"Ok, Malfoy, we've got our first suggestion for you. You have double Potions with Hermione today don't you?"

"Yes, starting directly after breakfast. Why?"

"Ask Snape, since we all know he favors you, to pair you with her for the year. It's simple, you'll have access to her for a double class and you have the chance to show her you're not the bloody bastard she assumes you are."

"Bloody bastard? I think not, my parents were most assuredly married at the time of my birth. Malfoys don't have 'bastards'. However, I will admit that is a rather good suggestion, one I will have to take under consideration. Although, Uncle Sev is likely to make me an appointment at St. Mungo's. I could tell him that I wish a partner whose marks match mine, which would be effective."

"Yeah, whatever it takes, Malfoy. You do realize when this is all over, you're gonna owe each of us one hell of a favor?"

"Yes, Weasley, I am well aware of the etiquette required when making large requests. Whatever you want, it's yours."

"Well, then, my request isn't all that hard for a man of your means. I want Nimbus 5000s...."

"Done."

"...For the entire Gryffindor Quidditch team."

"Are you mad, man? I can't do that! I'm the bloody Captain of the Slytherin team! I can't give Nimbus 5000s to the opposition!"

"Etiquette, remember? I can't be giving you tips on how to 'court' my best friend, but I'm doing it anyway. What happened to 'Whatever you want, it's yours', Malfoy?"

"Bloody, shagging hell! Fine, but only if this endeavor is successful, if it doesn't work then no deal. Agreed?"

"Agreed."

"Hell, he wants Nimbus 5000's, I'm almost afraid to ask, but what do you want, Potter?"

"No time for that, Malfoy. Here comes Hermione. Look like we've just been arguing."

"Harry, Ron! Malfoy. Don't tell me you're at each other again?"

"Alright, Gr..Hermione, we won't tell you that."

"What did you just call me?"

"Hermione, it is your name, correct?"

"What are you playing at, Malfoy? You've never called me by my given name. It's always Mudblood, or at best, Granger."

"I apologize for the insult, but if you think about it Granger is also your given name. So, I 'have' called you by your given name."

"Malfoy, I don't know what your game is, but I will find out and hex you into oblivion. Ron, Harry, are you coming?"

"Yes, 'Mione."

As the three friends walk away, Draco smirks to himself. {That went well, old man. She only threatened to hex you.}
