Chapter 6: In comes the Wolf
The next morning they all headed North were Kagome felt another shard. The three girls were getting along well. They were getting to know each other in the back of the group. Harry and Draco were holding hands right in front of them with Inuyasha walking with them. Then Sesshomaru and Miroku with Shippo on his shoulders were taking the lead. Around about noon they stopped for a break and lunch. Kagome was making ranmen and Sesshomaru took Shippo out hunting for meat.
When Sesshomaru came back and set down a huge boar. Hermione stood up and smiled. She transfigured a small stick into a long pole and put the pole into the boar through the mouth and out the other end. She used her magic so it would be easier then it would of taken some else with out magic. Then she transfigured two more sticks into two poles that looked like two “Y's” to hold the boar over the fire to cook. Before they put the boar over the fire Sesshomaru skinned the boar of all its fur. When Shippo stepped up he handed over two rabbits. “Arigatou Shippo but I think the boar should be enough, but we can save these two for dinner. Arigatou Sesshomaru for helping me.” Hermione said to the two demons. “This is going to take forever to cook! How are we suppose to find shards if we are stuck here waiting for a boar to cook!” Inuyasha said all angered that they had to stop. “Anou, Inuyasha since my sister, Harry and I can use magic we can make the fire hotter so it will cook faster, but I like waiting its fun watching the food cook.” Draco said to the angered hanyou. “I don't give a Kuso what you can do just fucking do it I'm starving and want to find the shards!” Inuyasha yelled at the group from his perch on a tree. “Inuyasha?” Kagome said sweetly. Inuyasha knew what was coming when he started to jump from the tree when he heard it right in the middle of jumping. “Osuwari!” Inuyasha pummeled to the ground and made a Inu sized crater. “You know Inuyasha it seems like you need to open your ears. We are going to stay here and rest and have a Oishii lunch. Whatever it takes to cook the boar that Sesshomaru caught. Now Inuyasha settle down and be patient.” Kagome said to the Inu in the crater, who was growling and mumbling profanities.
Hermione hat already set to work and making the fire hotter so the boar will cook faster. Harry took two big coolers out of his trunk and put the two rabbits in it so they wont go bad and the cooler will make the smell of dead animal disappear. Then he put the cooler back in his trunk.
Half an hour later the food was done everyone sat around eating the boar. While Inuyasha sulked and ate up in a tree. “So lady Hermione in the picture that Harry showed us you had brown wavy hair witch was beautiful too. But you come here and your skinnier and have yellow hair almost white. How is it that your different then that picture?” Miroku asked. “Anou Miroku its Hermione no formality please. All my life I had on a glamour. A glamour is a spell to change someone's appearance and sometimes they mask there smell. Well mine and Draco's parents were on the wrong side of the war in our time. Our parents thought that the leader, the Dark Lord will take me away since I was the one born first. They didn't like that and gave me to a muggle family, muggles are non magic folk. Then they came to me when I turned 11 and when I got my letter from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. So I learned who I was and I couldn't live with them in till the war was over. The headmaster of the school knew everything. My parents and I made a deal when I turned 19 even if the war was over or not that I will tell everyone we knew who I was and take the glamour off. The war was over a year ago and a week ago before my birthday I reveled who I was to everyone I knew. Some people didn't like the fact that I kept this a secret for 7 years. So here I am a blond hair girl instead of a brunette.” The whole group listen to Hermione.
When everyone was finished they cleaned up. Kagome felt a demon with two shards coming to them. Then a whirlwind came to a halt in front of them. “Chiwa, how is my Kagome doing?” The demon asked walking to Kagome. “She is not your Kagome smelly wolf!” Inuyasha said jumping from the tree he was on in front of the wolf. “What's it to you dog breath she is not yours either.” The wolf said to the inu. “Anou, Kouga you have no right to call her your onna!” Inuyasha said. “It doesn't matter to you mutt I put my claim on her a very long time ago.” The demon said to Inuyasha. “ Inuyasha! Kouga! Please stop fighting I can have any man I want it doesn't matter who claim me or not. Its up to me who I pick and if you both keep fighting and being a big bother ill never talk to both of you. I will choose who ever I love not some claim over me!” Kagome yelled at the two.
The two demons stopped “Now if you both are calm down we can finished picking up camp and keep moving. But if I hear one peep out of both of you who's onna I am. I will be going home.” Kouga nodded his head yes. “OK Kagome I wouldn't mind traveling with you looking for shards. I wont bother the puppy at all.” Inuyasha was still mad. “Whatever just stay away from me and Kagome, Wolf!” When they finished cleaning up they headed northwest.
