Chapter 6: Unused Chamber

            Snape,
however, had to wait for the next couple of months before he could even leave
Hogwarts without rousing suspicion. He knew the law very well. A expelled
student couldn’t even write to their friends, telling them how things were
going, without getting a warning from the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts.
However Hap continued to send scrolls to Snape, his love telling him how the
baby was doing. One double Potions class Harry and Ron were working on their
potion and Snape heard them talking about Hermione and it wasn’t flattering.

   “I can’t believe I
almost married that whore,” Ron told his friend. “Having sex with Snape is just
as bad as having sex with You-Know-Who.”

   “I totally agree,”
Harry said.

   “Potter and Weasley
fifty points each from Gryffindor for calling your so-called friend a whore,”
Snape told them. “Get out of my classroom before I add another hundred to
that.”

   “But my potion,”
Harry complained.

   “Should of thought
of that before you said anything,” Snape said and he used his wand to wave
Harry’s potion away.

Both boys left.

            The only
people that were wondering where Hermione were Luna Lovegood and Neville
Longbottom. Luna visited Snape’s office that night, asking if he knew how
Hermione was doing.

    “I’m really
worried about her,” Luna said.

   “I’m sure that Miss
Granger is doing fine,” Snape told her. “Anyway, no student or teacher can
write to an expelled student until they get out of Hogwarts.”

   “Stupid rule,” Luna
commented.

   “That I agree
with,” Snape answered. “But dear Dumbledore has his reasons.”

Luna’s face turned red and she stalked out.

            The one hundred
point loss place Gryffindor in last place, making Slytherin end up in second
place. This got the Slytherins very excited; they had another crack at the
Quidditch Cup. However Snape no longer cared about cups or houses. The
Christmas holidays would start and he would be seeing his kitty cat again.

   “So what are your
plans this winter?” Professor McGonagall asked Snape one day, a week before the
Christmas holidays were to start.

   “I’m going
somewhere warm,” Snape lied. “I need a break from this damn cold.”

   “I’m going to visit
my grandchildren,” McGonagall told him. “Look, Severus, I’m sorry about what
happened. If I had the power Hermione would still be at Hogwarts.”

   “Yeah, whatever,”
Snape said, not sounding like himself. “Dumbledore rules the roost, so to
speak, and no one can go against him.”

   “Hermione did,”
McGonagall told him.

   ‘That she did,”
Snape answered.

            Soon, very
soon, the term ended and the students all lined up to take the Hogwarts Express
home. Snape went across the grounds and disappeared with a loud ‘CRACK’ and
arrived in an alley in Thebes.
Everyone was wearing winter coats and Snape used a simple spell that he had
found years ago to make people see him wearing the same thing they were
wearing. He then got onto a boat that would take him to w:st="on">Bubastis.

   “Are you sure you
want to go?” the man asked.

   “Yes, I do,” Snape
told him, thinking about his little kitty cat.

The boat traveled down the Nile,
Snape seeing ruins of temples that had long lost their usefulness. This wasn’t
the season for people to be visiting these temples and he hoped that he didn’t
raise suspicion by wanting to go. Finally the boat stopped in front of a worn
down temple and Snape turned to the man.

w:st="on">Bubastis,” the man told him. “However I don’t
come back for several hours. Have fun.”

Snape got off and the boat rowed away.

            The temple
complex was huge and Snape could see that at one time it must have been grand.
Snape could almost picture people coming here to seek the Goddess Bast’s help.
There was no one about and Snape had hoped that his little kitty cat hadn’t
forgotten him. Suddenly a cat darted out in-front of him and looked at him. It
was a gorgeous creature and the cat then ran off.

            Snape
followed it, running as it darted here and there. Sweat was rolling down his
face until the cat went through an instance that looked a little too new to go
with the rest. He stepped in and at once it was like stepping through time.
Servants dressed in Egyptian clothes were putting food on the table and the cat
was setting on a throne. At once it changed into his kitty cat and the servants
bowed.

    “Leave us,”
Hermione called, her cat-like crown glinting in the firelight.

The servants left.

