Just a side note, yes, I was listening to the artist in this chapter while writing..I\'m a dork. The end has a bit of oh lala for ya. Still gonna be a few chapters before full consumation of the relationship though. Trying to focus on the fun parts of dating and being young. Anywho..thats that, and enjoy!
Ch.6 Oh that was Terrible!
Hermione and Ginny were having a fun day at home. They had the blinds drawn, the cd player turned up and they were dancing in the living room, singing along to the corny music Hermione had unwillingly addicted Ginny to.
Currently, Britney Spears was singing ‘Oops I did it again.” And the girls were singing and dancing around their flat as though they were the most famous pop stars in the world.
Noone in their right mind would have believed Ginny if she told them about their de-stressing ritual, for who of sane thought could picture Ms. Know-it-all Granger cutting so loose and having such silly fun?
Draco missed Hermione. It had only be a couple of days since their kiss in the rain, but he longed to see her. He had completed another part of his paper and was currently bored. Maybe he should go see Blaise.
Since getting together with Hermione, they had seen so little of each other and Blaise was like a brother to Draco. Hmmm. He could always drop by Hermione’s to see what she and weaselette were up to.
He grabbed his things and with a mischievous grin on his face, walked out the door and made his way to Hermione’s.
He trot up the front steps and knocked…nothing. Strange, maybe she went out. He was turning to leave when he heard a scream come from within the flat. He whipped his wand out, unlocked the door, and ran inside.
What he was expecting, he did not know, maybe burglars? One thing was for certain, he would NEVER, in his wildest dreams have expected the sight that was before him.
There was loud music blaring, something about being a slave, he rounded the corner and found Ginny Weasley screaming with laughter in the floor. His eyes traveled to the couch where he nearly passed out in shock.
Standing on the couch, singing terribly off key was his Hermione. A huge smile appeared on his face. She was shamelessly doing a provocative dance, rolling her hips and chest, shaking her head while grabbing her hair.
Draco leaned against the wall and watched, wondering when the girls would notice his presence. The song ended and Draco chose his moment to speak.
“Wow Granger..” The rest of his sentence was drowned in the high pitched shrieks of the girls. Hermione tripped over a pillow and landed on her bum in the floor. She threw that pillow at Draco, calling him a prat.
Draco grabbed the pillow, laughing, and dodging all other flying pillows that were sent his way.
“Why didn’t you knock?” Ginny asked him, her face as red as her hair. He shrugged. “Well, I did knock, but you two were being so loud and screaming, I thought someone was hurting you, so I came to rescue you.”
Hermione laughed. “That is what Ginny gets for falling off the couch first.” Her face matched her friend’s. They all continued to chuckle for a few minutes before Hermione stood and turned the music off, tidying up the room.
When she was finished, she stood there awkwardly, adjusting the bottom of her shirt. Draco went to her and gave her a shy kiss hello. She smiled into it.
Ginny watched the exchange with fascination. First Draco Malfoy actually has a laughing fit, then he kisses a girl and means it! “Well you two, I told Harry I’d meet him for dinner, Hermione, you are on your own for food tonight. Be good kids!” she winked.
Hermione followed her to the door. “What are you doing? You can stay.” The thought of being totally alone with Draco was a bit intimidating. “Giving you some private time, duh.”
Rolling her eyes, Hermione handed Ginny her purse. “Have fun.” Her friend slapped her shoulder before heading out the door.
Suddenly feeling shy, Hermione approached Draco. “So, uh, would you like to stay for dinner?” Draco put his arms on Hermione’s waist, feeling the way she subtly stepped the smallest fraction away.
“Yeah, that would be nice.” He whispered before capturing her lips with his own. Hermione couldn’t stop the shudder that went through her. She gently broke the kiss and led him to the kitchen.
After a dinner of simple sandwiches and fruit salad, Hermione convinced Draco to watch a muggle movie with her. Draco didn’t need much coaxing. He enjoyed spending time with the witch. Even just sitting around with her company was nice.
The movie Hermione picked out was sappy. Some story about a woman paying a man to be her boyfriend to impress her family and win back her exboyfriend. Draco found the story ridiculous, muggles had some odd tastes, but he found the moving picture story fascinating. He had read about them, but seeing it in person was remarkable.
He had grabbed Hermione’s hand at one part of the movie, his arm then gravitated upwards and was now resting on her shoulders, his thumb occasionally rubbing her arm.
She sighed as the movie ended and she looked up at Draco. He thought she had never looked so beautiful, and he told her so. She swatted his hand. He laughed and she took the conversation to a more interesting topic.
“So, did you get a good show today in my flat?” He chuckled at her question. He leaned in closer to her face, gave her a sweet peck and replied, “It was just terrible! You can’t sing to save your life.”
He leaned forward as she indignantly punched his arm. He liked her punches, had since she punched him in third year. Damn he was such an ass back then. They calmed down and he put his hand on her cheek.
His lips followed and made their way to hers. She was rubbing her hands on his back and turned more into him. This kiss was different than any other they had shared. There was a hunger behind it.
Hermione gasped as his tongue ran along her bottom lip. Draco slowly moved his lips down her neck and to her sensitive collarbone. Hermione’s hand was moving of its own accord, slowly up Draco’s leg from his knee.
His hands caressed her waist, one breaking free and coming to the front to massage a breast. As soon as his hand found her nipple, Hermione moaned and arched her back, offering up more of herself.
Her hand had finally ascended upon the bulge in his pants and she cupped her hand, pressing into it. He groaned and gently pulled away, apparently broken out of his heat induced trance.
“What’s wrong?” Hermione asked, perplexed. Draco had lit a fire within her that she had felt for no man before. He looked at her and saw her innocence, her light, they beauty and passion that she held only for him and he smiled.
“Nothing, Hermione…my Hermione.” He said, rubbing her bottom lip with his thumb. “Which is why I’m now going to get up, walk with you to the door, kiss you on the cheek, and bid you a goodnight.”
He did so, leaving behind a hurt and confused Hermione. Did she do something wrong? What in the hell had just happened?
