Part 5

Harry stared at his wife, waiting for something, anything to happen. He didn\'t know where he was, all he knew was that he was in a dungeon and he was tied to a ring set into the floor. Ginny was across from him, out cold, her long crimson hair covering her ivory face. The only reason why he wasn’t going into screaming hysterics is because he knew that his children were over at Luna and Rolf Scamander’s place near the Weasley Burrow because it was Lorcan and Lysander’s birthday party, in fact all of the next generation Weasley and Potter children were there for the weekend. He looked up as the door opened and his cousin walked in, rummaging through a box on the wood table outside of his cell.

“Why are you doing this Dudley?” Harry breathed, staring at what was left of his blood family on his mother’s side.

“Because you forced me to Harry, you forced me to get your attention, to kill my mother and father, you did this to me. You just had to disappear after you saved everyone, you couldn’t even come back to say ‘ello to mum or dad, you just left and I was left to my own devices. I grew up knowing that there was another world out there, that there was something that could have me sent to an insane asylum, do you know how hard that is? To keep your mouth shut when you know there’s something more out there, that everyone else is blind to it, sometimes even willingly? Everyone except for the people living in it. It disgusts me that you can just forget about me, forget about your dear cousin in such a way and get married and have children. I am an ugly, worthless blob that will never be normal but you, you are naturally so normal, so perfect. You always turned the heads, you always had everyone’s attention. You are so fucking wonderful! It’s bloody horrendous!” Dudley had worked himself into a screaming rant, his face beet red as he clenched his fists. Harry glanced at Ginny who was still very much out cold.

“I want you to kill her Harry, I want you to cut out her heart and hand it to me,” Dudley’s eyes blazed as he followed Harry’s gaze to his wife.

“You’re insane if you ever think I would do such a thing to the woman I love. You’ve destroyed my life long enough,” Harry growled, his eyes level on his cousin.

“Oh you’ll do it, soon enough you will help me murder every person who has ever cared about you just as you forced me to kill off the only two people on this earth who ever gave a shit about me,” Dudley nodded, he looked oddly in control, sane even as he turned and went back to rummaging through his box.

“You’re insane Dudley, you need help! We can get you to somebody who can at least help you become normal again. Don’t you see? You’re just making things worse,” Harry pleaded to the back facing him.

“You really believe that I’m that stupid? You’ve known me since we were babies. You know you can’t say anything that would make me listen to you,” Dudley hissed, he slowly turned around, a long, sharp knife in his hands.

“I’ll even let you make it quick and painless,” Dudley opened the cage they were in and slid the knife to him. It thunked against Harry’s boot.

“I would do it before she wakes up so she’ll never know the man she married is going to kill her,” Dudley slammed the bars closed and kneeled down next to Ginny, reaching towards her. Harry fluidly moved forward, the knife in his hand as she slashed out at Dudley. He cried out, holding his hand to his chest.

“You touch her and I will make you regret it,” Harry growled, his other hand hovering over Ginny’s shoulder.

“I would do it before the poison finishes her off, cousin.” Dudley stood up, a cold, dead note in his voice.

“You’re disgusting,” Harry shouted at him as Dudley turned and started towards the door.

“You have about an hour I would guess and cousin, it’s only a guess,” Dudley smirked over at him before walking out, slamming the door behind him.

~~~~~!!!~~~~~
Harry stared at his wife, he felt dead. The knife stuck out of her chest, foam bubbled out of her perfect pink lips as her eyes stared up at the dirt ceiling. He lightly pulled her long silk hair out off her shoulders, caressing her neck and cheek before slowly closing her beautiful blue eyes forever. He had watched her convulse, scream, beg for mercy, for it to end and finally he couldn’t take it anymore, he plunged the knife into her and her last words were a thank you choked out on the dirty floor. He had screamed, cried, slammed his body into the bars, bruises and finally broken bones followed as he let out his anguish.
“Thought that Voldemort dude was your greatest enemy, no...I think the only person you should have ever feared...was me,” Dudley chuckled darkly, leaning against the open door.
“I will kill you, painfully, horribly. It will be the worst punishment ever thought up. I know magic, Dudley. I know more than you. I can make you pay for this,” Harry stared up at his cousin, his broken arm huddled against his chest as he pointed the knife at the other.
“You think that scares me?” Dudley smirked, turning and slamming the door behind him, leaving Harry alone once more.
