An Archangel?
Once more I bow to my reviewers and their ever so gracious comments and suggestions on this story! I’m sorry if thing seem a little confusing so here’s a summary:
Harry is a half angel half incubus: his mother was a princess and his father an archangel. Draco’s a demon prince whose grandfather, King Azazel, is at war with Harry’s kingdom. Harry and Draco are mates but Harry does not think he can be with Draco. Harry has too many bad memories and is now very wary of any kind of human contact, despite the fact that he isn’t human ;) ! Voldemort shows up trying to recruit Harry and Draco to join his armies, Harry thinks about it but in the end refuses. Draco finally learns exactly just what it means to have half an incubus as a mate….
Now that we are all caught up, onto Draco!!! And Harry’s angelic counterpart!!
Chapter 6
Draco and Harry gaped as they read the history of archangels.
History:
Archangels are the divine angel warriors of God. There are seven known Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Raguel, Zerachiel, Remiel, and Uriel. God granted them divine powers in order to protect the people of Earth and the Kingdom of Heaven from demons.
When the war between the two main demon kingdoms occurred, God sent out his warriors to negotiate with Lucifer, in order to stop the war. Lucifer claimed that he could not end the war, as they were run by demons that were not under his power. He then prophesied of when and how the war could end. He decreed that the war would end when the two kingdoms were united once more in love and that only the powers of the angels could kill King Azazel.
The Archangels, confused retold Lucifer’s prophecy to God. God then commanded Juriel, the third in command, to oversee how the war fared. Some claim that it was Juriel who killed Mael Ryuu’s wife and child, others say that he brought them to a place of refuge on Earth, in any case Juriel also disappeared after the death of Mael Ryuu’s wife and child. Today, Gabriel oversees the war and assists Lucifer in finding a way to end it, while the other Archangels defend Heaven and Earth against the renegade demons that escape from Hell.
Harry finished reading and stared in awe at the picture of the seven Archangels in the book. Draco looked at Harry.
“Let’s keep reading.” Harry nodded and turned his attention back to the book.
Mating/Marriage:
Unlike other magical beings, angels can choose their mates. When they do choose a mate, they become bonded for life, but when an angel’s mate dies so does the angel. In very rare cases angels mate outside their society, but not often. These beings are known as fallen angels because they are only half blessed, these creatures possess the purest heart and are often sought after by many because when a fallen angel mates they bestow upon their mates a blessing give their mates invincibility. For as long as a fallen lives so too does the mate live, young and unable to be harmed.
Draco turned to Harry who was still reading and stared in wonder. This gorgeous creature, was one in a million, and he was his. If he mated with Harry they would be invincible! Harry finished the passage and nudged Draco.
“Hey! Turn the page!” Draco mumbled an apology and turned the page.
Powers:
Archangels, as God’s divine warriors, are the most powerful of angels. Each has his own unique ability bestowed upon him by God. Michael is the leader of God’s army and wields the power of water. Gabriel is known as the left hand of God and wields the power of fire. Raphael watches over the Tree of Life and controls the powers of the winds. Raguel presides over the hosts of angels and controls the power of ice and snow. Zerachiel is watcher of the Earth and possesses healing powers. Remiel guides the souls of the dead to Heaven and has the power to see into the future, which no other being in Heaven can do other than God. Uriel guards the gates of Eden and holds power over the element Earth.
It is said that if any one of the Archangels was ever to bear a child, that his child would be stronger than all seven wielding all the powers of the Archangels. Because of this God decreed that all the nephilim born were to be slaughtered and their fathers, once archangels were stripped of their powers and became the Grigori, the demons that live in Hell. Of the many archangels, only these seven were left after the war.
Harry looked up in amazement. He, Harry Potter had all the powers of the angels and the demons and was the prince of a demon kingdom….tears came to his eyes and he jumped up and ran, leaving a very shocked looking Draco on the couch.
“Harry!” But Harry was gone. Draco sat in shock not only was his mate half incubus, the very race his kingdom was at war with, but he was also half archangel, the most powerful of the angels.
