The Proposal
A/N: Hi all! I'm new here and hope that you enjoy the stories that I'll post on here. I will try to post updates regularly. I do not have a Betta and I have slight dislecksia so please keep that in mind as you read my stories. All I ask is that if you want to flame me email it to me rather than on my reviews. Tom felt the continued nagging at the back of his mind. This type of nagging could only mean that someone related to him by blood was in danger and needed his help. Only those descended from Salizar himself would have this gift granted to the family.
He quickly found Hermione sleeping in the library and nothing was wrong with her. So why was this bond reacting this way? Hermione was safe and sound in front of him. Then it dawned on him. Harry Potter was in danger and needed his help. He needed to get to the boy but how? He didn’t know where the boy lived but Severus did. He quickly left the room and walked down to the basement where Severus’ labs were.
“Severus.”
“My Lord. How may I be of assistance?” he asked as he bowed.
“Do you know where Potter lives?”
“Yes My Lord. Why do you ask?”
“The boy is in danger. My family bond alert is warning me and he needs help. Now where does he live?”
“Number four Privet Drive sir.”
“Good take me there immediately. We will bring him back here.”
“Yes My Lord.” Severus grabbed hold of Voldemort’s arm and apperated them out of the manor and to Harry’s front door.
Voldemort blasted through the front door and came face to face with angry muggles. “WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT! YOU FREAKS NEED TO BE RID OF!”
“DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I’M SURE PETUNIA OVER THERE KNOWS ME. I AM LORD VOLDEMORT AND NO ONE GETS AWAY WITH TALKING TO ME AS YOU DO!” and with that he killed all three muggles on the spot.
Meanwhile Severus had gone in search for the boy and found him naked laying in a pool of blood barely alive on the second floor in a bedroom if you could call it that. “My Lord come quickly!” Voldemort was there in an instant and stood shocked at the door at the site before him. Voldemort quickly snapped out of it and had Severus apperate Harry to Riddle Manor.
Once Voldemort arrived he found that Severus had already called the healer and had the boy laying on the bed that had been prepared for the boy’s arrival. The boy would live but just barely.
Later that day Severus saw Hermione and asked “Hermione? May I talk to you after dinner?”
“Yes you may. Why don’t we meet in the library at ten?”
“That would be suitable.”
“See you then Severus.” Hermione said as she continued walking to the training room in her sexy jump suit. Draco had been true to his word that Severus’ mouth would water every time he saw her. Over the past two days Draco and Hermione could be seen kissing every time they saw each other in greeting. Anyone could see the love and sexual tension coming off the two in heat waves every time they kissed. If Hermione’s outfits weren’t working on Severus then the kisses between Draco and her would.
Hermione walked into the training room to find Draco working out with his father. Hermione walked up behind Draco and kissed his neck. “Hermione, hey.” He said as he turned around and gave her a heated kiss.
Lucius politely coughed to remind the couple that they were not alone. Hermione and Draco parted as the cough was heard. “I think I will go find out what your mother is up to Draco.” He said as he packed up to leave so the two could talk alone.
“Ok father. I will see you at dinner at the manor tonight then.” Draco responded.
“We are staying here tonight son so dress appropriately.”
“Ok father. See you then.”
“Goodbye Mr. Malfoy. It was nice seeing you again.” Hermione said as Lucius took his leave. He politely nodded his acknowledgement and left. “Draco, Severus asked me to meet him tonight to talk. We are going to be in the library at ten. I want you to come but be hidden in case I need some support.”
“Don’t worry I will be there hidden by the time you and Severus enter. I love you and so does he no matter what he says tonight when you meet him.”
“Thank you Draco that means a lot. I love you too.” And she kissed him with all she had. Hermione groaned as Draco slid his tongue into her mouth expertly. Hermione kissed Draco back with just as much passion as he was kissing her. Draco slowly ran his lips from her mouth to her neck to her sensitive spot that he knew would do her in and it did. Hermione groaned as she ground her hips against Draco. Draco instantly became hard at the sound and feeling of her body rubbing up against his. Hermione felt his reaction and slid one hand into his hair and the other to his hip. Draco returned his lips to her mouth. Draco pulled away with a moan.
“Hermione, I need to shower before dinner. I know we planned on working out together but there isn’t much time left before dinner starts.”
“I know I’ll see you at dinner.” And with that Hermione left the room once more.
At dinner Tom told his daughter what had happened to Harry and promised that she could see him tomorrow. However, Severus couldn’t help but stare at Hermione and Draco took notice. /Maybe, the meeting tonight will go well after all./ Draco thought.
Finally at ten Hermione walked into the room in her dressing gown to see Severus sitting on the couch reading a book. “Severus?” she asked tentatively.
“Hermione” he said as he stood and walked to her. “I’m so sorry. I’ve been a git.”
“Yes you have Severus.” She replied.
“All I can say is that I don’t think I deserve you. You’re too good for me.”
“Severus. You have some issues but nothing that can be worked on. I want you for who you are and who you can be if you only give yourself the chance.”
“I know. I believe that with your help I may one day deserve you and treat you the way you should be treated.”
“You treat me just fine. You’re rough around the edges sure but nothing that letting someone love you won’t cure.”
“I have issues to work out Hermione. But after these past few days with the help of Draco I realized that all the reasons that kept me from you weren’t reasons at all. I was just looking for excuses and I couldn’t move on from the past. I have thought a great deal on these topics. I will always love Lily. She was my first love and I will never forget that. However, as much as I wanted her to she did not love me back. I need to move on and find someone who loves me back. I have found that with Draco and now you. I am ready to move on with my life and become a better man for the both of you.” He sank down on one knew and asked “Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife Hermione?”
“Yes. A million times yes.” She replied with tears streaming down her cheeks. She slowly lowered herself to the floor and was quickly embraced in his loving arms.
Draco stepped out from the shadows and slowly approached the couple. Severus took notice of the movement and looked up at Draco and smiled. Draco had never seen such a true smile on the man’s face before in all his years of knowing him. Draco mouthed the words “Thank you.” at Severus only to have “No, thank you.” mouthed back. Finally things were falling into place.
