Disclaimer Any resemblance to an actual fraternity or sorority is purely coincidental. This does not in any way reflect on actual groups.

Author's note--Final chapter! Yay! I hope you enjoy! I'm sorry I didn't get it up last night. I had it all typed out in the text box on AFF (and then I copied and saved it in a Word document). I clicked on "add chapter"...and it went to the "Daily Moment of Downtime" screen, so THANK GOD I saved it! And here it is! I have some links to "Dancing with the Stars" videos to help you see what I was thinking for this routine...if you want to look at them, anyway!

Thank you to everyone who read this sequel (and the original story)! I hope you enjoyed it, and MANY thanks for the awesome reviews!

Edited 11-27-07 I want to thank ZooArmy very much for pointing out in her review that I made a mistake with the Greek letters for a sorority. I have changed the Chapter note at the bottom.

Also, I FOUND THE VIDEO THAT YOU GUYS DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!! I have videos for most/all of the ballroom dance moves that Harry and Draco are going to perform for you...except for one because I remembered the move (from "Dancing with the Stars") but I couldn't remember who did it, which dance, or even what they were wearing! Full explanation below, but I have a new link for you, if you want to watch it!

Chapter 6

This is the Way I Dance

Seeing Draco and Harry a second time in their full costumes did nothing to abate the stares and jealous whispers among the audience. This time, they were standing on the edge of the dance floor with the other six couples, and the music was about to begin. There was a split second of extremely tense silence as the audience waited, and the dancers were in their first positions, for the music to begin. Draco, dressed as a stunning blonde bombshell, nearly had a panic attack, squeezing Harry’s hand tightly under his arm, but as the first strains of their familiar tango song swelled, he went into auto-pilot and swept out onto the dance floor with his co-dancers, the very picture of a haughty, high-class heiress. They clustered on the far end of the dance floor, utilizing their acting skills, watching the boys step onto the wooden surface.

Harry stared in Draco’s general direction; the spotlights above were practically in his eyes, and that made it difficult to see clearly across the dance floor. He knew, felt, trusted that Draco was there, and as he puffed his chest out, stepping lightly and perfectly in synch with the other male partners, his smoldering green gaze landed directly on Draco’s lithe form. Despite the women’s clothes and certain ‘accoutrements’ that made Draco’s shape a little more feminine, Harry was confident that he would recognize that body anywhere.

Harry and the other gauchos confidently tango-ed across the floor in rhythm to the music, holding their hands out to their respective partners and leading backwards, each couple ending up at their place in the circle with the guys on the inside and girls on the outside. The tango’s origins were in the brothels of Argentina, when the cowboys would ask ladies of the night to dance the passionate, intimate, and exciting tango. Stephen and Carmela adapted that story to portray the men as sophisticated cowboys ‘seducing’ the untouchable women, and while they were supposed to maintain distance between their bodies, the partners were to get closer and closer until they were connected from chest to hips by the end of the song.

Harry pulled Draco close to him and leaned in as if to kiss his cheek. He tried not to burst out laughing at the glimpse of a sparkle in Draco’s grey eyes as he rebuffed Harry’s advances (as the other girls did the same with their partners) and backed out of his arms into ‘proper’ tango position, snapping his head from side to side perfectly in time with the music. The group broke the circle into two staggered lines of four couples in one line and three in the other, performing the basic step across the floor, each of them chanting the one-two-tan-go-close count in their heads. At the edge of the dance floor, each girl kicked her leg up high, one after the other in a ‘domino’ effect, and the guy caught her ankle, placing it on his shoulder as the slit in each girl’s dress fell away to reveal up to her thigh.

