Chapter 7: Hogsmeade and the Twins.

Harry and Draco walked down the path to Hogsmeade, talking quietly to each other. They were both in a wonderful mood after the shower they had taken and the little nap. As soon as they had woken Harry had wanted to go to Hogsmeade to see the twins and find out how their shop was going, they hadn’t been at school the first couple of weeks because of business, and had had permission to miss from Dumbledore. Harry and Draco soon reached Hogsmeade and immediately made their way to the twins shop.

As soon as Harry walked through the door he was grabbed by a pair of arms and hugged fiercely by Fred, Harry had figured out to tell them apart in his third year, when Harry was set back down on the ground he was picked up by another pair of arms and hugged again, this time by George. Harry wasn’t even set back down on the ground before he was pulled into Draco’s arms and held tightly, Draco was sending his most hatful glare at the twins for touching his Harry.

The twins looked at Draco, then at Harry, then back again, they couldn’t believe what they were seeing, Harry Potter was being hugged and protected by Draco Malfoy and he didn’t seem to care one bit, he seemed to actually like it. The twins guessed that the rumors were true then, Harry and Draco were now friends, and a little more it seems. The twin’s faces broke out into smiles when they saw how their Harry melted into Draco’s arms; he looked so happy that the twins were willing to put aside their childish fighting for Harry’s sake.

Draco saw the look on the twin’s faces and figured that they couldn’t be so bad if they wanted Harry to be happy, Draco guessed that he could trust Harry with them, they didn’t seem like the type to hurt someone just because of something they heard from someone else. Draco would have gone further into his thoughts if one of the twins hadn’t of interrupted, Draco didn’t know which one, but he is taller then the other, if only a little.

“So Harry, how has the school year been treating you?” asked George.

Harry turned around and buried his face in Draco’s shoulder, refusing to look at the twins. The twins looked between each other before aiming a glare on Draco that screamed, ‘Tell us what happened or you die’. Draco took a step back taking Harry with him, now it wasn’t easy to scare Draco Malfoy but the twins just did it with one look.

“What happened this year Draco, why is Harry so afraid to tell us?” The twins said in perfect sync.

Harry grabbed onto Draco even harder silently asking him to tell them so he didn’t have to. Draco looked down to see that Harry was shaking some and could feel the moisture on his shirt growing, telling him that Harry was crying. Draco knew that it hurt Harry greatly that his closest friends, the people he considered his family, would turn on him like that, Draco wanted to kill them for making his Harry cry.

Draco looked the twins straight in the eyes so they could see how pissed off he was about what he was about to tell them. Draco told them about when Harry came back to school and no one would talk to him except for the teachers, about how his whole house turned on him, how all of them wouldn’t even look at him unless they were glaring, all except Neville that is, Draco told the twins how when they came down to Hogsmeade yesterday, the weasel and mudblood started to yell at Harry for hanging out with him, how he was so pathetic to have to hang out with him, he told them about how they only wanted to be his friend because he was the Boy-Who-Lived and that they didn’t need nor want him anymore because You-Know-Who was dead now. Draco told them everything up to the point where they walked back up to Hogwarts.

Draco could feel Harry shaking even worse then when he stated to tell them what happened. Draco held Harry even tighter, rubbing soothing circles on his back, telling him that he wouldn’t let them hurt him ever again if he could help it. Draco looked back up to see how the twins had taken the news, and to say they were pissed would be a major understatement. Fred and George Weasley looked like they were ready to kill there two youngest siblings and Granger, and then burn the bodies and spit on the ashes.

Fred and George couldn’t believe it, they couldn’t grasp why there little brother and sister would do that to Harry, he’s family, maybe not by blood but the Weasley family practically adopted him, Harry is their littlest brother, the one you scare away the guys that find him attractive, in Harry’s case at least, they just couldn’t figure out why they would turn on him.

Fred and George looked up at Harry and saw that he must be crying, if the shaking was anything to go by that is. The twins walked over to Draco and Harry slowly trying to get Draco’s attention, when Draco looked up he saw that the twins wanted to hug their little brother, Draco let go of Harry and pulled away, before Harry could say anything he was pulled into two pairs of arms and hugged until he couldn’t breath anymore.

Draco saw Harry struggling to breath and suggested that the twins let him go before they suffocated him, the twins laughed and let Harry go, but not before they hugged him one more time. Once Harry was let go he looked around and thank every god there was for making the shop empty for the day considering Fred and George just got back.

Draco suggested that they all go to the Three Broomsticks to eat and to catch up on everything that they missed while the twins were gone. They all agreed and they were off to have a nice hopefully quiet lunch, they should have known better that to expect the lunch to be quiet and peaceful.
