Tom smiled, wiping the remaining tears away, and setting Harry on his knee.
“Now. Tell me about your day.”
“…Draconis was very nice. He told me all about what his mother’s like.”
“Did he really?”
“Yes. He said she sang him songs to go to sleep, and took him for walks in the garden, and…” Harry trailed off, smiling. “Master? Who is my mother?”
“Your mother,” Tom began carefully, “and your father for that
matter, were two of the bravest people I have ever known, and they loved you very much.”
Harry smiled, snuggling further into Tom’s chest.
“They fought valiantly in the war, and died protecting you. That is when I took it upon myself to raise you.”
“Did you know them Master Tom?” The child asked softly, wanting to know more about the parents he’d never known.
“Not as well as I would’ve liked to. I only met them once, but they were very good, kind people.”
“What did they look like Master Tom? Do you have pictures?” Harry sat up, looking into his foster father’s eyes intently.
“Your mother was a vision beyond compare. Her hair was like fire and her eyes likes emeralds. You, by Merlin’s grace, have her eyes. The rest of you though is most definitely your father. I’m afraid I don’t have any pictures for you though. Your house was destroyed when they were killed.”
Harry smiled softly and Tom pressed a kiss to his lips.
“They were very good people Harry, just as you are. I know you’ll make them proud. Their deaths will not be in vain.”
The small boy flushed slightly, and looked away. Taking his chin in his hand, Tom turn Harry’s face back towards him.
“I will always take care of you Little One. I love you.” Again, he pressed his lips to Harry’s this time though, he did not pull back so quickly. He tangled his hands in the child’s hair, and slipped his tongue out, requesting enterance to his ward’s mouth. Harry pulled back, confused.
“What are you doing Master Tom?” He had never kissed him like that before.
“It is a kiss Harry, a special kiss. It’s a way for me to show you how much I care; to show our love. You do love me, don’t you Harry?”
The black haired boy nodded, quickly. He had made his Master think he did not love him!
“Then show me.” And for the third time that night he pressed his lips to Harry’s, this time sliding his tongue inside, snogging the boy with slow passion. Harry tried to mimic Tom, and the man smiled into the kiss.
“That’s it Harry, just like that.” He whispered, and then began to kiss down his neck, licking and nipping at his juggular. Harry mewled with pleasure, still slightly confused, but assuming this was yet another way for Tom to show his love. Tom’s hand began to roam the child’s body, but he stopped himself once he reached his slender hips. With a farewell lick, he pulled back, smiling at Harry, who’s swollen red lips looked so delectable.
“Good night Harry.”
“I love you Master Tom.”
“I love you too Harry.”