Draco and Harry were the middle couple in the row of three, and every eye was on Draco’s silver-clad foot as Harry deftly caught his lover’s ankle, trying not to stare at Draco’s perfectly formed leg. Harry dropped his arm, pressing it against his body as Draco slid his foot down Harry’s arm. His other hand was bent, holding onto Draco’s elbow, giving him support as he balanced on one leg, controlling the slide. As his foot went past Harry’s fingers, Harry lifted his hand again, feeling Draco’s shoe glide back up his thigh. Harry sprung into action, bringing Draco to him as Draco dramatically hooked his leg over Harry’s hip in the llevada. Each couple was frozen in this position, waiting for the ‘domino’ effect to end, and once the last couple had clinched, the guys began stepping backwards in time with the music, the toe of the girls’ other foot (the one still on the dance floor) dragging sensuously. Halfway across, they all paused, and the girls brought their trailing leg under them and then continued pushing it between their partners’ legs (which were spread wider), toe still on the floor, so that they were depending on their male partner to support their weight as the men bent forward slightly, moving the girls’ foot on the floor in a ronde. The men stood up, giving the ladies their feet back. Now, they were shoulder-to-shoulder in one line of seven, and they did another waterfall with a lunging corte step, held for dramatic effect.

Moving back to closed position, the couples split, heading for opposite ends of the dance floor in promenade. Again, Harry and Draco were the middle couple in the line of three. Spread evenly across their end (and mirroring the evenly-spaced four couples at the opposite end), the couples moved back into open position for some fast-paced tango ochos. Harry swiveled Draco, trying not to look down to watch the dress whirl around, teasing him with glimpses of the perfect pale calf muscles. Neither of them missed a step.

Harry pulled Draco’s body close to him, feeling breasts pressed against his chest; the only sign of his shock, though, was a couple of rapid blinks behind his glasses. He maneuvered Draco across the floor in a series of rapid twirls, each of them looking away from the other dramatically, even though they were flush against each other and moving perfectly together to their position for the finale. Stephen and Carmela had positioned the other six couples in a ‘six-pointed star’ formation (with the couples at the points) with Harry and Draco in the dead center. Carmela had originally argued against having the two men be featured, but Stephen won, asserting that she would agree by the time the performance came around, citing that he had faith in them. At the edge of the formation, Harry let go of Draco and continued twirling twice more until he was in the center, alone, while Draco paused, arms held out gracefully.

It seemed only natural that Harry and Draco should be in the center, since they were one of the most striking couples there. Their chemistry was electric, and the crowd was enthralled during the entire performance. The tango was hot, sizzling, sensuous, and passionate. Every other couple in the star formation went ‘down’, where the girl slid down her partner’s body until she was sitting on the floor with one leg curled in front and the other bent to the side, the side of her face pressed into her partner’s knee, hands on his thigh, while the men grabbed their lapels, chests puffed out and faces up. The in-between couples closed in embraces, with their heads on each other’s shoulders (faces turned away from each other).

As the other couples hit their ending poses, Draco flared his skirt, tango-marching towards Harry, meeting face-to-face in the closed tango frame. Draco balanced on the ball of one foot as he raised the other in the air behind him, and Harry began to spin them. As they went around, they let go of their clasped hands and Draco stretched his arm out from under Harry’s tricep. Harry kept a firm grip on Draco’s back, supporting him, while he elongated his other hand out behind him. Draco arched his back at an angle, away from Harry, face turned outward with an expression of seductive serenity, and straightened his arms into two beautifully elegant lines, the dress swirling and ruffling around him. The rhythm of the music faded and the final chords began. Harry slowed their circles as Draco put his foot down, and as they turned back towards each other, Harry helped spin Draco a little bit extra so that his back was to Harry’s chest, Harry’s arms wrapped protectively around his midsection and the side of Harry’s face pressed into the hollow between Draco’s collarbone and jaw line as Draco flared his arms out, freezing just as the music died.

