soul mates?
Chapter # 6: (soul mates?)
Much to Harry’s surprise his dad wasn’t home. So he waited up for him in hopes of having the ‘proper chat’ with him. Harry settled down on his couch after changing into his night robes with a book in hand when his father came in.
“well did you have a good time?” Severus asked.
“yes, I did.” Said Harry with a grin on his face.
“why did you wait up?”
“well I was hoping that we could talk.” answered Harry.
“sure what’s on your mind?” asked Severus as he settled down on the couch next to his son.
“can you tell me what happens when I find my soul mate?”
“umm…well Harry when you find your soul mate, things happen just like they would if you were with a girl.” said Severus, searching for the right words to say.
“you mean that we can have kids?”
“umm, yes. Why do you ask?”
“nothing big I just wanted to know the risks involved before I go sleeping with my boyfriend.”
“so I take it that Draco’s your boyfriend?” asked Severus, a very pleased expression on his face.
“I didn’t say that. But who knows. How do you tell if someone’s your soul mate?”
“well there is really no way to tell, that’s the bad part.”
“ok, that’s all I wanted to know. Thank you”
“you’re welcome and Harry, if you have anymore questions just ask.” said Severus as he got up to leave.
“well there is one more thing…” Harry said before his dad could get very far.
“yes?” Severus said as he turned to look at his son.
“where have you been lately, what’s Lucius got to do with it?” Harry asked in a bit of a rush, hoping that his father wouldn’t be angry that he had asked.
“well,” Snape hesitated, “I’ve been at the Order doing work and Lucius is helping me.”
“but I thought that Lucius was one of Voldemort’s supporters?”
“he left you-know-who’s ranks when I did, he works for the Order now.”
“oh, ok. That’s all I wanted to know, I’m going to bed, goodnight.”
“goodnight, Harry.”
And with that Harry got up and left for his own room.
