A Song Unsung

Hello there. Well after getting a rather ‘lovely’ flame emailed to me – and yes I read it over several times, it is a flame not criticism, I have to do something I don’t normally do and make my faithful readers think that this is a new chapter when in fact it isn’t. To address the accusations thrown at me by Miss Lesley, I have printed them here WITH my rebuttal for all to make their own damn opinions.

You make Harry seem dominant but is he, that is confusing me. You gave this great plan to really let loose on graduation day. But he starts early and is mucking it up.

*- I haven’t mentioned graduation day at all, not one little bit. If you came to that conclusion, then it is through your own mind and not by anything I have written. This is taking place during the school year. Do not mix this up with other Veela fics that run until Graduation.

1. Harry needs to get a clue about him being Draco\'s mate.

*– How the HELL can he know when Draco himself hasn’t told a soul and is in denial??

2. Based on the books Harry would have already of had magical blast.

*– Um, hello, what part of fanfiction don’t you understand? This is OOC, and I make that very clear from the beginning. I am NOT following the books, only touching on their storylines to keep it true. This is my own spin where I can see Harry and things heading. You want a devotee of the books – go someplace else.


NEXT Things that don\'t make sense with your story.

*– Yippee, just what I needed.

a. Harry becoming a man servant. During the potion class Harry did nothing to warrent becoming the syltherine Manservant. It was unreasonable of Snape to expect Harry to work with Malfoy after the knock down drag out fight. Plus, he was rude to Snape, not the Sylthrines.

*– Ok, first might I suggest you learn how to spell O devotee of the Books? Snape as we all know doesn’t like Harry and therefore would want to torture him and make him as uncomfortable as possible – pairing him with Malfoy to see how long it would take Harry to crack.

So if your saying he is getting double punishment for the fight with Malfoy, Dumbledore would not have allowed it. The golden boy thing.

*– Dumbledore is a manipulative old bastard, and I never said that he went to Dumbledore now did I? He COULD be bending the rules and – gasp! – lying! Use your imagination.

b. Your thinking with Snape, one minute your saying that Snape sees the danger signs of Harry joinning the dark lord and his Anger. ANd that he wants to prevent this. Thus how is Snape allowing his student to 1. abuse and humiliate harry, prevent his anger from unleashing. 2. teaching him the Dark arts not send him running to Voldemort or really make him a dark lord. You said back in the beginning that the Sylthrine students were a part of a resistance, taking the mark to stay alive, then why would they train Harry, it would become a bigger threat that Voldie. What you have created is a situation were Harry is going to hurt them, his magic is powerful.

*- Again I reiterate – spelling. He wants Harry to be knocked down a few pegs, yes, and there are other reasons but if I revealed them now then I reveal several important plotlines in the fic. Does waiting until the fic progresses further mean nothing to you??

c. Hello Hogswort has wards up that would prevent them from teaching Harry exactly what a Dark witch is. Also Why would they give Harry info that he could use to get them expelled. Or given the kiss. All Harry has to do is go to dumbledore and the ministry would come for them. Remember if they are using wands, it is easy to find out what spells they have casted.

*– Hello, everyone KNOWS Slytherins practice dark magic anyway - and if they don\'t, then they ASSUME they do! Slytherins have their ways around that, and besides, who said I woingoing to have the Slytherins doings something that would involve removing the wards? There are Dark Spells that can be cast inside them. Didn’t that occur to you when you decided to pick my fic apart?


D. Before his confrontation with Dumbledore, the Headmaster would not have allowed Harry to be the slythrine manservant.

*– Spellcheck. I CANNOT say it enough. You said this already and I already addressed it. Perhaps Snape lied!

He shows favoritism to keep Harry the happy pawn. Besides, nothing happened in the potions class that would warrent such action as being made their servant.

*- You don’t like to use imagination do you?

Plus Dumbledore wouldn\'t want to give them control of His golden boy.

