Cut My Life into Pieces
*
"I fucking hate him!" Draco yelled as he burst through the portrait into his dorm. Blaise barely lifted his head from his pillow to look at him. He merely gave a muffled groan and turned over. Draco was disgusted at his lack of caring. "Don't you care what he did?"
Blaise sighed and pushed himself up into a sitting position. "Not really. He's ruined everything."
"Yeah, he has," Draco agreed, huffing and sitting down at the desk. "I don't know what he thinks, but this is not how it's going to happen."
"Huh?" Blaise asked, yawning.
Draco shook his head at Blaise's lack of attention. "He thinks he rules. Well, he doesn't."
"Yeah, well, maybe we should teach him a little lesson," Blaise said, a smirk growing on his features.
Draco paused for a second, contemplating the idea, then he smirked also. "What did you have in mind?" he asked Blaise.
"I say we break a few rules," Blaise said, grinning in an evil way.
Draco raised an eyebrow. "Just break rules? That's it? Come on, you can do better," he pressed.
Blaise shook his head, smiling. "No, break some of his rules."
"Oh," Draco said as understanding hit. Blaise nodded in agreement. "Perfect."

Blaise and Draco went to breakfast the next morning and sat down at the Slytherin table. Harry arrived a few minutes later. A few younger kids scooted hastily out of the way to make a place for him. He sneered at them and sat down.
Draco gave him a disdainful look before returning to his food. Harry glared at his audacity before starting to eat his own meal.
Halfway through the meal, Draco elbowed Blaise and nodded toward the Gryffindor table. There seemed to be an argument taking place. Parvati was standing with her hands on her hips, glaring at Ron and Lavender. Hermione was sitting placidly beside her, carefully ignoring the interactions.
Lavender looked pissed and Ron embarrassed. Parvati appeared to be yelling at the pair. After a few minutes, Lavender seemed to have had enough. She yanked Ron's arm and together they exited the hall, to the stares of many.
Harry watched them go, an evil smirk on his face. Blaise and Draco also watched as Lavender marched Ron from the room. Blaise raised an eyebrow at Draco. Draco nodded ever so slightly. They quickly finished their breakfasts and left the hall.
"Where'd he go?" Blaise asked as they came out of the Great Hall and out into the Entrance Hall. Draco looked around carefully. He then perceived some sounds coming from one of the unused classrooms. He motioned Blaise over to it and they stood, listening in.
"...Can't believe her! I have not changed since we started going out! Have I, Ron?"
"Uh... I don't know."
"Oh! You're no help! Her and Hermione, think they know better than I do! Excuse me, but I'm just as smart as she is! If she didn't have a crush on you, this wouldn't be anything."
"What? She likes me?"
"No, of course not!"
"But you just said--"
"I did not. You must have misheard."
"Okay..."
"Oh, she makes me so mad! I have to find a curse for her. Hermione Granger will no longer be after my man."
"But you just said--"
"Oh, Ron, get a clue! She's liked you ever since first year! She's just jealous because I got you first."
"I'm not a possession."
"Of course you're not, sweetie."
"Right..."
Outside the room, Draco was trying with difficulty to suppress his laughter. The conversation he was hearing was beyond absurd. He couldn't believe people could be so stupid. Draco was so busy trying not to laugh that he failed to notice the sound of footsteps approaching the door.
Blaise jerked him back at the last second and Ron and Lavender came out of the room. Ron looked surprised at finding them there.
"Malfoy," he said, frowning.
Draco simply sneered at him. "Having marital problems?" he drawled.
Ron scowled. "No," he replied scathingly. "Why are you talking to me anyway? Won't Potter have a fit?"
"I don't give a fuck what he does," Draco told him.
Ron looked shocked and even Lavender looked mildly surprised. "Are you kidding me? He'll flay you alive for so much as looking at me, any Slytherin for that matter."
"Well let him try," Draco drawled maliciously. "Personally I couldn't care less."
Ron was at a loss for words. Fortunately for him, Lavender spoke up. "You should care. He has more power than all the teachers put together. He could kill you in a second," she said.
"He won't," Draco said confidently. Lavender frowned.
"Are you so sure about that?" came another voice from across the room. Ron and Lavender whipped around. They squeaked in unison at Harry's sudden appearance.
"P-potter, we...we were--we just..." Ron stuttered, visibly shaking.
Harry moved closer, heat emanating off his body. "Just go," he whispered in a low and dangerous voice.
Ron and Lavender shook their heads violently and ran off as fast as they could. Draco rolled his eyes and rotated slowly on the spot to face Harry. Blaise stood in the background, bored already.
