A/N: Thanks for the reviews, had a bit of writers block there for a while. For a long while at that. Sorry. There’s been a lot of family problems that I’ve been dealing with.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
By the end of the night both Hermione and Ginny were wankered. They stumbled out of the club holding onto their respectable dates, both of them laughing like hyenas.
“Gin, wwherrree arrrrrrrrrrrrrre we?” this only made her laugh harder.
Ginny shrugged her shoulders and almost lost her grip on Blaise who lurched trying to catch her. He looked over to Draco who was having just as much trouble as he was, “Mate do you know where either of them live?”
“No, didn’t you go to Ginny’s house that one night?”
Blaise laughed. “I was drunk I don’t remember where it’s at.” he thought for a while. “I guess we’ll have to take them to our place.”
They apparated into their shared living room. “Good thing we went ahead and got the three bedrooms flat.” Draco stated as they carried the girls into the guest room.
Once the girls were in bed and knocked out they walked into the kitchen. “Mibsy.” Draco called. When the house elf appeared he turned to her. “If they wake up come get us, we don’t want them to freak out.”
“Yes, Master Malfoy.” She walked into the living room and they could hear her turn the TV on.
“Let’s hit the sack, there’s no telling when they’ll wake up.” they agreed and went to their own rooms to sleep off the alcohol.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Hermione was the first to wake up, at first she didn’t notice she wasn’t in her own bed, until she felt an arm snake around her waste and a slight moan came from behind her. She rolled over quickly to see Ginny sleeping behind her with a grin on her face. She looked down to see that she was still in her dress from the night before as was Ginny, with a sigh she got out of the bed.
Her foot landed on plush carpet and she looked down and then up at her surroundings, this wasn’t her flat nor was it Ginny’s. Her mind quickly registered what had happened the night before and decided she was either at Blaise’s or Draco’s house.
She tiptoed out of the room so as not to wake Ginny. She confronted with the deep purple eyes of a small house elf, who was wearing a pink and blue sundress. “Mibsy is here to watch you, Master Malfoy said to wake them when you awoke, I will go wake them now.” she disappeared before Hermione could say anything.
She could hear noises coming from two other rooms and stood their waiting. The first to walk out was Draco. “Good morning.” he said smirking. “Did you enjoy yourself?”
Hermione scowled at him. “Where are we?”
“In our flat.” Blaise answered for Draco. “We didn’t know where else to take you. Don’t worry as you can see you are still in your dress, we didn’t do anything to either of you.”
Hermione nodded. “Yes I can tell. What happened, because I don’t remember much of last night?”
“You and Ginny started playing truth or dare and we couldn’t stop you. She’s a lot drunker than you.” Hermione blushed. “Don’t worry you didn’t kiss Draco.” she blushed even harder at that.
She looked from man to man, “Will one of you show me where the bathroom is?”
“Go back in your room and take the door on the left.”
“Thanks, Draco.” she stepped back in the room and made her way to the loo. When she walked back out Ginny was sitting up in bed confused. “Hey Gin.”
She jumped and looked over to Hermione. “Hey, where am I?”
“Blaise and Draco’s flat, they didn’t know where to take us last night; it seems that we got piss drunk and couldn’t stand on our own. Don’t worry they didn’t do anything to us.” she added seeing her scared reaction. “Come on, get up, I think I smell bacon.”
Ginny tried to get up and grabbed her head. “Merlin my head hurts.”
Hermione laughed. “It’s called a hangover, now get up.” she pulled Ginny up and they slowly made their way towards the smell of food.
“Thank Merlin; I got a man who can cook.” Ginny said as she entered the kitchen and saw Blaise at the stove and Draco seated at the table. She made her way over to the stove and wrapped her arms around Blaise’s waste.
He quirked and eyebrow at her. “Are you still drunk?”
“No.” she said smacking him in the back of the head. “What don’t you want to be my man?”
He chuckled. “Yes but I prefer to have another date before we make that decision since you were too drunk to remember anything from last night.”
She shrugged her shoulders. “Ok fair enough. So when can we have this second date?” she looked around. “How about right now? Then maybe by tonight I can call you my man.”
Draco laughed and looked at Hermione who had seated herself next to him and had just spewed orange juice all over the table. “I’m not sure Miss Granger here wants a second date with me maybe I should leave.”