*– MAYBE HE DOESN’T KNOW!!!!!


Plus placing Harry with Draco as Master with no time frame, would never happen. And now that he has to come up with a new plan he would end this punishment to make amense.

*– You don’t have a sense of patience or anticipation, do you?

E. Niether the old Harry or this new Harry you create, would have accpeted this form of punishment.

*– How the Hell do you know? I don’t believe in good and happy and light Harry, I believe in Dark Harry and I think he is a hell of a lot more plausible than what you want. I WARNED about this from the start. You don’t like it – find someone who writes the sub Harry that you do want.

Questions:
1. is harry doing the man servant thing during the times he has detention with Snape?

*- I cannot reveal that yet.

2. Why doesn\'t someone recognize that Harry saved the students when he spoke to the students? And why did Dumbledore send the message that Harry had no choice to talk to the snake, in order to save the students. And how did the Snakes Parents get into the Dungeon much less hogswarts.

*– Because Harry hasagonagonized and scared the bejeezus out of his classmates and Gryffindor House is prejudiced against anything that has to relate to Darkness in any way. And Harry dealt with the Anaspoors, he negotiated where they would live and didn’t tell anyone. Snakes (in case you don’t watch the discovery channel) can be fairly invisible and unseen when they want to be.

3. Why doesn\'t someone tell Hermonie that she failed Snapes Class because she during class Snape\'s class decided to out Draco (Snape\'s favorite student) with information she got while listening outside his door. That Harry had nothing to do with it.

*– Again, I don’t like Hermione, I don’t use her for much and didn’t anyone else notice the holes in that section? Foreshadowing is a wonderful concept you obviously missed.

4. Are you thinking that Harry would accept Draco as a mate after being mind raped, then having Draco spred his thoughts, especially those thoughts? Oh is there any reprecustion for Draco if he does not find his mate? If not you have given Draco all the power and made for a boring jounery and concluson.

*– Right now I am working on getting them to tolerate each other. WHY are you demanding the answers to ABSOLUTELY everything be revealed in the first five chapters?

5. Snape told Harry they can\'t use his body for sex, but Draco said yes he could, and Harry seem to accept this.

*– Harry hasn’t accepted a GD thing! He is looking at is a game with Malfoy.

6. Harry has more magic power, and physcial power how is it a tie.

*– Not time for that to be revealed yet.

7. True BDSM is about mind control

*– How do you know? Do you practice BDSM? I do. I know about it, and mind control has some to do with it, yes, but the rest is about domination. Who can dominate the other and mould them to their will. How old are you anyway?

I hope that puts an end to any questions that are lingering. I’m sure I don’t need to mention that this has me hopping, lividly angry and considering removing this fic from FFN completely – but I won’t. Because people like Miss Lesley amuse me and anger is a weapon – a powerful one.

I have left several threads unravelled FOR A *UCKING REASON! I believe in the art of Foreshadowing what is to come, letting the readers’ minds fill in the blanks (unless you are like Miss Lesley and are evidently incapable of doing that and need everything spelled out painstakingly for you), and leading the reader down several false tracks.

I have not made any false allusions about what kind of fic this is, I feature Dark Harry, Bastard Draco, Manipulative Dumbledore and Prejudiced Gryffindors. I plunge deep into the darkness of the psyche, and many of the emotions played out on here are my own. I have repeatedly said that if you are not into that kind of thing, don’t read it. I stand by that claim.

I was prepared to update this week with a new chapter. Now, I don’t think I will. I’ll wait until next week and add two instead of one. If anyone has a problem with this –thank Miss Lesley for infuriating me to the point that I can’t write anything fluffy and nice (which is apparently what she wants).

Anyone who wants this fic to continue, please let me know. Anyone else who is going to flame me – drop dead.

I’m 25 and I would just like to point out that YOU started this whole thing. I’m just finishing it. Oh, and I only read the Grow Up part of your email – I deleted the rest of it.
