Chapter Six

Ron rounded the corner to the Hogwarts kitchens, where he knew he would find Crabbe and Goyle. Those two fat lumps always were looking for some sort of food, when they weren’t trailing the Ferret like the dogs they were.

He spotted them as they were about to leave, their arms laden with various snacks. Pretending to not know they were coming, he practically ran into them, fell to the floor and dropped the small bottle he was holding, which was complete with a magical label that claimed the liquid inside was “Fred & George’s Amazing Quiddich Juice”. Harry had magically created that label and had somehow convinced Ron to accidentally run into Crabbe and Goyle so they would take the potion to Draco. Ron, who was out of the loop as usual, had been told that the potion inside would make Draco have problems flying his broomstick so Harry could teach him a lesson by beating the pants off him at the Quiddich match the next day.

He had eagerly agreed to the plan, thinking that the Ferret deserved to be publicly embarrassed after the way he had been treating Harry lately. Ron was too dense to notice what Hermione had noticed – that the hate was just a cover for love.

So when Crabbe and Goyle rounded the corner, causing him to “accidentally” drop the bottle, he was more then ready to fake his reaction.

“Why don’t you two watch where you’re going!?” He stood up, brushed himself off, and scowling at them, rounded the corner to the kitchens, leaving the bottle filled with potion sitting at the pair’s feet.

The two goons stared after him at a loss for words, before turning back to each other and shrugging. Who knew what was wrong with the Weasel family? They were just plain weird.

It was Crabbe who noticed the bottle on the floor and bent down to pick it up, surprisingly not dropping a single snack. He read the label on the bottle, and seemed to be thinking for a few minutes as he and Goyle stood in the hallway. Goyle was busily peering at the bottle, looking as fascinated by the magical label as he would have been with a cupcake.

Crabbe was trying to decide whether he wanted this drink for himself, or whether it would be better to give it to Draco, the Slytherin Seeker, and therefore, the best hope for the team to win. He finally came to the conclusion that if he gave it to Draco, not only would Slytherin win the Quiddich game, but Draco might forgive him for sneaking into his Prefect room to use the large and private bathroom to wank to own his large collection of bestiality. There was just something wonderful about Unicorns…