            At once she
ran to him and wrapped her arms around him, kissing him. Snape groaned and
returned it with equal vigor. He had gone months without this and he couldn’t
hold back. He lifted her up and carried her to the large bed that was in the
room and laid her down.

   “I’ve missed you so
much,” Hermione said, nipping at his neck and causing Snape to groan.

   “Oh Gods, I’ve
missed you as much and I’ve missed this,” Snape muttered, moving his hands over
her body and making Hermione moan.

   “Please take me,
quick,” Hermione told him, “Because I don’t think that I’m going to last.”

Snape quickly undressed himself and entered her in one swift
movement. Hermione hissed in pain since it had been months since he was inside
her but the pain quickly disappeared as pleasure rocked her body. She wrapped
her arms around him and her legs around his waist to let him in deeper. Soon
the room was filled with their moaning, groans, and desperate need to be as
close as possible to each other. When she felt him fill her she screamed his
name and then purred.

            They made
love several times and Hermione glorified in her own sexuality and the love
that she felt for this mortal. Already she knew that he would make a great
father and that Akila would learn a lot from him.

   “How’s Akila
doing?” Snape asked her.

   “She kicks a lot,”
Hermione said as a plate of food hovered over to them.

She took some and placed it in her mouth and then gave him
some.

   “So how long are
you going to be here?” Hermione asked.

   “For two weeks until
term starts again,” Snape answered. “Luna and Neville are worried about you.
They miss you?”

   “I miss them as
well,” Hermione said, tears welling up and Snape wiped them away.

   “Don’t cry,” he
said.

   “It’s unfair,”
Hermione said more tears welling up and coming down. “Dumbledore had no right
to take what I did at the Burrow so seriously and what I did to that stinking
mortal, Ron.”

   “That I agree
with,” Snape said. “But unlike you, he’ll die and then life will move on.”

Hermione smiled at him and then wrapped her arms around him
and they both fell asleep.

            Time in
this world moved a lot slower though faster in the other world and soon it was
time for Snape to return to Hogwarts. They had made love more times then Snape
had ever had in his life and his lover was so passionate and for once the evil
that he had been forced to commit were gone. He felt as though his life was
perfect and as soon as he was able to get back he would be back, right where he
belonged.

However before he left Hermione handed him something.

   “This is my
statue,” Hermione told him. “Have an altar made for me and you can write to me
anytime that you want.”

Snape accepted the statue.

   “Thanks,” he said
and then kissed her. “And please let me know the moment Akila is born.”

   “I will and let me
know what my former friends are doing,” Hermione said.

   “I’ll send you a
huge letter with all the details,” Snape promised.

   “Thanks, Severus,”
Hermione said, whispering his name for the first time outside of passion.

Snape loved hearing it but he couldn’t wait for that new
word to be spoken, “daddy.”

   “Ah, Severus, your
back,” Dumbledore said when Snape entered the Entrance Hall.

   “Yes I’m back,”
Snape told him. “What do you need?”

   “Well we’ve been
trying to round up the last of the Death Eaters, the ones that weren’t there
when Tom was destroyed and it seems that they’ve all vanished, including the
Dementors.”

   “Well you should be
happy,” Snape told him. “Now if you will excuse me I have to set things up for
the second half of term.”

   “What’s in the
package?” Dumbledore asked.

Snape felt the sudden desire to hex him. He counted to four
before saying, “Headmaster I’m an adult. I don’t need someone to ask me what’s
in the package.”

Dumbledore grinned at him. “Just wondering who sent you a
Christmas gift that’s all.’

    “A dear friend of
mine,” Snape answered.

    “Well I hope that
you’ll thank this friend,” Dumbledore told him and thankfully he left Snape
alone.

            Back in his
chambers he conjured a beautiful table and placed the statue on it. Now he
would always have contact with her and deep down he hoped that she would be
alright. Of course, deep down, he knew that nothing ever turned out the way
that you wanted.

A/N: Nasty old coot. Next up: Snape finds out that visiting
Hermione is far and in-between but not Ron’s temper.

To LuvTheLibrary: I pulled my back several years ago and it
seems that every time I turn around I’m hurting it. Today’s been the worse. Oh
I won’t be posting Chapter 7 until tomorrow.
