Chapter Seven: And For Once In His Life, Draco Fell Silent
I am sooo SORRY about the last chapter\'s font problem, I agree it really screws up the meaning, but I just fixed it. I read that, and I was like \"OHH SHIT!\" it was really funny.
Yeah, but thank you to Calena, Narcissa Black, Rita, Amor Desastreux, little_prongsie, Jen, emma, thrnbrooke, and Anon.You all are amazing, and it\'s so kind for the reviews. It keeps me going, and to Miss Rita, your English seems wonderful to me, but mind if I ask, are you foreign? I mean no offence, I was just wondering. Chapter Seven: And For Once In His Life, Draco Fell Silent
Harry had hid out on the balcony for the remainder of the party, watching his tears splatter onto the stone. Tom was not pleased about his absence though. As punishment, Harry would be accompanying Tom to the war. Tom really just wanted a reason to bring Harry along, for he hated leaving him alone with all those men at the castle. So in two weeks, they set of for the campsite Slytherin was currently at.
The old adage goes, \"Getting there is half the fun,\" and Tom could not agree more, for he rather liked the traveling arrangements. Harry and Tom were seated on one horse, Harry in front and Tom in back, his arms wrapped around the small body, steering the reins in front of Harry. He got to hold Harry without him struggling, for if he did that he would\'ve fallen off which Tom was sure was not too tempting to Harry. Not only that but Tom got smell Harry\'s silky hair, positioned right in front of his face for his convenience because of the height difference. Yes, this was by far Tom\'s favorite trip.
\"You see Harry? You even get to go outside.\" Tom whispered joyously into Harry\'s ear.
\". . .\" Harry turned away his head. Only to find Tom moved as well, positioning his face directly in front of Harry\'s.
\"I\'d let you out more if you married me.\"
\". . . no.\" Harry dead panned.
\"Not even tempted?\"
\". . . not really.\"
\"What can I give you? What do you want? What can I do? Anything, I\'ll do anything!\"
\". . .set me free . . . that\'s all I want . . . please.\"
\"No. That is the only thing I can\'t do.\" Won\'t do. Harry\'s mind corrected.
\"Then I\'ll never be anything more than your caged bird.\"
\"You\'ll grow to love me.\"
\". . .no, I won\'t.\"
Deciding it was time to change the subject, \"Harry, sing me a song.\" Tom demanded.
\"Which song?\" Harry asked in a hollow voice.
\"You pick.\" Tom contended.
\"Win dain a lotica,
En val tu ri,
Si lo ta.
Fin dein a loluca,
En dragu a sei lain.
Vi fa-ru les shutai am,
En riga-lint.
Win chent a lotica,

Silota,

Harry continued with his song, singing the high melody in a beautiful way. The guards traveling around them on horse back turned and looked at Harry admiring the unearthly song along with its singer.
Harry finished the song and was glad when the men finally stopped looking at him. He was self-conscious enough with Tom\'s constant crimson gaze, the last thing he needed was twenty more eyes on him.

Draco was at the head of the troops, leading the way to the campsite. Normally he would have been in the middle with the other leaders but seeing Tom cuddle Harry made him gag. He was waiting for Ron, His close friend of Gryffindor, who he sent to check on the middle of the troops. Ron had taken an unusually long time looking and just when Draco was about to turn around and check on the redhead, he saw him ridding up.
\"What took you so long?\"
\"Tom\'s little songbird was giving a performance.\"
\"You were watching a bird?\"
\"No Draco! That\'s prince Harry\'s nick name now since some men heard him sing and reported it to Tom.\"
\"That he was singing?\"
\"No that he has an amazing voice!\"
\"Well isn\'t that nice. ‘The Power Hungry Songbird\', that has a nice ring to it.\"
\"What do you mean? I, personally feel sorry for him.\"
\"Of coarse you would. You\'re a Gryffindor! He\'s your Prince!\"
\"That\'s not why I feel sorry for him, and he\'s not our prince anymore.\"
\"What do you mean?\"
\"It\'s been that way for two years! Don\'t you read the mail? I know Harry writes to you all the time!\"
\"I never heard anything about it.\" Tom said haughtily.
\"Well it\'s kind of confidential, and no one is supposed to tell except for Harry and Tom but I can tell you, your Harry\'s friend, and everybody else knows anyway. When Harry\'s parents died Vernon Dursely got custody of Harry and the elder Remus Lupin took over as a temporary ruler. Tom threw a party and Harry attended. But when he got there everyone was stunned because-well, you saw him. Tom already loved Harry and seeing Harry so beautiful sort of drove him off the edge. So, not a month after seeing him at the party Tom went to Harry\'s house and-\"
\"Offered to marry him, and Harry being the gold digger he was said ‘yes,\' but for some reason they haven\'t gotten together. Yes, I know the story.\" Draco said bitterly.
\"NO! Who told you that?\"
\"Ohh, then Harry begged Tom to marry him when he got there, and Tom had no complaints. That what happened?\"
\"No! Vernon sold Harry to Tom. Harry fought to get out of it legally; but only managed to find a clause. It said that in an agreement of nobles, there always has to be a way for a person to get out of it, or an alternative. Harry, he went and told Tom that. So Tom said that he\'d let Harry go if he could find someone to marry him in one month. We all offered to marry him, but he said ‘I\'m only going to ask the person I love and if that person says no, I\'ll resign to my fate.\' We don\'t know who Harry asked but they turned him down, it was so sad seeing Harry that way. He just sort of had a hollow look in his eyes. He still fought the deal but wouldn\'t ask anyone else to marry him. And as each day drew near to the end of the month, Harry slowly lost hope, it was like watching someone die slowly. We all try to keep a close eye on him cause\' one day he\'ll just snap and either kill Tom, kill himself. But what I\'d like to know, is who that bastard was! I\'d love to meet the pig who wouldn\'t help Harry.\"
And for once in his life, Draco fell silent.
