Chapter 5: Get on the Train Gang!
Hi! Shiny-chan here! I can’t believe I’m up to chapter 5 already! I love getting reviews so I’ll do my best to entertain you.
In response to my awesome reviewers:
To thrnbrooke: I’m so glad you like my story! I’ll do my best to keep ‘em coming for you.
To Bats: I think that Kurama is a Harry kind of guy in that he has both Slytherin and Gryffindor qualities. It is because he is
cautious, sly and cunning, but he has been impulsive as well, especially towards the end of the Yu Yu Hakusho series. You are
completely right about Hiei and his own house. Maybe I’ll do that in my next story!
To Tina109: I’m glad to see that you’re still reading. I’d like to ask your opinion, like if I should change something or what.
I’m always looking for constructive criticism.
Ok here’s chapter 5, on a gorgeous male stripper.
XD
Hiei closed his jagan eye as Kurama walked into their room in The Leaky Cauldron. Hiei had been sitting in the windowsill
facing the alley. Kurama looked at him curiously when he saw the smirk perched his face.
“That girl, Granger, is suspicious of us already. Potter just couldn’t wait to blab to his friends about us.”
“How can she be suspicious already? She hasn’t even met us yet!”
“She seems to think we might work for Voldemort. As if I would ever consider serving a human.”
“You know Hiei; she’ll continue to think that if you don’t cut down your homicidal tendencies. I do want to ask you about
Yukina. Have you told her that you’re her brother yet?” Hiei’s expression was cold as he looked out the window.
“You know the answer, stupid fox.”
“Shigure is dead, there is no reason to stay silent now. She already thinks of you as her brother.”
“None of your damn business you fucking nosy damn fox! Have you told Yusuke how you feel about him yet?!” Kurama looked at him
curiously.
“How . . . do you know that?”
“If you tried to hide it you did a shitty job.” Kurama lay back on his bed and stared at Yusuke’s bed, wondering what Yusuke
and his mother were talking about downstairs in the restaurant.
---------------------DownStairs-------------------
Shiori sat at one of the tables in the back of the room, waiting for Yusuke to bring their glasses of butterbeer from the bar.
She was insanely curious about the reason Yusuke had asked to speak to her in private. He had begun to ask her something
nervously, when they had been interrupted by the potential wallet thief. So their conversation had been delayed. She had her
suspicions though. Yusuke came back with a couple dark bottles and two iced mugs. He clunked them down on the tabletop and
sat beside her in the booth. Yusuke ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
“Um Minamino-san, I want to tell you more about the part of your son I know. He was so afraid to let you know what he is.
It’s like he thought you wouldn’t love him anymore. You are the most important person in his life; I mean he was willing to
throw his life away for yours on several accounts. The Kurama I know is a graceful, strong person who thinks out his every
move. He always has a plan, and his plans almost always work. His appearance is deceiving, enemies think he’s no threat, and
their faces are hilarious when he kicks their asses. His fighting is like watching a dancer, not a single wasted movement to
take out dozens of punks at once. He’s beautiful. . . I mean out in the ring. I’ve seen him almost die.” Shiori watched his
face as he was talking, noting the sincere and almost reverent look on his face.
“You’re in love with him aren’t you?” Yusuke turned an interesting shade of red, and buried his head in his hands. Shiori
touched him lightly on the shoulder. He raised his head.
“Yes, I am. I have been for a long time. It’s been at least a year and a half.” Shiori smiled at him.
“I would be happy for you if he returns your love. I’ve actually suspected he was gay for a while. All those girls that threw
themselves at him and he never went out with any of them. Good luck, Yusuke-chan. You’d be a good match for him I think. I
want you to call me Shiori-san” A grin slowly came over his face.
“Thanks Shiori-san! It was great to have this talk. I’m bushed. I’m going to bed. Goodnight Shiori-san!” Yusuke waved and
went upstairs. Shiori finished her drink and went to her private room.
--------Bright and early the next day---------
Kurama woke when the sunlight hit his face. He covered his eyes with his hands and got up, heading towards the bathroom. His
foot hit a pile of books and supplies. Resting on top of the pile was a note addressed to Kurama.
Kurama,
In the pile underneath, you will find all books, supplies, and schedule that you will need to be in all of Harry Potter’s
classes. I also need to let you know that Genkai is coming to be a teacher for a required class called Muggle Self-Defense.
Good luck with the mission.
Koenma
He tucked the missive into one of the robes and woke Hiei, who had fallen asleep in the window. However, no amount of nudging
could get Yusuke to awaken. Kurama began packing all of the supplies into their trunks, while Hiei kicked Yusuke out of his
way. Not even that woke him. Shiori came into the room and have Kurama a hug.
“Good morning, sweetheart. You know that we only have an hour to get to Platform 9 and ¾, right? How are you going to get
sleeping beauty on the train?” Kurama took out his wand.
“I’m going to levitate him. He’s not going to wake up anytime soon. He’s done this before. He’ll wake up when he needs to.
Will you ask Tom to get us a magical taxi? I have to finish packing up here.” Shiori left to call the taxi and Kurama quickly
finished packing up. He levitated the trunks and Yusuke down stairs and put them on the curb for the driver to place in the
trunk. He made sure Yusuke was settled in the backseat and Hiei appeared at his side.
“I refuse to get in one of those contraptions, Fox.” Kurama shoved him into the backseat. Shiori quickly followed so Hiei
couldn’t leave, and then Kurama got in and shut the door.
“Kings Cross Station, please.” The taxi arrived at the station about twenty minutes later. Kurama quickly loaded the trunks
and Yusuke on one of the carts and rolled it to platforms 9 and 10. Kurama and Hiei went through the barrier, and Shiori
quickly followed. They boarded the train and took a compartment near the middle. Kurama dropped Yusuke on the floor. Hiei
jumped up to the windowsill and Kurama and Shiori took a seat. About five minutes later, Harry entered the compartment with a
smile.
“Hey, I finally found you! What’s up?”
“Nothing much Harry, it’s good to see you. On my right is my mother and Yusuke is on the floor. In the window is Hiei.” Harry
nodded to Shiori and Hiei, who turned away. Yusuke continued to snore.
“Why did you guys leave him on the floor?”
“He refuses to wake up no matter what we do. Oh wait, I have an idea.” Kurama placed his wand to his throat and changed his
voice to Keiko Yukimura’s.
“YUSUKE! GET UP RIGHT NOW YOU’LL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL” Yusuke bolted up and tried to hide behind Harry’s legs. Harry moved and
sat down next to Kurama.
“My friends will be along soon to sit with us. I hope you get in Gryffindor, Suichi, because I have a feeling that we’ll be
good friends.” Kurama’s face lit up like a Christmas tree.
“Thanks Harry. I feel better now that I know someone before I begin learning in an entirely foreign school. What if I don’t do
very well?” Shiori snorted.
“As if that could really happen dear. You were at the top school in Japan, and always ranked first in academics and sports.”
Harry gaped at Kurama.
“NO wonder you know English so well! You’re like a genius aren’t you?” Kurama laughed.
“Not really, I just study hard.” Harry pouted.
“I wish that I would get grades that good.” The door to the compartment slid open and Draco Malfoy stood in the doorway. He
glared straight at Harry and spoke coolly.
“Potter, a word in private if you please.” Harry looked at Suichi and Shiori, and gave a tight smile.
“I’ll be back in a minute guys, it sounds important.” Harry followed Draco into the next empty compartment. Draco pinned
Harry against the wall.
“I’ll get to the point, Potter. Why the hell have you been stalking me?”
