Lilith Snape

The two teens walked through the school. Draco noted that Lilith wasn't saying very much and seemed to be very much in thought. When they got to the headmaster's office they found both the Head-master and Potions-master waiting for them.

"We figured since you had decided to go meet Draco," Albus said, "we would wait on the pair of you here."

"How are you doing Draco?" Severus asked.

"I'm well." Draco said. "I haven't quite figured out what is bothering Lilith."

"That's going to be quite a story." Albus said. He conjured the group some refreshments and said "I believe we'll let Severus begin the story while we eat."

"Draco, what I am about to tell you only the people in this room know and Lilith only found out days ago." Severus moved over by his daughter to help support her. "Did your father ever tell you that I was married before you got the letter about Lilith?"

"No, Uncle Sev." Draco said. "Father said that if you wanted me to know anything about your past I was to ask you and if you wanted to tell me it would be okay."

"Even if you'd asked," Severus said, "because of the plans that were put into effect I wouldn't have been able to tell you myself. You see I was married shortly out of Hogwarts to a wonderful young Muggleborn. While she was a Muggleborn witch she was a Kinfolk to the Were-Raven tribes and we were deeply in love. Voldemort was just coming into his power and many people were rallying to his banner. Your father agreed to work as a spy for the light in order that he wouldn't become too dangerous."

"As time went on, my wife and I began to expect a child. It was decided that your father would need back-up so it was decided that I would help him. To protect my wife and our just born Daughter who we had just bonded to my best-friends young son and my own God-child we took drastic action."

"My memory was modified." Severus said. "It was decided that my wife would tell the story that she had fallen out with me and married a friend of hers from school who was secretly a friend of mine as well. The problem was that this friends family, much like the Malfoy's had cursed the family line to only have sons. We had to weave several Charms and Potions to turn my Daughter temporarily into a boy."

"What was the name of the family your wife took shelter with?" Draco asked.

"The friend's name was James Potter." Severus said.

The platinum haired teen's face was blank for about 30 seconds and then he started dancing around the office.

"I knew it!" Draco said. "Father had told me I was bonded to a girl even though I was attracted to a boy. It makes sense now. Potter was the bane of my existance yet I'd have thrown myself in front of the Killing Curse to keep him safe."

"Don't even think of that Draco." Lilith said, a look of panic beginning to come on her face.

"Why?" Draco was stunned. "Mates protect one another as well as help with evening out traits of Magical Creatures."

"Which brings us to why you're to be brought into the story now." Albus said. "Please continue Severus."

"Remember when I told you that Lily, my wife, was related to the Tribes?" Severus asked.

"Yes." Draco said.

"Lilith is a Blood-Raven Royal." Severus said. "Blood Ravens have interbred with Vampires so much that they have many of the same traits. They have Mates that they can not do without. The mates can calm them whenever they lose themselves to the Blood-Frenzy. You will be needed to help her until she comes into complete control of her powers, by then the bond will be strong enough that the pair of you will be very difficult to stop."

"There's something else that young Draco will need to know." Albus said. "Young Lilith is the only person who will be able to stop Voldemort. That is essentially what is in the prophesy that he was so desperate to get hold of that time. It will be your job to see she's able to get where she needs to be to do so."
