Draco unceremoniously dropped Harry onto the bottom bunk. He let out a sigh of relief. The idiot had gotten heavier with every step, or so he swore anyways. After running his fingers through his hair, he stretched the length of himself. He glanced over at the boy he had just dropped in bed. After he realized it had been several long moments of doing so he mentally slapped himself. He was NOT gay and he refused to admit he was even remotely bisexual. Moreover, even if he WAS bisexual he was certainly NOT attracted to Harry Fucking Potter. He shook his head. Out of generosity only he and a handful of others knew he was capable of, threw a blanket over Potter's sleeping form.
"Granger," Draco said politely enough the moment he noticed her. Even if he did not show it, he was a bit surprised to see her and another waiting inside the empty classroom. "I see you brought the pet Weasel," he rolled his eyes, "how predictable."
"If you hadn't of scooped up Harry like some maiden in distress and brought him here," Hermione emphasized the word 'here'. She never finished the sentence; instead, she opted to mutter something under her breath. She crossed her arms over her chest.
"Don't turn this around Granger," Draco growled. "You're still the one who went blabbering. Otherwise, everything would still have been left to speculation. At least as far as the Weasel is concerned."
"He was going to find out eventually," Hermione rolled her eyes.
"Not this way," Draco pointed out.
"Enough you two!" Ron had finally had enough of the bickering. At this moment all that mattered was finding out if his best mate was all right. The rest of everything else could be worked out later.
They both looked at Ron.
"Why isn't he in the infirmary?" Ron had taken a few deep breaths to insure his voice did not come out as venomous as he felt inside. He really did not like Malfoy being the one to make decisions when it came to Harry.
"He stayed up all night. Exhaustion is hardly a reason to condemn someone to a sick bed."
"I really doubt you two were studying," Hermione mumbled.
"Juggling is not only an act of a clown but of a good student as well. You yourself should know that." He smirked when he saw Hermione open her mouth and shut it just as fast. "I've got classes to get to." He motioned towards the door.
"May we come back later to check up on Harry?" Hermione could hardly believe that she was stooping to the level of asking permission to see her best friend. However, while things were decent between them and Draco she wanted it to stay that way. She was starting to miss the days she could just pop into the boys dorm to check up on him.
"Whatever. He's your friend."
Hermione nodded.
"Oh," Draco stopped himself from opening the door, "Harry had an idea. He mentioned liquid luck, Felix Felicis. Think you could brew us some?" He looked over his shoulder and directly at Hermione. "I'd owe you one and money is no object to me."
"I don't need money or anything else you could offer me. I'd do anything for Harry."
Draco nodded his head curtly. "Thank you."
"They're going to need it," Hermione mumbled the moment Draco had left the classroom.
Ron looked over at Hermione, his expression one of someone who had just come to realization of something huge that was oddly so simple. "So let me get this straight," he pushed his two index fingers together, "they are together, like together-together," he again pushed his two index fingers together.
"Yes Ron. Together-together," Hermione rolled her eyes. Rolling her eyes was becoming a habit, a bad one. She mentally sighed. "Not that either of them is overly happy about it." She added simply because she felt the need.
His eyes went temporarily cross with his girlfriend's conformation. "Blimey."
Hermione grabbed Ron's hand, "come on," she pulled him towards the door.
"You aren't planning on brewing that potion in the ladies loo again are you?" Ron asked in hushed tones as he dragged out of the room. He remembered the last time they had used the loo as a hiding spot while brewing a potion. While crafty, it was still a pain in the arse.
"Not that I've discussed it with them but I plan on using that empty classroom."
Ron nodded his head. "All things considered that is a reasonable request."
"Nice to know you agree." Hermione smiled and leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Thank you." She really did not care if she had anyone's approval, she was going to do it anyways- but still it was nice.