The crowd went absolutely wild, jumping to their feet and applauding madly. More than a quarter of the audience began fumbling for tissues, moved to tears by the dance as others let out wolf whistles and cheers to show their appreciation. As they were taught, the dancers came out of their poses and moved into one line again, with Harry and Draco at the center. The women stood to the side but in front of the men, clasping their partner’s hands, and together, the men bowed their heads as the women sank into low curtsies. They pin-wheeled around, bowing and curtseying in all four directions before breaking formation and waving, heading off the dance floor to find friends and family. Draco turned automatically to Harry, face shining, and was met with jubilant twin emeralds. Harry’s face was nearly split in two with his huge grin, and he grabbed Draco in a giant bear hug, lifting his boyfriend off the ground and spinning him around in elation. Draco grabbed Harry’s neck, burying his face into his arms, as Harry swung him around, and as soon as his feet were back on the ground, he raised his face and crashed his lips into Harry’s in a celebratory snog.

There were more wolf whistles from the guys in their fraternity who came out to see them as they crowded onto the dance floor, slapping Harry on the back and (out of respect for Draco’s current ‘identity’) gave polite hugs and cheek-kisses to the blonde. Marian and Tina came bursting out of the crowd, squealing with delight as they congratulated their friends, Tina wiping away tell-tale tear tracks from her cheeks and vehemently denying that the performance made her cry. Carmela, on the other hand, came up to them crying openly (“tears of happiness”, Stephen translated), pinching Harry’s cheeks and patting Draco’s, as she chattered on in Spanish, telling them how wonderful they did and not realizing that they didn’t understand a word of it. Stephen shook both of their hands, trying to keep a straight face and failing as he told them what natural dancers they both were.

Scott informed them that he had lost a little bit of money taking bets on whether they would screw up or not, and he cackled gleefully at Harry’s red face when he asked the black haired boy whether or not he was hard after that performance. Harry couldn’t deny it, so he opted for not saying anything, which prompted Scott to throw his hands in the air victoriously, spin around and point at Mark, screaming out, “HA! I TOLD YOU SO! I WIN!”

“Dude, you two are randy little bitches,” Mark grumbled good-naturedly, digging in his pocket for the twenty dollars he owed Scott. Harry grabbed Draco around the waist again, sliding his hands lower until he was cupping Draco’s arse (in the middle of the dance floor) over the back of his dress.

“Yes, yes, we are,” Harry agreed as everyone else blushed and giggled. “But this is the way I dance.” Draco put up with it for about a second, and then he wiggled out of Harry’s grasp, charging around the room and hugging the other girls as they exchanged “Good job! You too!”s. There were several from Harry’s psychology classes that came up to congratulate him, as well as a number of strangers, including a group of fourteen starry-eyed girls who were all wearing the same t-shirt, which was black with pink lettering. The shirt had both of their faces on the front, with three Greek letters underneath. On the back, it read “Harry + Draco = FOREVER” with a pink heart. Harry obligingly gave each of them hugs but got the distinct feeling that he was being ogled and salivated over like a piece of meat.

*

“Hey, did you see that group of girls?” Harry asked Draco as they lounged on the couch, later on that night.

“The ones with the same shirt?” Draco clarified.

“Yeah,” Harry said. “I thought I recognized one or two of them from somewhere, but I wasn’t sure. What was up with them?”

“I don’t know,” Draco replied. “But they all came up to me and whispered that they knew who I really was and how perfect you and I are together. It was like they knew us or something.”

“I felt exactly the same!” Harry exclaimed. “They were practically drooling over me!”

“Drooling? Really? SOMEONE has a high opinion of himself,” Draco drawled, grinning as Harry reached over and punched him playfully in the shoulder. “Well, of COURSE they were drooling; you ARE a big, desirable hunk of meat.”

“Only for you, my love,” Harry replied, leaning forward to kiss Draco’s nose, which led to a rather serious snog until Harry lifted his head. “I just realized where I know them from! They were the girls from Kappa Upsilon Nu!” Harry said, pleased with himself for figuring it out.

“Goody for them. Now get down here and kiss me,” Draco ordered, impatient to get back to the good stuff. He tilted his head back in expectation.

“Yes, sir,” Harry groaned in anticipation, his cock hardening under Draco’s head, as he dipped down again.

