Chapter 6
After what seemed like thirty minutes of just holding each other in the aftermath of very satisfying lovemaking, Ron looked at her. “Would you like a drink?” He asked.
“Yes.” She gave him a lazy smile. He gave her a quick kiss and got out of the bed. He put on his dressing gown and grabbed his wand, aiming at her and muttering a quick cleansing spell. She felt the sweat on her body and fluids between her thighs vanish. He repeated the spell on himself and left the room, giving her a wink as he left.
Pansy got up and reclined against the headboard, holding the bed sheet to her chest. Ron was amazing. He could have made it so bad, but he didn’t. He made her feel the most amazing things. Things she hadn’t known existed.
She thought about his promises. He would not treat her like a slave or a possession. He wanted her to be his partner. She felt such a connection to him now, closer then she thought she would. She had told him she would try to be a god wife, and she meant it even more now.
“Am I interrupting?” She looked up to see Ron looking at her from the door, holding two wine glasses.
“No, I was just thinking.” She took the glass from him and leaned forward as he arranged himself behind her, his long and toned legs on either side of her. She rested her back against his chest, feeling his breath on her bare shoulder.
“What was on your mind?” He asked, running his fingertips along her shoulder. “I hope you don’t have regrets.” He joked.
“Oh no, no regrets.” She said. “I was just thinking how I promised to be a good wife to you. I hope I started off well tonight.” She said looking at her wine glass.
“You have no idea how much that meant to me.” He told her. She looked into his eyes over her shoulder. “I grew up with everything I own being used and secondhand. My bothers clothes, used books, old toys, my frist wand was my brothers first.” She nodded. “I’m your first husband, your first lover. You may not have had a choice, and I know I asked for it, but you are a treasure. I appreciate you more then you know.” He said softly looking into her eyes.
“Ron, I want to tell you something.” She turned to face him. Ron put their glasses on the night stand and gave her his full attention. “When I first heard what the marriage law entailed I was terrified. When I found out I was parried up with you I was scared. I knew I would never be beaten or abused like some men do to their wives.” He nodded. “But that day when we spoke, when you said you would let me live a normal life,” he nodded, remembering the conversation well, “I told you that I would give you what you wanted, since you were giving me what I wanted.”
“Yes, I remember. I felt guilty about asking for it, but I felt you deserved honesty from me.” His fingers were still brushing her shoulder. His other hand rested on her knee that had found it’s way on his own in their cuddled position.
“I’m grateful for your honesty Ron and that’s why I’m being honest with you. When you left I couldn’t help but think how lucky I was that I was being married to a man who was leaving the decision up to me. I made up my mind that night that I would never say no to you, or refuse you when you wanted this. But after tonight that changes.”
His brow furled. “I don’t understand.”
“Well, I’m never going to refuse you, but it won’t be for the same reasons as it was then. Tonight Ron you made me feel so many things I didn’t know I was capable of feeling. I was prepared to deal with what would happen but I didn’t have to do that. You showed me how much I can enjoy it, you made me feel wanted and desired and beautiful. Whether or not you actually feel that way about me, that’s how you made me feel.”
“I do think your beautiful.” He told her, pulling her body closer to his. “You are wanted and desired.”
She smiled and gave him a soft kiss. “What I’m saying Ron, is that I won’t refuse you because of my promise. I won’t refuse you because you made me want you, and every time you want it, I want it.”
He hugged her tightly. “You know, you don’t have to wait until I want it, you can ask for it if you want.” He said smirking at her.
She blushed. “I’ll keep that in mind.” She leaned in and kissed him. It was passionate but not heated. Their bodes were more than satisfied. This kiss was two people showing their newfound affection for each other.
He looked down at her in his arms when they broke apart. “Do you think, maybe in time, we can learn to love each other?” He asked in a low whisper.
“I’m hoping Ronald, that we can have that kind of marriage eventually.” She answered. He cradled his new wife in his arms, just content with holding her. Pansy stayed where she was, engulfed in her husbands arms until she fell asleep.
The End
A/N:Thats the end of the story i originally wrote, sorry it took so long but i had handwriitten it and i had to get it on my flash first. i left this last chapter short because i was unsure of whether i would continue the story ot not. I had the idea of pansy experiences his life.Games, interviews and appearences, things that any pro athlete would go through. i also thought about telling how they actually fall in love. now that the story is posted, i will continued it like i had planned. i\'m still unsure.
