Hurry!
Lilly and Siri slowly crept down the hall. As Siri made to use the stairway Lilly stopped him. “No, not the stairs. Grandmother said that there is another fireplace we can floo from down the hall.”
“What about dad and father?” he asked.
“Grandma said that they are gone. Daddy was hurt and Dad took him to the hospital.”
Siri gasped and paled. “I don’t want him to die,” Siri cried.
“Come, Siri, we don’t have much time. We must go now,” she said pulling her brother down the hall.
“Arthur Weasley is still downstairs,” Bellatrix told Lilly.
Lilly nodded her head and then said, “It can’t be helped now.”
“What can’t be helped?” Siri asked.
Lilly shook her head. “I was talking to Aunt Bellatrix. Hurry, Siri,” she said.
“Don’t call me your aunt, you little half-blooded abomination!” Bellatrix shrieked.
“Bella! Please, this is not the time!” Narcissa shouted at her sister.
“Shut up, Sissy!” she screeched. “Where are you leading them? Not to my bedroom?” she shouted.
“It is the only way, Bella. If they go down the stairs they will be caught.”
“I don’t want those filthy spawns of hell in my room!” she shouted and flew down the hall to stand in front of her door.
Lilly snorted. “Like that will stop us,” she hissed.
“Whom are you talking to now?” Siri demanded, stopping in the middle of the hallway.
“Grandmother and Bellatrix. They are fighting. Bellatrix doesn’t want us to go into her bedroom and is standing in front of her door.”
Siri looked down the hall. “Which door is it?”
“The last one on the right,” she said.
Siri marched straight to the door and slammed it open. “Try and stop me now, you freak!” he shouted. “Come, Lilly, lets go home.”
All of the sudden out of nowhere many ghosts appeared and swarmed around Lilly. At once they all tried to enter her body and posses it. She fought hard and tried to push them off of her, but they were strong. “Siri!” she shouted. “Help me!” she cried reaching out to her brother.
He stared stunned for a moment as he watched her fight against the air around her. He knew that there must be ghosts that he could not see and he raced towards her, reaching for her hands and pulling her into the room. He wrapped his arms around his sister and pulled her towards the fireplace. He frantically looked around for the floo powder and saw it above his head. He didn’t want to let his sister go, but he had to in order to reach the powder on the mantle.
“Hold on, Lilly!” he shouted and rushed to grab a chair and then pulled it over to the fireplace and stood on it and grabbed the bowl. Taking a handful, he jumped down and reached again for his sister.
“Siri,” she weakly cried. “Hurry,” she whispered.
He through the powder into the fireplace and yelled, “Malfoy Manor!” and watched as the flames turned green. He pulled his sister into the flames and took her home. A moment later they came through the floo tumbling onto the plush green carpet in the their father’s study. “Lilly!” he cried pulling at her.
She didn’t respond and he shook her again. “Lilly!” he screamed at her inert body, shaking her and sobbing. “Wake up, please, wake up!” he yelled.
Arabella’s eyes flew open and she immediately knew something was wrong. Standing in the room at the foot of her bed was Lucius Malfoy. “My granddaughter has need of you, woman!” he hissed.
“Where?” Arabella asked.
“The Manor,” he said curtly.
Arabella gasped. “She is not safe there!”
“She is unconscious now. Do hurry, witch, or it will be the last day that you breathe,” he hissed.
Arabella jumped from her warm bed and reached for the clothes that were in her closet. She had just returned home from St. Mungo’s and finally fallen asleep. She knew that Harry and Draco would keep Lilly safe and she needed rest after the cruciatus curse that Lestrange had directed at her. Reaching for her wand she ran for her front door and raced down the stairs. When she ran around the corner she disappeared.
“Please, doctor!” Harry shouted carrying Draco into the front doors of St. Mungo’s. “My husband needs help!” he yelled.
A moment later a medi-witch ran up to him. “What is this?” she demanded.
“Please, help him! He is bleeding everywhere!”
