Charmed Harry

It had been almost a month since the group arrived at Hogwarts and so far there had been no attacks. They were beginning to wonder if there were any demons at all. The group had been able to sit in on the classes and Evan had a hard time not looking bored.

Right now it was 5:30 in the morning and Evan seemed to be the only one awake and was currently in the bathroom bent over the toilet. This had been happening for the last week and each time he had been so careful not to wake up Wyatt. He thought it was just a flu bug and would pass soon, but now was not so sure. It was then he made his decision to go to Madam Pomfrey. He stood, once he was sure nothing else would be coming out of him, and washed is hands and brushed his teeth. Looking at the clock by the bed he realized he had been in there for 20 minutes.

He had just laid back down when he heard Wyatt’s sleepy voice, “What are you doing up?” he was glad to realize his partner hadn’t heard him throwing up.

“Just had to use the restroom.”

“Ok, go back to sleep.” Was what was said as a hard body spooned up behind him. He snuggled back into the warmth and did just that.

Evan had somehow talked Wyatt into going with Chris for the morning saying he had some things he needed to take care of. When he was sure he was alone and not being followed he went straight to the hospital wing.

When he entered he saw Remus in a bed recovering from the full moon, which was the night before. Sitting on the bed next to Remus’s he waited for Madam Pomfrey to show. Which five minutes later she did.

“Well Mr. James what can I do for you today?”

“I have not been feeling well lately Madam.” He told her noticing Remus sit up when he heard his voice.

“Well lay back and let us see what is going on with you.” That said she began to say a string of incantations and he watched as her wand produced a piece of paper. He didn’t take his eyes off her and watched as her eyes about popped out of her skull while reading. It was then he started cursing at himself for forgetting that the piece of paper would tell her who he was as well as what was wrong with him.

“Mr. Potter, I should have known I hadn’t seen the last of you.” She said as a smile broke across her face, “They were fools to think you could do something like that .”

He just looked at her in disbelief. “What, you didn’t actually believe you capable of something like that? Please, I treated you after every fool hearty attempt to save the school.”

Evan just looked at her and stammered out an apology for thinking she didn’t believe him. She just waved it off and asked, “Now do you what to know what is wrong with you?” when he nodded she continued. “Well there is nothing really wrong at all other than the block on your magic, which must be removed. Do you mind if I do that now?” when he shook his head he removed the block and he could once again feel the magic flow through him.

“Madam, why did you have to remove the block? The potion we used was safe and I hadn’t been having any problems before this week.” He informed her.

“Well Mr. Potter, or do you prefer James now? I can see Remus isn’t shocked with the information of who you are so I can assume he knows?” she said looking at Remus.

“I go by James now for certain reasons, and yes Remus knows.”

“Well then Mr. James I had to remove the block as the baby thrives off your magic.” She said while looking at him sternly.

At that Evan’s hand flew to his stomach and he remembered that he and Wyatt had been sleeping together since he had taken the potion to bind his magic, and with out his magic he couldn’t perform the charms to stop him from getting pregnant. He had completely forgot about that.

“Now Harr…Evan I want you to come to me once a month for a check up on the baby. When you are five months along I will be able to perform a charm to tell the gender of the baby if you and your partner wish to know.”

Harry just nodded to shocked to say anything.

“For now everything looks good, you are about a month along, so you probably conceived right after you got here.” She said with a smile. She then told him he could go and released Remus at the same time, and told him if he had any questions to come to her.

Remus looked at Evan as the left the hospital wing. He could see the younger man was in shock and knew this had been an accident.

“Evan, are you ok with this? The baby I mean.” He asked unsure. He wanted Evan to be ok with it, but wasn’t going to push.

That seemed to snap Evan out of his stupor. He looked up at Remus and his face broke into a huge grin. “Yeah, I’m ok with it. Shocked, but ok. Wyatt and I had talked about kids, and I knew this could happen, but we had been so careful for years that I thought the first one would be planned. However things never go as planned where I am concerned, do they Grandpa Moony.”

Remus stopped walking and looked at Evan in shock. “Are you sure?”

Evan knew what he was asking and hugged the werewolf. “I am sure, you and Sirius are the closest thing to parents I got, so that meant you two are the baby’s grandparents on my side.” As he said that Remus pulled him into a big hug and Evan saw a few tears roll down his face.