*

“Draco, the club is going to close before we even get there!” The following Friday night, Harry was standing in the living room, jacket in his crossed arms, yelling at his boyfriend, who was taking an exceptionally long time to get ready, even for him. “Whatever you’re wearing is fine—what the fuck?!”

Draco waltzed into the living room, dressed in the skimpiest patent leather mini skirt he could find, complete with his newly purchased thigh-high ‘hooker boots’, female accoutrements, and a midriff-showing top.

“I kind of like looking like this,” he admitted, fluffing the blonde wig he was wearing that was styled in two pigtails that draped sexily over his shoulders. He batted his glitter-covered eyes at Harry, pursing his lipstick-painted lips for a teasing kiss.

“Looking like a girl?” Harry raised his eyebrow doubtfully but dutifully pulled on his jacket, knowing that any argument from him was a lost cause. He made a mental note to pull out the coconut bra and grass skirt, just to see if Draco would actually wear it.

“Well, yeah,” Draco countered, shrugging into a mini denim jacket that wasn’t much longer than the shirt. “What did you think I meant?”

“Dressing like a stripper,” Harry couldn’t resist, promptly turning and fleeing down the stairs, hands thrown up over his head in self-defense, as Draco hurled couch pillows at his retreating form.

“I HATE YOU!” He shrieked, to make sure Harry heard him, as he clomped carefully down the stairs.

“You love me,” came Harry’s smug reply as he watched Draco lock the door, licking his lips appreciatively. They got in the car.

“You’re lucky I love you,” Draco grumbled. “Or else those lightning bolts would be pretty tame compared to what I’d throw at you! Now can we go to the club already?”

“I love you too, Draco.”

Chapter notes

1. gauchos This means "cowboys" in Spanish. The tango DID come from the cowboys of Argentina, so there you go.

2. Draco rebuffing Harry's kiss Check out the tango that Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts did on "Dancing with the Stars". This type of acting was sort of what the beginning of the dance was supposed to be (you know, prim and proper and then turning into sexy and dirty...well, PG dirty) I couldn't find it on youtube *sad* but if you go to abc.com and watch “Round 3”, you can see Marie’s tango.

3. Edited The llevada Here is the clip from "Dancing with the Stars" of Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough dancing the tango. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZzQEFjtEAs

Seriously, this is Draco's dress (only with green lining...not pink). The first time she kicks her leg up is NOT the move I'm thinking of (although it's still really hot) and then she goes into some ochos. The second time she kicks her leg up IS what I'm talking about (and if you watch closely, you'll see that she uses her 'outside' leg the first time and crosses Helio's body, while she uses her 'inside' leg the second time...)

If this is just making you more confused (for you non-dancers) then just watch Helio and Julianne's tango and pretend it's Harry and Draco *giggle*

Here is a link for Jennie Garth and Derek Hough's tango on "Dancing with the Stars". It has a really clear 'leg kick' where she hooks her leg over his thigh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDOTGSTp1bs And at the very end when he drags her (and both her toes are barely on the ground), the only difference for Harry and Draco is that Draco's leg is hooked on Harry's hip as Harry moves backwards.

4. Edited The ronde ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! This is the clip that I COULD. NOT. FIND. no matter WHAT I did! But I FOUND IT! I was hoping that you wouldn't notice that I had missed this one move, since I couldn't find the clip of what I wanted.

I remember the move (and used it for the tango) but I couldn't remember who did it, what dance they did it to, or even what they were wearing (which made it difficult when searching for it). BUT there was a half-second clip on the Season Finale of "Dancing with the Stars", and I paused our DVR and started screaming, "THAT'S IT!! THAT'S IT!! THAT'S THE MOVE!! I FOUND IT!!"

It was Jane Seymour and Tony Divolani's rumba. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MkvqrWjgRI There are some really pretty forward ochos for those who haven't gotten enough. The move, though, that I described in the story, with the ronde through the guy's leg while the girl's other leg is on the guy's hip is right after Tony lunges and Jane's leaning on his leg and she extends her leg up high in the air (that's not the move).

