Morning After the Night Before
A/N!!!!!!!!!! This is not Harry/Ron, well not this chapter. I'll put a warning up if there is any Harry/Ron or any other pairing in future chapters. This is Harry/Draco, a Harry/Draco pairing story, not a Harry/Ron story!
As the Gryffindor’s sat down in the Great Hall, there was a loud bang, closely followed by the unmistakeable sound of Peeves cackling laughter. Everybody ran for the door to see Peeves cackling above Dean and Seamus. “Peeves!” Filch shouted from the top of the marble staircase. Peeves cackled loudly and drifted off towards the Astronomy tower.
The Slytherins came up the dungeon steps, but quickly came to a halt as they laid their eyes on the entire house of Gryffindor. It was to no surprise that Draco Malfoy was leading them, with Pansy Parkinson following at his heels. Draco walked over to where Harry was speaking to Seamus, Ron stood next to them.
“What do you want Malfoy?!” Ron said. Harry and Seamus stopped talking, turning round to watch Ron and Draco.
“I didn’t want to talk to Potter’s sidekick that’s for sure. I just wanted to say that Granger doesn’t look like a mud blood anymore, more half-blood, without you hanging on her arm.” Draco smoothly lied about his real intentions, but Harry knew he hadn’t meant to say anything at all to Ron.
“Everyone, back to breakfast, a very busy day lies ahead.” Said Professor Flitwick, as he tried to shepherd everyone back into the Great Hall. As everyone began to sat down, nobody spoke a word, but as soon as the entire Great Hall had both the Gryffindors and Slytherins seated, the rumours began to spread as everyone began to talk about why Draco and Harry, the two most famous enemies to walk Hogwarts within the last decade, where not at each others throats.
As soon as the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs entered, the rumours spread to them and new ones where created. Luckily for both Harry and Draco, none of the rumours were even close to the actual truth. Harry and Draco quickly glanced at each other, both faces etched in fear. Grabbing his wand, Draco quickly conjured up a piece of parchment, and quickly, using his wand, he wrote a fast message to Harry. Draco’s wide knowledge of magic enabled him to transfer the parchment from his plate to Harry’s with only his wand
Harry read the not and gave Draco a curt nod. They both needed to think of a plan to hide the truth about why they had stopped fighting. Draco had said to meet each other after Potions, which they both had together first. Harry and Ron left Hermione in the Great Hall to go and collect their books from their dormitory.
“Harry, come on!!! We’re going to be late!!!” Ron shouted as Harry ran down the stairs to the common room. Ron scrambled through the portrait hole, dragging Harry and their bags along with him.
As they ran down to the dungeons they ran into Draco Malfoy coming out of an empty classroom. Ron didn’t stop running and he ended up running right into Draco’s side.
“OI! Watch it weasel!!” Draco shouted after Ron, as Ron disappeared round the corner. It was only Harry and Draco left in the corridor, and Draco was slowly turning round to face Harry. As Harry cautiously approached him, Draco’s eyes misted over.
“Are you going to kiss me if I get too close? Or aren’t you horny anymore?” Harry said, once he was about a metre away from Draco.
“I wouldn’t go anywhere near you, not after seeing your little show in the Great Hall last night with your ‘friend’” Draco pulled a face at the memory. What Draco didn’t see was that Harry blushed crimson at the realisation that someone had seen his little tease with Ron.
Looking up at Draco, Harry had a sudden urge to suck on Draco’s top lip. Harry gave in to the urge and gently coaxed Draco into opening his mouth and entangling their tongues together. Draco moved his hands up to hold Harry’s face and Harry wrapped his arms round Draco’s waist pulling their bodies together.
Finally when they pulled apart, both Harry and Draco headed off towards Potions. As they entered the classroom they were both astonished to find that Snape was not teaching and instead was Sirius Black. Harry recieved a few odd looks as he went to sit down with his friends. Harry looked as if he had just been in a fight, but Draco didn't look any different than usual except the small fact that his lip was ever so slightly, bleeding.
"Thank you for joing us Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy." Sirius said once both Harry and Draco were seated comfortably. "As I was just telling the rest of the class, Professor Snape has had to go to the Ministry to help them solve a potion problem. So due to this little glitch, I shall be taking you for todays lesson." There was a few groans from the Slytherins but all of the Gryffindors smiled.
During the lesson, Sirius gave them all hints on how to improve their potion skills, even Neville got the potion right with a bit of help from Sirius. Draco was too busy talking to Goyle, to notice Ron sneek up and switch his hair of a Unicorn with one of Draco's own hair, from which was on the back of his cloak.
Harry, Ron, Seamus and Dean all laughed their heads off when Draco's cauldron burst into flames. All the Slytherins looked at Draco, with his hair singed and gasped. Pansy ran up to Draco and started cooing all over him . Sirius quietly chuckled to himself, but then decided to send Draco to the Slytherin common room to sort himself out. Draco went without a word to anyone.
