well done Draco.” He drawled.
“Um….could you give us a moment?” Draco asked, still staring at his befuddled mother.
“But he’s just a boy….” She muttered as Lucius clasped her shoulders and steered her from the room.
“Join us for breakfast when you’ve….finished.” Lucius smirked as he closed the door behind him.
“Oh my god Draco!” Hermione said as she buried her face into his chest. “How long do you think they were there!”
“Long enough, if Mum’s reaction is anything to go by.” He said as he shifted off of her, flopping onto his back and throwing his arm over his face. “I have never been so embarrassed in my life.”
“You? Your parents just discovered that I am the woman you’re involved with while I was lying beneath you begging for more!” She said.
“My mother is completely mental…she couldn’t even say anything.” He groaned.
“Your father’s reaction was interesting.” She said, remembering the amusement she saw on Lucius’s face.
“Dad likes to witness other people’s shame.” He reached over and pulled her against his side. “I’m sorry, I locked the door…”
“It’s not your fault, I just wish I hadn’t looked like a wanton hussy when your parents discovered we were a couple.” She said, tucking her head into his shoulder.
“We need to get up and go downstairs Hermione.” He groaned, he didn’t want to face his parents.
“I don’t have any clothes Draco.” She said. He climbed out of bed and dug through a drawer for a pair of cotton sleep pants with a drawstring waist and a pair of socks.
“Put these on.” He said as he pulled out something similar for himself. They dressed quickly and went downstairs.
Draco held her hand as they entered the parlor where his parents were seated. Lucius looked like some sort of Lord or King sitting in a massive high backed chair with his legs crossed and his hands resting on the arms of the chair. Narcissa was sitting on the sofa, clutching one of Draco’s baby pictures in her hands.
“Ah, welcome back to Malfoy Manor Miss Granger, I do hope this time your visit was more…..pleasurable.” Lucius drawled, watching as she and his son both blushed.
“Thank you, sir.” She mumbled, squeezing Draco’s fingers.
“Mum, are you alright?” Draco asked, watching his mother stroke her fingers over the photo of him playing with Lucius’s cane when he was two.
“I’m sorry I…..interrupted. I don’t know what I was thinking….” She said softly, her eyes still wide. “Hello Miss Granger, lovely to see you again dear.” She looked almost intoxicated as she stared at them.
“Hello Madam Malfoy.” Hermione said softly.
“Is your back okay my dear?” She asked Draco dazedly.
“My back?” He asked, confused as he looked at his father who was still smiling like a lunatic in his chair.
“You have red marks on your back.” Draco closed his eyes, wondering when the humiliation would end.
“I’m fine mum.”
“Oh, that’s good then.” She said, nodding slowly.
“Just how long have the two of you been….seeing each other.” Lucius asked.
“Not long father.” Draco said as he pulled Hermione further into the room. “She needs to get back, she has head duties today since I came home.”
“Ah, go ahead and use the floo network, you can get into the common room from here Ms Granger.” Lucius said smiling.
“Thank you, sir.” Hermione said. She turned to Draco’s mother and smiled nervously. “Good day to you Madam Malfoy.”
“Good day dear, maybe next weekend you could come for Lunch and we can meet in a more….proper fashion.” Narcissa smiled warmly, though he eyes still looked somewhat dazed.
Draco led her to the fireplace and kissed her softly.
“I’ll be back soon, love.” He whispered before guiding her into the fireplace and watching her vanish in the green flames. He turned to see his mother walking slowly from the room, the frame still clutched in her hands.
“Fuck.” Draco said softly as he fell onto the sofa with a groan.
“Language, Draco.” Lucius drawled, smiling.
“You could have stopped her, you knew I had…company.” Draco frowned at his father.
“Ah, but this was far more entertaining. I can’t remember the last time I had such fun.” Lucius laughed softly.
“Great, I’m glad my humiliation could offer you such amusement.”
“You are full of surprises Draco. Ms. Granger?” Lucius’s brow lifted inquiringly.
“Yeah. Strange turn of events isn’t it.”
“I’m a bit confused, I thought you hated each other.” Lucius asked.
“Everyone in that school hates me, she is the only one who treated me with any sort of kindness or respect.” Draco said. “Somehow it ended up more.” He didn’t want to tell his parents about the nightmares.
“I suppose it could be worse, she is a very talented witch despite being muggle born. And she is quite famous. Will she be going back to London after school?”
“No, she has no family now, she will be staying in our world. She came into an inheritance and can support herself easily.”
“Well that should be a relief, at least you know she isn’t with you for the money.” Lucius said.
“No, she actually likes me.”
“Ah, well that was apparent, your back did look quite painful Draco….or is it Dragon?” Lucius teased.
Lucius Malfoy sipped his coffee slowly as he read the Daily Prophet. He looked up at his wife for a moment when she entered the room and seated herself at the table. Narcissa watched as Dilby, one of their house elves and brother to Dobby, set two extra places at the table.
