Chapter 6

"This is by definition a bully!" Hermione cried, when they collapsed against a wall on the seventh floor. All three were winded. "Did we lose him?"

Think so.

Harry wrote as he panted.

What class is up here?

Magical Mysteries. Hermione wrote back.

Ron frowned he guessed if he wanted in on a conversation now he was going to have to learn this damn spell.

They entered a room and collapsed into their seats finding that the dog had kept up with them but seemed to be the only one who had.

Ron annoyed Hermione into teaching him the spell while they waited for everyone to catch up with them. By the time the room filled Ron was grinning.

Who Dog?

Harry blinked at Ron and hit him on the back with a smile.

Good job. Harry told him back. and I have no idea. I'm calling him Padfoot though.

The dog barked and Hermione rolled her eyes.

Padfoot approves of his name.

Of course he did. Harry could see the name over the Dog's head. Of course that wasn't the only thing Harry could see over the Dog's head.

Padfoot

Title: Sirius Black/ Animagus/ Marauder

Level: ???

Harry was confused but was keeping the information to himself. Though he did wonder what an Animagus was. He'd ask Hermione later in the library. He tried to focus on class as Ron quickly made his way over to his own seat so the teacher didn't tell him off.

Harry rubbed his head again. It was the end of the day and he only had a few classes left. He was cursing the Time Ward his Warding Teacher and the Magical Mysteries teacher had told them was around Hogwarts. It was just too long of a day and too much information. Though he'd shocked most everyone by doing so well in his classes.

Right now he and Hermione were paired up in Fencing Class.

This is mandatory?

Must be I didn't sign up for it. I didn't sign up for any of these physical classes.

Good point. Ron cut in.

While having gotten the hang of the spell he could still only do small words and short sentences. It was a simple spell but Ron was lazy and didn't train it up as much as he and Hermione were doing.

"Mr. Weasley, return to Mr. Malfoy this instant!" The teacher snapped.

You're asking for trouble pairing those two up. Are you a muggleborn by chance? Harry stated.

"Yes, I am." the teacher frowned. "Why?"

Because you're stupidly pairing a Malfoy with a Weasley. Harry wrote. That's just inviting them to kill each other.

"Why is that?"

"The Weasley's and Malfoy's are in a blood fued, sir." Draco and Ron explained. "Honestly, we'll try to kill each other."

The teacher frowned. Purebloods.

"Any other blood fueds I should know about in this class?" he snapped. He got no answer. "Malfoy, you're with Potter,  Weasley, with Greengrass. Granger with Longbottom."

"Ugh!" Daphne Greengrass said, wrinkling her nose. "At least I'll win."

Harry and Draco seemed to be perfectly paired for this class though they did get a little too in to it using the basics against each other trying to figure out which one of them was the best. Neither of them got detention and Harry won by a single point. He was very pleased with himself.

Hermione was shaking her head at the end of class. Poor Neville as shaky and clumsy as ever. He'd been doing fine until the teacher had stopped to watch and correct them both on their stances then it had just gone down hill from there.

Harry and Hermione had to pull Ron out of the room where he was ranting that Greengrass had cheated.

Daphne was smirking from where she was standing.

She prior lessons

She's a Pureblood, Ronald, I doubt she's had prior lessons. Fencing is a Muggle Sport.

Ron improved with the spell as he and Hermione used it to bicker on their way to Dueling Class. Harry just followed the words and rubbed his head. It hurt. His eyes caught sight of Tom and he cursed.

Harry? It was Hermione's blue writing and Ron's red writing both asking after him.

My head hurts. Has been all day. More accuratly. My scar hurts and what does it mean when my scar hurts?

You-Know-Who is close. Both replied. But where?

Doing well Harry? Tom's green writing appeared before them I'll have Severus brew you a Headache Reliever.

"OH!" Hermione said, her eyes going wide. She quickly explained in a hiss to Ron and elbowed him when he tried to talk. "Please excuse us we just remembered that we had a meeting with the Headmaster that we need to get to. Neville, would you please tell teacher the three of us are with the Headmaster?"

"Of course." Neville said, confused.

Dumbledore looked up from his desk as his three favorite students and the stray dog he kept hearing about burst into his office two began speaking at once.

"Please, calm down." Dumbledore said, "Sit. Lemon Drop?"

Hermione and Ron both refused Harry just rubbed his head.

"Harry's scar." Hermione burst out seconds after sitting. "Harry gave the dairy back to Lucius Malfoy at the end of last year in order to free Dobby. "

"Yes." Dumbledore nodded. "Go on."

Tom Marvolo Riddle Harry's gold writing appeared in the air. Is walking around this school, sitting close to Hermione in classes, and acting like a normal person who is not out to kill me. Everytime he's near me my scar........My head is exploding.

"Tom mentioned a Time Turner." Hermione continued. "If Harry gave the Diary back like he said, and Lucius Malfoy used a Time Turner on it that restored it back to it's rightful state then...."

"All it had to do was absorb enough life from someone or something to manifest and come out of the dairy." Ron picked up having finally caught on. "Freeing himself and ressurecting himself at the age he was when he created the Dairy. "

"Right." Hermione nodded.

Dumbledore cursed inside his head. This was not how this was supposed to go. Why had he allowed Harry to take that Diary?

"I see thank you for bringing this to my attention." Dumbledore said, gravely. "I was not aware that he was in my school. I will do what I can to try and keep him away from Harry but i'm afraid my hands may be tied. As for your pain, Harry, I will have Severus brew you a Pain Reliever..."

"That's exactly what Tom said." Ron complained.

"Excuse me?" Dumbledore asked, taken aback.

"Tom noticed Harry's been rubbing his head most of the day ." Hermione explained. "and right before we came here he said he would have Professor Snape brew Harry a Headache Reliever."

Hello, in pain over here. I don't care who orders him to brew it just get me one!

"Yes, of course, Harry," Dumbledore said "I'll walk you to Dueling and it will be ready by Potions."

So Dumbledore walked them to Dueling Class taught by renowned Duelist Alexander Magi. He apologized to the teacher on their behalf and did indeed spot Tom Riddle in the on lookers. He was not pleased.

Alexander Magi quickly learned that pairing Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy up in a practical lesson lead the two to a real duel, though he was pleased that they stuck to the attack and defense spells he'd been teaching them. He watched in awe as the two moved around sticking to their stances like seasoned pros and throwing spells at a speed neither should be capable of at this age. He was impressed. He finally put a stop to it before one of them injured the other as Potter's last spell had narrowly missed Malfoy's left arm.

He praised both and made a few minor corrections then paired with different people.

Outside of class everyone watched Hermione hit Harry on the back of head and give him a disapproving look.

He started it!

"That does not mean you had to engage and start showing off!" Hermione scolded not bothering with the spell. "You both could have been hurt! You're not a full strength, Harry, you should have been more careful. You know what? I'm telling Professor Snape. Let him lecture you!"

Harry and Draco finally teamed up trying to talk her out of telling their Head of House. To no luck. She burst into the Potion's Classroom and ratted them out.

Severus at least took them to his warded office before he began scolding the two of them and mostly Harry.