The move is right AFTER that, when she hooks her leg over his hip, and then he drops her down and moves her foot in a circle on the floor behind him/between his legs. THAT's the move that Harry and Draco did in the middle of the floor, going from the llevada to the corte.

5. Edited The corte Here is Jane and Tony's tango also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmtMNwraPk4 This one has really good ochos, as well as an awesome corte (it's the lunge that happens right AFTER she hooks her leg over his hip, but they go back into closed tango position and lunge)

6. The finale Okay, this move WAS taken directly from "Dancing with the Stars"...only it wasn't a tango move when it was on! The clip is from Jane and Tony's Viennese Waltz, and the move starts at 00:53 when she spins towards him by herself, and then he catches her, she fans out, and then they end by 1:03. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8t78n7vMk4 and seriously, it is SO beautiful.

Of course, I have Harry and Draco ending with Harry holding Draco from behind, whereas Jane and Tony keep dancing. However, their end pose (embracing, faces away from each other, except that Jane's foot is off the ground) is EXACTLY like the end pose for three of the other couples.

The pose for the other couples (with the girl clutching the guy's thigh) was taken from the tango that Niles and Daphne do from the TV show "Frasier". Here's the link to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m5F4uq811Q and the ending is so striking.

7. Edited Kappa Upsilon Nu Yes, just like the fraternity Harry and Draco belong to (Gamma Alpha Upsilon or GAY in Greek) has hidden innuendo, so too does Kappa Upsilon Nu. I'll give you a second to think about it, and once you've got your guess, scroll down.

Kappa Upsilon Nu translates to CVN in Greek. According to Wikipedia, 'C' and 'G' are from the same Greek letter "Gamma" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C See, the "classical Greek" is Gamma. But as ZooArmy pointed out--and I don't know WHY I didn't think of this--'k' and 'c' are the same as well, which would mean that it's "Kappa" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kappa instead of "Gamma".

I guess that would make it MY call as the author, and I pick Kappa. There really is a sorority called "Gamma Upsilon Nu" and (before Zoo's suggestion) I was really worried about putting that in my story, since there is no relation at all. But after ZooArmy's solution, there IS no such thing as "Kappa Upsilon Nu", just like there's no "Gamma Alpha Upsilon" either, which makes me feel 100% better about using it. Thank you, ZooArmy!

'V' and 'Y' are also from the same Greek letters, just in case you were wondering. Now...can you guess why I chose the letters CVN?

If you guessed "the CoVeN"...YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! *squeal* Told you I threw a surprise in there for my girls! Now we have a house, sheets, AND shirts! Aren't you excited? We all got to go "see" Harry and Draco tango, as well as give them both hugs afterwards! *squeals and dies* haha I'm such a dork.

And lastly, this clip is just a REALLY good piece of professional dancing. It was from one of the results shows (when the professionals dance). This is LeAnne Rimes singing "How Do I" while Julianne and Tony dance. SO CUTE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgrK8lSsSPY

Edited Something extra too....THE SEASON FINALE OF "DANCING WITH THE STARS" WAS TONIGHT!!!! In third place *drumroll* Marie Osmond and Jonathan Roberts!!!! *applause*

(Stop reading now and skim down if you don't want to know who won...)

And in second place *drumroll* Mel B and Maksim Chimerkofskiy!

WHICH MEANS THAT HELIO AND JULIANNE WON!!!!! THEY WON!!!!!! Our fantasy couple (who we imagine as Harry and Draco...well, I do anyway, and so does Roozette! Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough are the DANCING WITH THE STARS Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roozette YOU'VE BEEN READING MY MIND!!!!!! I also hope you enjoy the links to the different videos! Thank you so much for your review! Harry and Draco doing the paso doble? *mental slap* No, muses, go away! I have enough to work on! Argh...we'll see! LMAO But yeah, that would be SO HOT!

