A Cold Shoulder, A Hot Man

A/N: First of all I just want to thank everyone for their extremely nice reviews. But I'd also like to say one thing, it hasn't happened on this story but it's happened on my other one, if you have nothing constructive to say don't say it at all. It's obvious a lot of people that come on this site are not of age so it's a little insulting having someone who I assume is much younger than me criticize my spelling as well as my grammer. But on a lighter note. This chapter is a little short but I promise the next one will be much longer.

A Cold Shoulder, A Hot Man

Weeks had gone by, maybe more than weeks, Harry had lost track of time. The only thing he hadn’t lost track of though was the feeling of Malfoy’s lips on his and boy could he not forget it.

“Harry you all right?” Ginny asked him over breakfast. He nodded and put a fork full of eggs into his mouth, “You look sick sweetheart,” she said getting up and walking towards him, putting her hand on his head.

He tried not to cringe as her hand touched his face. He needed a drink. But he had promised Draco that he…Bugger Draco, he thought to himself, “I’m all right I think I just need to go for a walk. I’m going to take the long way to work…or the Muggle way to work.”

“All right,” she said looking at him apprehensively, “Have a good day,” she leaned close and Harry gave her a chaste kiss on the lips. This was going to be a long day.

He walked down the steps to the Muggle underground and paid the fair getting his ticket and waited for the train. What had Malfoy done to him. He must have put him under some kind of a spell. He was not a pouf. He never had been. Not with Cho and certainly not with Ginny. He felt the gust of air that meant the train was approaching and stepped towards the edge getting ready to board the train.

Well I know I’m not a pouf. Harry thought to himself I just can’t get him out of my head. Every time I close my eyes his grey eyes are staring right back into mine, “Excuse me,” he said as he bumped into someone getting onto the train, “Malfoy.”

“Potter,” Malfoy said inclining his head and walking to the back of the train car and sitting down opening up a Daily Prophet concealed inside a Muggle magazine.

Harry rushed towards him and sat across form him and leaned forward, “We have to talk, “ he hissed.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Potter but I assure you, I have nothing…civil,” he said looking up and then glancing back down, “ to say to you. Now if you don’t mind I’m reading the paper.”

Harry sat back with his mouth wide open an then closed it looking incredulously at Malfoy.

“Are you aware Mr. Potter that you are staring?” Malfoy asked him without even looking up from his paper.

“Why are you riding the Muggle underground?” Harry whispered at Malfoy.

“I’m pretty sure that that is not of our business. This is my stop,” Malfoy said rising out of his chair as Harry did the same, seeing as it was his stop too. They rode the escalator up to the street corner where they caught the lift in disguise as a telephone booth.

“Harry Potter, Head of the Auror Office,” Harry said into the receiver.

“Draco Malfoy, visiting Minister Shacklebolt on private business,” Draco said into the receiver.

The lift jolted to a start, “I can’t get you out of my head what did you do to me?” Harry demanded of Malfoy, “All I can think about is you.”

“I didn’t do anything to you Potter. What you are feeling is something that I had no control over,” the lift jerked to a halt and Harry grabbed onto Malfoy’s arm, “Let me go Potter.”

“Meet me tonight at the Trolls Lagoon, please just so we can talk,” Harry whispered urgently into Malfoy’s ear. Malfoy curtly nodded and walked away from Harry biding Hello to some witch that walked passed him. Harry sighed a sigh of relief. Maybe now he could get this whole thing sorted out.
