Cynicism
I own not the Harry Potter universe and Absinthe can not be owned by anyone for she is a living soul I only helped to give birth too.
Chapter 5-Cynicism
\'Albus Dumbledore is an optimistic fellow, yes I am\' however Albus Dumbledore was not feeling particularly optimistic at the moment. Five hours ago the news had come through that Julienne Louvre, long been thought dead, had actually just died, at the hands of an unknown assailant. The ministry didn\'t release that it looked like the work of deatheaters. All they needed was a panicked group of witches wiz wizards. The part that even the ministry didn\'t know about was Absinthe. Dumbledore and Madame Pomfrey were the only two people who knew she existed, except for her father who was a criminal in Azkaban. The two of them were in his office with the door warded ten different ways. Dumbledore paced up and down and Madame Pomfrey was twiddling with her wand.
\"Is there any chance that she will use magic? We could set up alarms.\"
\"I doubt her mother even taught her how to use magic.\" Dumbledore frowned, he should\'ve known, he should have gone to her.
\"Is there anyone she would go looking for help from?\"
\"No, her mother made sure that she didn\'t know anyone.\"
\"How about a locating spell?\"
\"We don\'t have anything of hers to use.\"
\"How about Severus?\"
\"Severus Snape?\"
\"Do you know another? Well, couldn\'t he use his deatheater contacts. You did say it was the work of deathes.\"s.\" Albus almost lit up at the idea, then he remembered who they were talking about. Snape wasn\'t likely to help, especially if it meant using his contacts, but he had to try.
\"Absolutely not, it\'s out of the question. If they are after her and I rescue her it will give me away. Why is this child so important anyway? Hundreds of people
die everyday do to Death Eaters, why should this child be any different?\"
\"Well her name is Absinthe...\"
\"Oh please another child from a potions junkie, why should we bother, the world would be better off without her.\"
\"She\'s the daughter of Julienne Louvre.\"
Snape closed his mouth turned and left.
