A New Hope (Daddy, Look What I Found)
Chapter 7

After leaving the boy-who-lived to sleep, Severus made his way back to his lavish study to have a talk with his godson. He was dreading the oncoming conversation with the slytherin.
Draco was sitting in the chair behind Severus’ desk when the potions master entered the room. It was then that the ex-death eater realized just how much the young slytherin was like Lucius. The boy’s blonde hair touched passed his shoulders and his eyes we’re a vivid steel color. He was taller now as well; when he stood, he rivaled Severus in height.
Draco looked up as he saw his godfather enter the room. The boys first thoughts weren’t on the parchment that he’d thrown on the desk earlier, but on the boy resting in a room above him. “Severus, how is he?”
“Troubled,” was all that the older Slytherin could think to say.
“What do you mean ‘Troubled’?”
Taking a seat and pinching the bridge of his nose, Severus elaborated, “Draco, I trust you to tell no one of this,” He stopped waiting for a reply before saying any more.
“You need not worry, I don’t tell anyone what you and I talk about anyway,” Draco told Severus.
“The infamous Harry Potter, ran away form his relatives a few days ago. They weren’t very ‘warm-hearted’ toward him.” Severus paused to see his godson’s reaction.
“Merlin, Sev. What did they do to him?”
Severus closed his eyes, he didn’t want to say it, he didn’t want to think about it, and he didn’t want to tell anyone about it, but he would. He had to. “They beat and raped him, Draco,” Severus looked up from his thoughts to be bombarded with yet another question from the younger Slytherin.
“Is he alright, Sev?” Asked Draco.
“He’s pregnant, Draco,” the potions master said in all seriousness as he watched Draco slump back in his chair. The boy was clearly trying to take all this in. Severus wondered about Draco at this point. Why would Draco be acting somber toward hearing this news. There was something that the boy wasn’t telling him and Severus Snape was determined to figure it out.
Changing the subject, Severus picked up the piece of parchment that Draco had thrown on his desk earlier, “Now Draco, I haven’t the slightest idea how Lucius managed to figure out this piece of news, However there is nothing that he can do to you at this point and time so I’d advise you not to worry about it.”
Draco gave his godfather and professor a long stare before replying, “you know what, you’re right. Thanks, Sev.” And with that, Draco got up from his seat and made for the door. Turning back he said, “Oh, and if you don’t mind, I’ll be staying here for a few days…or until Mum gets back from her trip.”
Severus just nodded his head, thinking that if he was going to figure out what was wrong with Draco, it would be a hell of a lot easer with the boy close at hand.
After seeing Severus’ answer, Draco turned once again and left the room. Once he was in the corridor though, he didn’t turn left to go toward his rooms, but instead went up the stairs and into the guest wing on the manor.
AN: Well what do you think? I know it’s not that great but it will get better. I just wanted to write this chapter and let you know Draco’s reaction. Can you figure out who Harry’s boyfriend back at Hogwarts is now? Who the father of Harry’s child might be? Well let me know what you all think. If your lucky, you might find out who Damien’s other parent is in the next Chapter or two. And I’m sorry if I start to play Severus a little out of Character in later chapters…there is a good reason for that. Well Review!!! I’d love to know what you think. Tell me what I need to improve on!