Wyatt couldn’t believe it. After a month of nothing a demon attacked while he and Chris were sitting in the DADA classroom during class, and now they were chasing him down the hall. They followed him around a corner and suddenly he saw Evan and Remus ahead of him.

“Evan watch out.” He shouted to his beloved as the demon ran straight for them. He knew he wasn’t going to make it to him in time and it scared him half to death to think what the demon would do if he got Evan.

Evan looked up when he heard Wyatt yell and saw the demon coming straight for them. Knew the demon had seen him and recognizes the look that came over its face. That was the look they all got when they were going to use him to get to Wyatt.

He started getting a little scared until he heard Remus ground out, “no one hurts my cub.” He looked over his shoulder and saw the normally calm amber eyes of his surrogate father had turned hard and cold.

He watched as Remus attacked the demon and knew the wolf in him had come out to play. That demon didn’t stand a chance, he didn’t even get close to Evan. Remus somehow vanquished him in a couple of seconds surprising everyone.

When the demon was gone Wyatt and Chris both ran over to them and saw that Remus had regained control of the wolf. It was then that Wyatt realized that the wolf had adopted Evan as its cub and had come out in Remus to protect him.

Looking at Evan he realized something was off. It took him a minute to realize Evan had unbound his magic. “Evan what’s wrong, why did you unbind your magic?”

Evan looked at him and suddenly a look of apprehension crossed his face. “Wyatt there is something I need to talk to you about in private.” He said as he held out his hand, not realizing that Wyatt and Chris would think that to mean he was going to break up with him.

Chris went to go find the rest of the family to warn them about the break up and found them all in the DADA classroom with Sirius. He saw his mom looking at him and knew she knew something was wrong.

“Evan just took Wyatt to break up with him.” He told them, they had all been worried Evan would return to the wizarding world and decide to stay.

When he said that Remus’s head shot up. ”Don’t even think that, I know for a fact he has no intention of breaking up with him, in fact aren’t the two planning a wedding?” he said as Sirius agreed with him, Sirius knew Evan loved Wyatt and would never leave him.

“You just heard him, he wanted to talk to him alone, he unbound his powers, he decided to stay in this world and is telling Wyatt it is over.” Chris practically yelled, frustrated that his best friend was about to break his brothers heart.

“Listen I know what he is talking to him about and it is not what you think. I can assure you all though, he will NEVER leave Wyatt. Just give them a chance to talk and then he will tell you all what is going on.” He pleaded with them and they agreed to wait.

They had just gotten back to their quarters and were sitting next to each other on the sofa in front of a fire as it was late October it was chilly outside. Wyatt had never been so scared in his life. His love, his best friend was going to leave him. He thought things were going so well, they had been planning the wedding. What went wrong?

“Wyatt, I found out something today that I think you should know about. You remember when we bound my magic, well all the times we slept together after that were unprotected, and now your mom is going to get her wish. I am a month pregnant.”

Wyatt just stared at him. He had not expected that.

“Madam Pomfrey had to unbind my magic because the baby needs it to survive.” Evan told him bringing him out of his shock. It was then he realized just what his love was telling him.

“We’re going to be parents?” he asked with a smile. Evan nodded and laughed when he was tackled with Wyatt on top of him on the couch. He was quickly silenced when Wyatt placed his lips on Evan’s and kissed him with all the relief and joy that was now flowing through him.

After the kiss ended Evan realized Wyatt though he was going to leave him and just shook his head. “Wyatt, you realize that now that we are going to have a baby together you can stop worrying about me leaving you, I want my baby to have both it’s parents.”

Wyatt blushed at being caught and Evan just kissed him again.

The rest of the Halliwell group looked up when the two remaining members entered the room. They took in the smile on Wyatt’s face and the way he was holding Evan close to his side and knew the two had not broken up.

“You can all stop worrying, Evan is not nor will ever leave me.” Wyatt said, than his grin got even bigger and he said, “we want our child to have both parents in its life.”

Piper was the first to catch on and ran over and hugged the two. As the others caught on and began hugging the new soon to be parents there were two thuds heard and all turned to find Chris and Sirius out cold on the floor.

“Guess the information was a little to much for them.” Evan laughed as everyone went back to congratulating them.
