New Beginnings

Chapter 7: Accusations.

Sarah walked in to the common room just after Defense against the dark arts class with Professor Moraine. So far the first day wasn’t to bad, apart form the stack of homework they had received.
As Sarah was about to walk up to her bed room someone called her name. Sarah turned around and looked at Draco as he entered com common room.
“Can I asu sou something?” Draco asked.
“Yeah anything.” Sarah looked at Draco curiously.
“Why did you go to the potions class room early?”
“I wanted to have a chat with Snape. That’s all.” Sarah replied.
“Ok. Then why was Snape always looking at you?”
“I don’t know. I didn’t notice anything.” Sarah was confused.
“Sarah just tell me the truth. Is there something going on with you and Snape?”
“What?!” Sarah said in shock. “No Draco. That’s just weird. You accused me of being with another guy on the train yesterday!”
“Sorry. I just want to make sure.”
“I don’t know why you think I’m cheating on you. Is there something wrong with your head?” Sarah tapped her finger to the side of her head.
“No there’s noting wrong with my head!” Draco snapped.WellWell Draco I think there might be. I’m not the kind of person that cheats on their partner. You are.” Sarah poked Draco’s chest.
“No, not anymore.” Draco looked offended.
“Good, now I’m going to lunch.” Sarah walked over to her common room door forgetting what she had come to get from her room. Draco followed her.
“Sarah I’m sorry.” Draco apologized.
“I’m glad you are.” Sarah kept walking.
“I didn’t mean to make you angry. I was just asking.”
“I know what you were doing Draco and you don’t need to be asking me things like that. I would never cheat.”
“I know that now and I wont ever accuse you of cheating on me again.”
“Good.”
“Sarah!” Draco grabbed her hand making her stop walking. “Would you stop walking and forgive me?”
“Fine. I forgive you.”
“Finally.”
“Come on.” Sarah still held Draco’s hand and they walked into the great hall.

Ron watched Sarah walk in to the great hall holding Draco’s hand. He felt a little hurt. He knew that they would break up but when? In 5 years time? Ron couldn’t wait that long. It was getting to him how much he like Sarah. Every time he talked about her or thought about her he turned into a blubbering idiot. Harry noticed Ron staring in to the distance with clouded eyes.
“Ron?” Harry whispered.
“Yeah?” Ron looked at Harry.
“You thinking about Sarah?” Harry asked.
“Yeah.”
“Well maybe you should stop for a while.” Harry suggested. “You haven’t been eating or concentrating lately.”
“Oh, I didn’t know that.” Ron shook his head. “I can’t help it. I don’t know what it is.”
“You know Alyssa?”
“Of course I know her Harry. I loved her.” Ron sighed.
“Exactly. I think you love her Ron.”
“Maybe. But I’ve only known her really for about 3 days.”
“Have you heard of love at first sight?”
“Yes.” Ron nodded.
“Well there you go.” Harry laughed. Ron just looked up in wonder.
"Well can you blame me?" Ron sighed.
"No." Harry laughed.
“Hello again.” Hermione said down next to Harry.
“Hi Mione.” Harry said. Ron didn’t even take notice of Hermione.
“Ron?” Hermione called.
“Yeah.” Ron replied absent mindedly.
“Thinking about Sarah?” Hermione asked Harry.
“As usual.”
“When is he going to understand.” Hermione sighed. “He’s only going to get hurt.” Harry just ate his food.