The medi-witch motioned for Harry to follow her and they raced down the hall towards an examination room. He gently set his spouse on a table and the witch flicked a wand removing his clothing. She then draped a sheet around his middle. “This looks like dark arts!” she exclaimed
“It is! He was hit with a Sectumseptra curse!” Harry said.
She looked at Draco for a moment longer and then said, “I am not familiar with this one.”
“Please, keep him safe! I know who invented the curse, and I’ll get him! I’ll be right back!” he said apparating away.
The medi-witch yelled for her assistant. “I need blood replenishing potions immediately!” she shouted. She looked down at Draco and started trying to close the wounds only to find that they were not closing. “I hope for your sake that your husband returns quickly,” she whispered to the handsome man before her.
“Severus! Severus!” Harry shouted running into his classroom full of first year students.
“I hope that this is important Mr. Potter?” he drawled.
“Draco!” he gasped. “Sectumseptra curse!” he cried still gasping for air. “St. Mungo’s!” he cried.
Severus raced towards his office yelling, “Follow me, Potter!”
Harry barely gasped in a lung full of air before he was racing off after Severus. Together they gather the ingredients that he yelled for and then they floo’d from his office to St. Mungo’s.
“Siri! Siri! What is going on in here?” Molly demanded. She had heard shouting and followed the noise to the study. “Who is that?” she asked as she saw him crying over a small body. “Lilly?” she gasped in surprise.
“Help her, grandma Molly! I can’t get her to wake up!” he cried hysterically.
Molly dropped to her knees and pushed Siri away. “Lilly!” she said trying to wake the girl. “Does your father’s keep any potions here?” she demanded.
Siri shook his head. “I don’t think so,” he sobbed.
“Where are your fathers?” she asked. “How did Lilly get here? We need to get her to St. Mungo’s!” Molly said picking the girl up.
“No! Wait!” Arabella Figg said entering the room. “Lay her on the couch and let me look at her,” she said.
Molly did as she was asked and stepped back watching as Arabella kneeled down in front of her. “Good girl,” she heard her say.
Arabella smiled at her young charge. She had learned well. It looked as if a soul had tried to enter her body and she shut it down as she had been taught, making sure that it could no longer enter her. Arabella muttered a few words and seconds later Lilly’s eyes opened. “Arabella,” she whispered. “You’re safe.”
“Of course I am darling,” she smiled with tears in her eyes. “You are going to be just fine!” She turned and smiled at Siri and Molly who were clutching tightly onto each other. “Is there any pepper up potion around here?” she asked.
Molly and Siri looked at each other for a moment and then they both threw themselves at Lilly. “I was so scared, Lilly!” Siri cried clutching his sister tightly.
“You were so brave, Siri. You saved me,” she smiled as tears spilled from her brilliant green eyes.
“Where are you father’s?” Molly asked.
Siri and Lilly paled. “St Mungo’s. Father is hurt,” Siri said.
Molly immediately paled. “Where is Arthur?” she demanded.
Lilly pulled Molly closer to her. “We had to leave him behind.”
“Where is she?” Rabastan screamed in rage when he entered the room and found it empty. “Where did she go?” He had tied Arthur Weasley up downstairs and came to demand information from the girl. He decided he wasn’t going to be nice anymore. He desperately needed money now to run and hide where Harry Potter could not find him.
He stormed from the room and threw open each door as he walked down the hallway. “Come out, Lilly!” he shouted as he threw open another door. “I promise not to hurt you if you come out now!” he angrily yelled.
After each door he felt his anger rise. He was tired of playing games with the little brat. He hated children and couldn’t stand being around them in any shape or form. All he wanted was for the little spoiled princess to talk to his ex-sister-in-law and tell him where the damn key was. Once he had the key she could disappear forever as far as he was concerned.
After each room was check he was so angry he was seeing red. He stormed back down the stairs to where he left Weasley tied up only to find his chair empty. “What the bloody hell?” he screamed. “Weasley!” he shouted so loudly he felt the widow panes rattle. “When I find you, I will kill you!” he screamed in rage.