"What to do you want, Potter?" he drawled.
Harry glared at him darkly. "Were you just talking to Gryffindors?" he asked dangerously.
"So?" Draco asked dubiously.
"So that is not allowed," Harry told him.
Draco scoffed at him, causing his scowl to darken. "I don't care what is or is not allowed," he told him simply.
Harry moved even closer to him, not an inch away from him. "You should care because what you do affects how I treat you, and you wouldn't want me to change how I treat you, would you?"
"Hmm," Draco said, pretending to think, "Well, since you treat me like a slave, yes. I would like you to change because I'm sure as hell not going to." He then turned on his heel and walked away, leaving a fuming Harry Potter in the hall. Blaise raised a triumphant eyebrow at Harry and followed Draco.
"One rule broken," Draco said in satisfaction as they walked. Blaise laughed slightly at the conquest.
They walked up the stairs and down another corridor. They were a few halls away from their dorm when Blaise spotted Seamus coming out from another hallway.
"And I see rule number two," Blaise said with a small laugh. Draco followed his gaze and it fell on Seamus. He rolled his eyes, knowing what the other future had been.
"Rule number two, eh? Doesn't seem like it'll be too hard," Draco told him.
"Not everything has to be hard, you know," Blaise acquiesced.
"True, go to it," Draco said, allowing him to leave him. He continued on to the dorm.
Blaise walked quickly and soon caught up with Seamus as he rounded another corner.
"Finnigan!" he called.
Seamus stopped and looked back at him. He scowled as he saw who it was. "What now?" he asked.
Blaise walked up and circled behind him. He slid his hands around Seamus' waist and rested his chin on his shoulder. "Nothing, I just wanted to see how you were," Blaise asked, his hot breath washing over Seamus' neck. He felt him shiver slightly in his grasp.
"Stop it, Zabini," Seamus ordered. "I know you're just doing this to piss off Potter, and it's working."
Blaise kissed Seamus' neck softly, then licked a path up to his ear, following it with his teeth and tongue.
"Well yeah, but I'm sure you could enjoy it too," he whispered into Seamus' ear. Seamus closed his eyes, trying to stay grounded which was difficult with Blaise's hot breath on his neck.
"No," he said but quieter. "You-We can't. Potter would kill us."
"What's the fun without a little danger?" Blaise asked, nibbling on his ear.
"But..." Seamus trailed away. "...fuck," he whispered as Blaise began to trace tiny patterns on his stomach. He tilted his head back and Blaise took the opportunity to suck on the exposed flesh.
Seamus moaned slightly as Blaise turned him around. He leaned forward and kissed Seamus passionately. Seamus wrapped his arms around Blaise's neck, pulling him closer to his body. Soon they were flush against each other.
Blaise moved him back so that he was pushed against a wall. Seamus groaned and hooked a leg around Blaise. The kiss was fevered and rushed, a hot battle of tongues. Blaise pushed closer to Seamus. Seamus readily accepted his closeness.
"What the fuck is going on here?!" A voice interrupted the couple. Seamus immediately jerked away from Blaise, wiping his mouth. Blaise sighed in annoyance and turned slowly to face an angry Harry.
"What does it look like?" Blaise drawled.
Harry was breathing deeply, trying to control his rage. "Finnigan, get out of here!" he yelled. Seamus didn't need telling twice. He hightailed it out of there before more could happen to him. Harry then turned to Blaise. "Why are you and Draco so set on ruining me all of a sudden?" he asked. Blaise shrugged in answer. This did not satisfy Harry. He merely growled at him, pushing him to a response.
Blaise sighed. "We just feel like it," he told him.
"That is not an answer," Harry growled.
Blaise just shrugged once more. "Maybe you need to check your attitude. What makes you think Draco would ever be subservient to you, the Golden Boy?" he drawled maliciously, losing some of his natural good nature.
"He always has been," Harry said with just as much conviction.
Blaise laughed derisively. "Well, he won't be anymore. You're in for a rude awakening, Mr. Potter," he said with narrowed eyes. With one last glare, he turned around and strode off down the corridor.
Harry stared after him. He didn't like what had been happening over the past few days. This Draco was completely different. Something must have happened to make him this way. The only time he'd ever been this forward had been when Harry had first met him.
Since then he'd toned down his personality in many ways. He was no long the Slytherin Prince, if he ever had been. He let Harry do whatever he wanted. He had never tried to stop him in anything that he had done before, but now he was different.
Harry was slightly confused on what was happening. He decided that a visit to the Headmaster was in order, despite how much he despised the man. He needed answers, and he needed them now.
