Chapter Six- A Miracle

As, Roxy slowly awakes, she hears people talking, laughing and sharing stories about her. "Ron" she whispered softly. "Hey sweetie, I'm right here" he said squeezing her left hand. "Ms. Lanco, can you open your eyes for us" asked Dumbledore coming to her bedside. Roxy slowly does as he has asked. "Ahhh, there's those beautiful brown eyes, how are you feeling now?" "Like someone tried to kill me" replied Roxy half joking. "Well" said Lupin with a chuckle "that sure sounds like her sense of humor". "Ms. Lanco, I have good news, you will be making a full recovery. You are a very lucky young lady, it's truly a miracle you survived" stated Dumbledore. "I know, there's a reason I lived, well two, the main one being that my job to protect Neville is not over yet, and the other well it came to me while I was out, may I tell you?" said Roxy. A whispered conversation is then conducted between the two. "I can do that for you dear, hold on this might sting a little" said Dumbledore. "Okay, a little swish, a little whoosh and there you go, your own mark." Said Dumbledore. "Wow it looks so real. Thank you so much" replied Roxy. "You changed the Dark Mark, into a wolf with your initials, that's amazing" said Lupin. Thanks, it just came to me, if I'm going to be Neville's protector, I might as well have my own mark" replied Roxy. "Heck, your own mark? You should have your own group" replied George. "Yep" agreed Fred. "You want to wear my mark?" asked Roxy with a smile. "Yes, except can we have our own initials in place of yours. Oh great Roxy?" asked Draco. "Yes, and don't call me that, we're equals, not like the Dark Lord and the Death Eaters" replied Roxy. "Dumbledore, will you do the honor, and then will someone take me to see Neville please." "I would be honored" replied Dumbledore as he marked Ron, Draco and the twins. "By the way you are completely healed. No scars."

In Neville's Room

"Roxy, I am very sorry, it's just Draco scares me, you scare me, and both of you together terrified me, not to mention that you were both showing off the Dark Mark" said Neville. "Understandable, but I'm extremely nice, not at all dangerous to anyone here, but you have no reason to fear me, nor my cousin Draco here" replied Roxy. "I guess you're right, why didn't you defend yourself though" asked Neville. "Because, I would have killed you" replied Roxy. "Oh well" said Neville at a loss for words. "How about we start over. Hi! I'm Roxy" said Roxy with a smile. "Okay, nice to meet you I'm Neville Longbottom, thanks for rescuing me" said Neville with a shy grin.
