Quartz into Apple
The next day, in Transfiguration, lilly forced Remus and Sirius to split up. She was partnered with
Sirius, James was partnered with Peter, and Harry was partnered with Remus.
\"Tell him.\" Lilly whispered loudly as she and Sirius walked by. Unfortunately, James, Peter, Sirius,
and Remus all heard her.
Harry groaned and hid his face. Why? Why did she have to go and do that? Why did he have to
have such an embarrassing mum? Finally he looked up.
\"Prmise you won\'t tell anyone? Including James, Sirius, and Peter?\" Harry asked softly. Remus
nodded.
To everyone else, Harry just whispered softly in Remus\'s ear, who looked surprised. Soon Harry
and him whispered softly to each other in excited tones. McGonnagal frowned when she saw them
talking instead of working.
\"Mr. Peters, Mr. Lupin, since you two seem finished, can you please demonstrate to the class how
to transfigure the quartz into an apple?\" She called. Harry and Remus looked up in surprise.
Obediently, both of them waved their wands left and right, barely tapping the apple with their wands,
and they spoke the proper incantation aloud. Everyone watched as their quartz turned into perfect
apples. Remus\'s turned red and Harry\'s turned yellow.
\"Very good gentlemen. You are excused.\" McGonnagal announced. Harry and Remus left, speaking
softly to each other once again.