Three nights later they were walking looking for some were to camp and for somewhere the girls can bath. They found a great place to settle down. The girls were already setting up the tent for them. Sesshomaru and Shippo were checking there surrounding for any danger. Miroku, Kouga, Harry, and Draco were setting up another tent and making a fire. Inuyasha sat in a tall tree. “So Draco your in love with Harry. I knew two males could love each other. But if your in love it doesn't matter what gender.” Harry and Draco smiled at the wolfs question. “So Kouga do you love lady Kagome?” Miroku asked seeing the girls done and heading to the spring. He thought they couldn't hear them. “Anou yes she is pretty amazing. She is different from the bitches of my pack. She can read and write that is so cool. None of the bitches can do that in less your royal. I can get lost in her beautiful blue eyes. When I first met her I wanted her because her power to see the jewel but since I got to know her and fight beside her I fell in love with her I wish she could do the same to me and that dog breath will stop bothering us.” Kouga said to the three guys with him.
When the girls got to the spring and got in they were discussing who will brake first and through a threat or a punch, Kouga or Inuyasha. But when the girls heard what Kouga said when they were walking out of the camp was a shock to them. “See Kagome, Kouga loves you. If I was you I will get to know him and return those feelings. I would mind if Miroku said something like that.” Sango told her imouto. Hermione nodded her head yes and looked to the camp and smiled thinking of Sesshomaru Expressionless face.
~Back at camp~
“So Lord Sesshomaru do you like Hermione?” Shippo asked the demon lord. “Its none of your business kit.” Sesshomaru said to the boy. “But if you want to get to know her its pretty hard to do that out here camping every night.” Shippo said. 'Anou, the kit has a point I cant get to know her out here. Plus I wouldn't mind having her in my arms like the first night here in this time.' Sesshomaru thought.
The girls came back from there bath and Hermione saw Sesshomaru thinking and walked to him. “You ok Sesshomaru?” She said to her dream man. “Hai I am Hermione just thinking why don't we all settle in my home for a couple of days. Everyone is probably tired of sleeping on the ground and you lady's probably wouldn't mind taking a bath in my hot springs instead of the cold ones.” Sesshomaru told his intended mate. “That sounds great let me tell the other girls see if they are up to it.” Hermione jogged to the other girls by there tent and told what Sesshomaru said. “Anou that sounds awesome lets do it Kagome and plus you can get to know Kouga while we are there.” Sango said. “Anou I love the idea but you know Inuyasha he will never go for it.” Kagome looked at the two girls. "We will make him like it. Or I will hex him bad.” Hermione said. The girls called everyone to gather around the fire.
“ok Sesshomaru had a great idea to go to his home for a couple days and relax. Us girls love that how about you Kouga, Harry, Draco, Shippo?” Kagome asked. “HELL NO WE ARE...” Inuyasha said then Hermione interrupted “Kagome didn't ask you so shut up baka!” She yelled. "I think it is an excellent idea lets go.” Harry and Draco said. Everyone else but Inuyasha agreed. “Now Inuyasha everyone else wants to go. so shard hunt by your self then!” All three girls said.
Hermione grabbed Sesshomaru hand and sat down by the fire. So did Sango with Miroku and Kagome with Kouga. And Harry with Draco. Inuyasha was seething and hoped up in a tree. “We will be leaving going west in the morning.” Sess said looking down at there hands and smiled at his onna. He was enjoying her hand in his. “That's good how long will it take to get there?” Hermione asked. “We are not to far from there if we go west from here and walking it will take around 5 to 6 hours. The least.” Hermione smiled and looked at the others. Sango had Kirara in her lap siting next to Miroku. Kagome was sitting next to Kouga with Shippo in her lap. Inuyasha was up in the trees somewhere Then it was time to go to sleep.
The next morning they all were still with the same people as they were when sitting by the fire. And Inuyasha was by him self in the back of the group alone moping “So Inuyasha you decided to come with us?” Hermione asked the hanyou Inuyasha looked up at the blond hair with anger in his eyes. “Anou, I have no fucking choice do I?” She smiled and turned around to continue walking. “So Harry this is what you been doing the past year?” Harry looked at Hermione and smiled. “Hai, Its amazing don't you think. Travailing feudal Japan with new friends. I love it. Since Voldemort gone. I'm happy to tell the world to kiss my ass I'm gay and proud of it I'm in love with my school enemy and my best friends brother but hay lets beat this Naraku and live our life.” Hermione smiled at the man and her brother. “Hai, if father forgives me if that ever happens me and Harry can live at home together.” Draco said.
After three hours of walking Hermione's feet were hurting. Sesshomaru saw her pain and picked her up. “Arigatou Sesshomaru.” Hermione said. “Its my pleasure. If your feet hurt I will carry you.” Harry looked up and smiled 'I'm so glad that Hermione has found someone to love her and treat her with respect. Unlike Ron.' Draco's thoughts were the same thing about his sister. 'I can trust Sesshomaru to treat my Sister very good. Ill let him take her if she wants him too.'
“Chiwa, Sess wouldn't it be faster if we all travel faster?” Harry asked. “Hai it would. We will arrive there with in an hour or two.” So Sango Miroku and Shippo got on Kirara's back in he bigger form. Kouga picked up Kagome. Inuyasha was pissed at this. Then Harry and Draco took out there Brooms. They all raced in the woods to the western palace.