Another round of orange juice hit the table. She coughed and cleared her throat after a bit. “I didn’t say that, Draco.”
He smirked. “So then you want a second date with me?”
“I didn’t say that either just drop it.” he chuckled at her obvious embarrassment. “It’s not funny. Ginny hurry up so we can leave.”
Ginny looked at her friend. “Sorry but I’m not the one cooking so tell Blaise to hurry up, and I’m not leaving yet, Blaise and I are going to have our second date this morning.”
Hermione rolled her eyes. “Fine then, have fun, I’m going to the office to finish up some work.” she finished off her glass of orange juice and apparated to the ministry.
Draco looked over to Blaise and Ginny to see them making lovey dovey eyes at each other. He cleared his throat. “I’m heading out too; I have to meet my mom this morning. Probably another woman she wants me to marry.”
The couple at the stove didn’t even blink an eye in his direction. “So what do you want to do for the second date?” Ginny asked tracing the lines of Blaise’s shirt slowly.
“We could start with breakfast.”
She shook her head. “No I was thinking of something a little more personal.”
He raised an eyebrow and smirked. “What did you have in mind, my little lion?”
She turned and slowly walked out of the kitchen, turning at the door and motioning for him to follow her, he did as she asked and watched as she walked into his bedroom. He smiled to himself as he walked through the door to see her lying in his bed.
“Are you sure about this?” he asked as he made his way over to her. She nodded as he stood in front of her; she reached up and started unbuttoning his shirt kissing her way down his stomach to the edge of his pants. He pulled her back up to look at him. “Now, now we’ll have plenty of time for this later. Let’s have our breakfast and then continue to get to know each other some more.”
She smiled at him. “I like you, Blaise, you get right to the point.” she nodded. “Ok. I guess I’m still feeling a little bit of the alcohol. We’ll do it your way, for now.”
He laughed. “Yes, my little lion, we’ll do it my way for now afterwards you can do with me as you will.” at that a huge smile played on her face.
They walked back into the kitchen and started eating. “So why didn’t you get the job you wanted?”
“You mean why don’t I have you’re job?” he nodded. “I don’t know. The boss said that he already found someone to take the position. But later I talked to is secretary and she told me that it was because he didn’t think that I, being a girl and all, would be unbiased. He thought I would only want the girly clubs and drink the girly drinks and I couldn’t give a true assessment of the place. Then she said that he didn’t want me there because I was second best to a real war hero and if he couldn’t have the real thing then he didn’t want one at all.”
“That’s a bit harsh.” she shrugged. “Well I can put in a good word for you if you’d like, I know for a fact that we’re short handed.”
“No, that’s ok. I may not like my job that much, but Hermione would be miserable there without me.”
“I see so you let your friends dictate what makes you happy?”
A scowl played across her face. “No. I didn’t say that. She’s my friend and I don’t want to leave her there. Why should I be happy when she’s not? She’s like a sister to me. And she would have been my sister-in-law if Ron hadn’t been such a pig.” she looked down at her plate. “Merlin, how could they have done that to us? If it hadn’t been for us neither of them would be where they’re at now.”
Blaise furrowed his eyebrows. “Ok I take it we are not talking about jobs anymore.” he took her hand and she looked up at him. “Do you mind telling me what’s got you so down?”
She sighed. “It’s nothing. You already know some of it.”
He nodded. “So this is about Harry?”
“Yes. In a way. I mean how could he do something like that to me?” She looked up into his eyes. “How can I be sure you won’t do the same to me? I don’t think I could take it if someone else broke what is left of my heart.”
A frown spread across his face. “In a way I don’t blame you for thinking that I would do that to you. Me being a Slytherin and all.”
She laughed. “Ha. That has nothing to do with it. You’re a guy, they want one thing and once they get it they don’t want it anymore, especially if it’s not good.”
“Wait a minute,” he said with a smile. “We had sex just the other night; therefore according to you I already got what I wanted, so why on earth would I still be pursuing you?”
She blushed. “Well I guess you have a point there. I’m sorry.” She got up and walked around the table to him. “I’m sorry I judged you. But I need you to make me a promise before I decide to be you’re girlfriend.”
He pulled her down on his lap. “Anything you want I’ll do it for you.”
“Promise me that if you ever get bored that you’ll let me know. Don’t just start cheating on me.”
“I promise you.” he finished with a kiss.
