Chapter 7

AN: Sorry about the long delay, I had been working on my own stuff as well as taking care of family issues and dealing with my son’s surgery. I should start posting again at least once a week starting today. Hope you enjoy and thanks for the emails and the reviews.

Chapter 7

Harry scrambled off of Sarin as Severus moved closer to him. The anger radiating off of Severus could be felt, the room felt as if molten lava just entered it. Severus grabbed Harry and shoved him back against the wall. Sarin was scrambling to her feet. Harry gritted his teeth as a fresh wave a pain shot through down his back.

“Severus you’re hurting him.” Sev Severus glared into Harry’s eyes. “What the hell were you doing on my sister?”

“We…I…” Harry had lost all ability of speech.

“Severus,” Sarin grabbed her brother’s wrist trying to get him to let Harry’s shirt go. His grip was like a vice of death. “Let him go!”

Severus glared at his sister, not letting go at all and shoved Harry again into the wall. “How can you stand there and defend Potter?”

“That is my job Severus. In case if you have forgotten he is under my protect No Now let him go!” She glowered at her brother.

Severus released him with one last thrust up against the wall. “Keep your hands off, Potter! You’re lucky this time.”

Harry coughed and choked on the air he was trying to pull back into his lunges. He looked up at Severus. This was the first time Severus had ever hurt him physically. Harry couldn’t believe he had even asked him to choose for him. He glared at him even through the pain. “There won’t be a next time.”

Sarin stepped in between them. “Don’t say one word Severus!”

Severus glared at her, “Have it your way, but I swear if he touches you again, I’ll kill him.” He flung the derby hat at her. “It’s a port key to the station use it.”

Sarin checked her watched and cursed; they had three minutes to get on the train. “Move Potter!” She would have to deal with the young man there, and definitely alone. Severus had Apparated away, probably not trusting himself to stay in the same room as Potter. Well, Sarin really couldn’t blame him; right now she wanted to rip his throat out herself.

Harry was glaring at the derby like it was the back end of one of Hagrid’s blast-ended skrewts, the last the he wanted was to touch it. Sarin flung the hat at his chest and said the spell that would take him away with the hat and Apperated at the same time. She didn’t have the time to deal with such childish looking antics Harry had on his face. For Merlin’s sake it was only at hat.

When Harry landed with both feet on the platform he recoiled from the hat like it was a leprous disease, swatting at his chest to free himself of the contamination thathad had left in its wake.

“Merlin Potter! It’s just a hat.” Sarin told him as stooped down to pick it up.

Harry turned away from her; he’d hated port keys. He absolutely loathed them, and he wasn’t about to explain his reaction to the hat or any other reaction he had to anything to this woman, this sister of the daunting potion’s master of Hogwarts. He walked over to the train as the last few students looked his way as they themselves started boarding it. Sarin levitated the luggage behind them that she Apparated with herself to the platform. Sarin followed Harry as he made his way to the rear end of the train and went into the last compartment.

Sarin stopped at the entrance of the compartment when she heard the groans at the door. “But Harry, my Dad petitioned you for me.”

“No Pansy! What do you not understand; I don’t want to marry you. Now leave.”

Sarin watched as Pansy stayed seated where she was in the compartment across from the boy with short black hair. She had heard of Neville Longbottom, and knew he was the object of torment for Severus, other than Harry Potter himself. She appraised the young man sitting still watching Pansy like she was some vile Venemous Tentaculas, a plant that his hard to keep track of all the heads, it likes to eat people and anything that gets close to it.

Pansy looked at Harry. “I do believe this is the Hogwarts Express and not the Harry Potter Express.”

“You’re not wanted here, Parkinson. Why don’t you go find some compartment to go slithering in.” Harry retorted back.

Pansy stood and flashed him a smile, like that of one of a venomous spitting Cobra’s of Africa. “I’ll have you yet Harry.”

“Only in your dreams and even them I’ll fight you tooth and nail.”

Pansy walked past Harry as she scoffed at his answer. She came to the door and then looked up slightly to see who was in her way. Sarin narrowed her eyes and Pansy took a step back. “Who are you? I know who you look like, but…that’s….”

“That’s what Miss Parkinson?” Severus Snape asked from behind his sister.

Pansy looked from Severus to Sarin, she gave Severus a broad smile she saved for her head of house. “Sorry, Professor Snape. I was jusavinaving to go find another seat.”

“Be quick about it.” Severus looked over at Potter. “Ten points from Gryffindor for keeping one of Slytherin’s Prefects from their duties.”

Pansyriedried past Severus and Sarin and headed for the front compartment, she wanted to see what Draco was up too. Would be fun to watch Hermione Granger squirm around Draco, Weasley wouldn’t be a problem to put in his place. Her wicked grin was placed back on her face as she set a detention for a second year Gryffindor and her mood started to soar back in place. She still couldn’t get past that Professor Snape had a sister, but she wouldn’t worry about that now.