You're right about the SAT-I and II...but I never took either! (lol just the ACT) Thanks for catching that!

gorgeousbrowneyes Mmmm, thanks for your review! Of course Draco's gonna show lots of leg! *giggle* It's not the tango without it! I hope you enjoyed it!

ZooArmy Thanks for your review! I hope you enjoyed the "surprise" at the end of this chapter! Well, "normal" high heels generally don't have a strap across the foot. And they're also taller than dancing shoes. Dancing shoes (and tango shoes) are made specifically to center your weight in the middle of the heel, which is better for dancing and gives you more support, whereas regular high heels push most of your weight onto the balls of your feet because you're balancing. The bottoms of the dance shoes are also designed to help you glide better when you need to do fast twirls but still have enough traction so that you don't slip.

thrnbrooke Yay, you reviewed! *hugs* I can't tell you how much I love seeing your name posted in my review section! I hope this lived up to expectations!

Edited--responses to reviews

paigeey07 No worries! Thanks for reviewing when you can! I appreciate it!

ZooArmy YAY!!!! You solved my problem that you didn't even know I had!! Thank you so much! (and thanks for reviewing too) Now you'll definitely remember the Greek letters!!!

Roozette Thanks for that AWESOME review!!! Did you watch the season finale??????? "Harry" and "Draco" won!!!!! Well, HELIO and JULIANNE WON!!!! (Of course, I would've been happy if Mel B and Maks had won because they were great too, but I was REALLY pulling for Helio and Julianne because they are SO CUTE together!!!!)

Thank you for your encouragement. I really appreciate your kind words...and *looks around nervously* I was in the car driving the other day when the muses attacked again...so there might be another installment of "This is the Way"...we'll see!

SnapesSweetheart Thanks for reviewing!!! I hoped you guys (well, girls) would like that little surprise!!! And yes...video of Harry and Draco dancing...in a closet...on a broom...it all works for us!!! *giggle*

thrnbrooke Thank you for reviewing!!!

gorgeousbrowneyes Thank you for your review!!! Draco bought fake bosoms (hence the 'accoutrements') at a...bosom store? I don't know...where do you go to get fake breasts? I have real ones, so I never thought about that. Maybe he got a Wonder Bra and used pudding-filled balloons (feels more realistic). Vanilla, of course!

*groan* You guys and my muses are not convinced that the series is over, and I must admit...I'm starting to sway. Well, and now I've changed the order of the videos, but I still think they were all good. Check out Jane and Tony's rumba...that's the one I added.

I'd call the professional dance...a rumba. It was a country song, but it was too slow and romantic to be swing (or jive). It was a four-beat pattern, and you could do the rumba box to it (that's the type of rumba that I know). They did more lifts and fancy moves than basics, but if I had give it a classification, I would call it a "rumba".

Miss Nikki Thanks for your review!!!! A challenge?? You must have had a secret meeting with my muse *glares at muse* because I just had an idea for another installment...

Roozette You did see part of the finale!!! I was SO nervous for Helio and Julianne's freestyle, but they did FANTASTIC!!!! They so deserved to win!!! And can you even IMAGINE that 10 weeks ago, Helio had NEVER danced before? Makes me wonder what is possible with Harry and Draco and 10 weeks...*HOTTNESS*

I know what you mean about the absence of Coven shirts...but CAMERON TOOK HIS SHIRT OFF!!!! *WOO* That in itself was pretty darn sexy, except that they didn't give much camera time to his bare, naked chest! *glares at producers* Damn you, evil producers! Give us naked men!!!

(Oh, and Tom Bergeroff sure cut loose...first he breaks out the "badass" and then "to hell with it"...I was like, "OH! Four-letter words on family-friendly TV?? I like it!")

Edited 11-27-07 Famous last words: (Like I said, another may be in the works...we'll see...)
Thus ends the "This is the Way" series! See what happens when you issue challenges? I want to thank everyone again for reading and reviewing! Hope to see you next time for one of my other stories!

Love always,
Graballz
