Chapter 6: Away We Go

Riley took her seat next to Hermione on the plane. She hated flying; she wanted to portkey there, but the guys wanted to do it the old fashion way. Riley put on her seatbelt and leaned back closing her eyes. Hermione looked up from her book and could tell that Riley was nervous. She remembered her saying that she didn't like to fly at all. She just shook her head and smiled. 

Eric came up to them and laughed, "Come on bro, it's just a plane ride," he put his bag in the overhang and sat down. 

"Yeah a very long plane ride," Mike said sitting next to him. Ryan and Mike came in after them followed by Kelsey. 

Riley didn't know how to talk to Mike about Danielle. Maybe when they get to Fiji she will pull him aside and talk to him. Just tell him what she's been feeling. Hopefully this won't break up the band. She just didn't want to loose one of her best friends, but then she had to figure out what she's been feeling. 

Harry came stumbling in followed by Draco. Riley cleared  it with her friends saying that she could bring two friends. She decided to bring Harry and Draco, pretty much for protection. She would have invited Ron, but he and Luna have been busy with moving in together into their new place. So she decided on her two friends that didn't have much going on. Plus Harry would be able to see Sirius and they would be able to catch up. 

The captain came over the intercom and told them they would be on their way shortly. Riley undid her seatbelt and stood up. She went into her bag and grabbed a notebook and pen. Along with her ipod and a book. Things  that would keep her distracted during the plane ride. 

The doors closed just as she got back into her seat. All the guys were chatting away just as the captain came on again and told them that they were next to take off. Riley couldn't help but thank God that this was a private airline and that only they would be able to use it. 

They were clear for take off and Riley gripped her arm rest really tight as the plane started to move. Hermione looked over and smiled. She put her hand over hers and could feel the tension that she had. "You okay?" she asked. "Yeah I'll be fine once I'm up in the air."  Hermione kept her hand on Riley's until the plane took off. 

Riley closed her eyes and leaned back. She felt the plane take off and she just waited until it leveled out. This was going to be a long plane ride.

Three hours in:

Riley had her earphones in and was reading a book as well as taking notes. Hermione was reading her book and most of the guys were sleeping at this point. Harry and Kelsey were in the back looking through the bar to see what they can whip up to drink.  Kelsey finally looked over at Riley and Hermione. 

"So are you going to tell her?" Harry asked Kelsey. Kelsey poured Harry a drink and shook his head, "Not until the others get their memories back. Eric's starting to show signs and ask questions. He's asking about his dreams and why can he see flashes of things that seem real." 

Draco came over to join them. Kelsey looked at Harry and nodded. "So I take it you know?" Draco nodded. "Yeah, Harry told me as soon as he found out." Kelsey poured Draco a drink. "So what are we going to do with the rest?" Draco asked. The three of them looked over at the rest of the group and sipped on their drinks. 

Just then the TV's came on and there was Riley up on the screen, with her guitar. Of course Riley wasn't paying attention. "It must be one of her recording's she does. Some one found it." Kelsey said. 

Harry and Draco looked confused. Kelsey sighed, "Ever since she found Hermione she's been uploading these videos of her and her guitar and doing like these little speeches about love and finding some one. She doesn't mention any one by name. But we all know who she's talking about."

Every one started to stir awake and Hermione looked up from her book when she heard Riley's voice. She thought it was her actually talking until she noticed she wasn't talking and it was coming from the TV in front of her. 

"So I've been thinking a lot lately about life. Like when you find that one person, you don't want to let them go. I just don't know. I keep smiling every time. I just want you to know that I do think about you. This song is for you and I hope you enjoy it." 

Hermione didn't know who she was talking about or when this was recorded. Also Riley still wasn't paying attention. 

Video Riley tuned up her guitar and started to play a song. 

"I know you wanna talk

Hermione looked sideways at Riley again she wasn't looking. She looked back at the screen and listened to Riley sing.

Hermione started to blush. She knew what this song meant, but she didn't want to show her any reaction. Draco, Harry, and Kelsey were watching as the other guys were bobbing their heads to the tune. Mike looked back at them with his drumsticks and started to play along with guitar. Kelsey raised his drink up at him and nodded. Mike turned back to the screen and bobbed his head some more. 

"Please dont walk away

Now that we're alone it's so hard to listen

At this point Riley looked up and she looked horrified. She took out her earphones and looked back at Kelsey with a paniced look. Kelsey just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. Riley stood up and walked over to the three. "What's going on?" 

"Shame on me wanting you

What I'd give, what I'd do
I just want to work you out
Times like this I'm so glad that you can't read my mind
Shame on me another time."

"Guys this is about Hermione! How did this happen?!"

"I don't know. It just popped up."

Riley turned back to the screens and was relieved because she knew it was about to end.

Kelsey poured Riley a drink. "This is going to be a long flight," she said as she took a sip of her drink.
